Even if chica shows you the physical cedula it's not guaranteed that it's real and / or it's hers. I was chatting with one FB girl for months and couldn't arrange cita because she had only contrasena. My building is requiring only original cedula or passport and they're checking it scanning barcode with the app on the phone. One day she told me that she got her original cedula and we arranged the cita. She arrived and front desk called me and said they won't let her in because the cedula is fake. When I later asked them what was wrong they told me that original cedula was issued to a MAN with different name. I know for sure that she's not underaged, so I don't know what her intentions were to use the fake cedula, but couple of my friends had her and that cedula passed "inspection" in Energy Living and couple other places. I also know at least 2 chicas that were using their older sister's cedulas and were banging gringos at 16 and 17 and one that is 18 already but didn't get her cedula yet and using her friend's cedula.

P.S. It reminds me of the "perfect" ID (from the states though).

This trip I had a 17-year-old girl who told me that she had her cousins identification card and they look alike. She has already been seen a number of gringos. I told her I would wait for her to turn 18 because I don't want any trouble. Another girl told me that she could bring her sister's cedula. Well, at least the girls are honest enough to tell me that they are not 18.

So after a late arrival I decided to call it a night after davivienda cancelled a 1 million transaction I requested. I almost requested 2 mil. The good thing is it gave me a receipt saying transaction not received. But my account still shows pending the money subtracted from my account, hopefully it will be back in my account when I wake up, so I don't have to make a phone call, but yeah fuck davivienda, I was going to go get something to eat and maybe pick up a chick or just get some numbers at lleras bar or gustos but I think this was a sign to call it a night, so I did. Not only that but I forgot my burner iPhone at the airport smh. Hoping someone leaves it at the lost and found. I think I just need some sleep, been up past 24 hrs. Only slept a bit on the plane. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

I had the same thing happened to me. ATM transaction unsuccessful but my bank emails me that the money was withdrawn. Don't worry about it. It gets corrected in the end but you may have to inform your bank. When I got home, the money was still withdrawn from my bank account. I emailed my bank and they said they would look into it and temporarily gave me back the money. After a week or so, I got another email saying that the money credit was permanent and all is well.

Assume you are married for one year with a kid and is the sole earner, it is probably unwise to wait for the sake of the child because the divorce settlement could be lifetime vs less than 1 year once you pass the time threshold depending on states. You are digging a hole that becomes deeper and deeper as you get older. On the other hand, if you have already passed the time threshold or are wealthy enough, then waiting does not have the same issue as in a shorter marriages, let's say less than 10 years.

Yeah a one year old versus a 12 year old makes a world of difference when parents divorce. I went thru this when divorcing with two teenagers at the time, and there are "scars" in the sense of very bad memories my children haven't been able to completely get beyond due to errors by both me and my ex-spouse. And marriage length his huge, but everybody goes a different route as to handle if and when to divorce. And I remember working and meeting guys going thru a divorce who had children, and I remember a sports event with my daughter at around 12 years old at a Park where a couple were going thru a divorce and fighting in front of their kids and other parents. Some really ugly stuff goes on and my bet is there are several others who can attest to this.

Fast forward to one year after I divorced about twenty years ago and I show up at the Del Rey in San Jose Costa Rica on my maiden mongering foray.

Oh my god, what a fucking eye opener that was. Not only the women who worked there at the time, but how many guys where showing up there who were in the throes of divorce. And after sampling the Colombians there for a year I finally started coming here!

You are right it is not fool proof. It is a tool that maybe useful in some occasions. The public web site will show only name and cedula number. That is enough to see if the cedula exists before meeting the girl. Many of them don't try to hide and will have no cedula and cedula number.

Damn you traveling from the west coast? A friend of mine left his debit card in an ATM at the airport once. Went back the next day and was able to get it back from security.

Fuck Davivienda! I spent almost an hour at the bank asking them to return my 1. 000.000 mil they stole form my bank but not spit money out. I checked "Decline banks exchange rate" and said the transaction was successful but did not spit any money at me. I have capital one so called them and the transaction went through on there end and the rep said the ATM should have gave you money. After using google translate with some manager at the Davivienda bank almost an hour did they tell me they will credit the account but my take 7-10 bussiness days. Still recieved no answer why ATM did that. I'm not the only one, other people have been scammed a couple years ago by same bank. Careful of Davivienda bank.

Of course the key is in determining the "fair amount. " It's like when the Democrats say that "rich" people need to pay their "fair share. " Don't be a sucker and assume that what they ask for is "fair. " Maybe it's fair to them, but not fair to you based on the market. I agree that they want a nice guy who will not hurt or abuse them. Especially if there is a good possibility of repeat business. The more you chase after a hardened pro, the more attitude you get, the more you'll be asked to pay, and, in some cases, the lower the quality of sex will be. My best, most economical girls are those who are new or only part-time or who are non-pros who don't really ask for anything at all (although I always offer them something for "sus cosas".

What is more important to them than looks or charm is that you are a nice guy who is willing to pay them a fair amount for the sex.

I didn't get cheated on but the marriage was going downhill. I just bit the bullet and got divorced even with small kids. It does not actually have it on your kid's life if you have a good shared custody arrangement. It has been 10 years now and life has been good. But I understand the concern about how we would affect the lives of your kids. I have never regretted that divorce. One of the best decisions I have made in my life. The past years with these attractive women overseas has been amazing.

You actually might be an exception compared to others as to how things might of turned out if you had been in an ugly divorce which seems to be more the case.

The impacts financially are one thing, and can be horrendos, but the emotional and psychological damage to the children can be far worse.

I'm going to bet, that some here, might agree that the best thing they got out of being married where children, at least that's my personal experience being married and divorced with two children.

I am an older white guy and I speak from experience. I have been invited to meet the family and remain friends with them. Doubtful it was love. Most likely an opportunity to have an older benefactor or something.

Also met the friends and their families and they all lived in very poor neighborhoods that you'the never see a Gringo in and nobody ever bothered me and I was never scared.

Don't seek yourself short my friend. People respond to genuine personalities and my studying Spanish and Latin American Affairs with a degree in both at the age of 60 helped I'm sure.

Ok, so I really just have to speak for myself then.
