I am writing this from the airport returning from Medellin. Missed my connecting flight due to delay on the first flight. Had to stay overnight in hotel for next flight. At least it was the flight returning from Medellin.

You actually might be an exception compared to others as to how things might of turned out if you had been in an ugly divorce which seems to be more the case.

The impacts financially are one thing, and can be horrendos, but the emotional and psychological damage to the children can be far worse.

There is no reason for 2 adults not to come to an amicable decision. Instead people would rather be greedy and make the lawyers rich. Then some people just do not know any better. I was talking to a coworker the other day that paid a lawyer $115,000 when she got a divorce. Her ex took her to court on contempt charges and she paid even $7,000 more for the lawyer to show up to court with her. I tried to explain to her how she was out of her mind and could have done it her damn self but she insisted she needed to be ripped off. My divorce only cost me the $55 it was to file the initial petition.

Emotional and psychological damage only happens when people have jackazzes for parents. When my mom and dad got divorced my dad still came to see me and my brother everyday when he finished work. I had the same thing happened to me. ATM transaction unsuccessful but my bank emails me that the money was withdrawn. Don't worry about it. It gets corrected in the end but you may have to inform your bank. When I got home, the money was still withdrawn from my bank account. I emailed my bank and they said they would look into it and temporarily gave me back the money. After a week or so, I got another email saying that the money credit was permanent and all is well.

Yeah a one year old versus a 12 year old makes a world of difference when parents divorce. Fuck Davivienda! I spent almost an hour at the bank asking them to return my 1. 000.000 mil they stole form my bank but not spit money out. I checked "Decline banks exchange rate" and said the transaction was successful but did not spit any money at me. I have capital one so called them and the transaction went through on there end and the rep said the ATM should have gave you money. After using google translate with some manager at the Davivienda bank almost an hour did they tell me they will credit the account but my take 7-10 bussiness days. Still recieved no answer why ATM did that. I'm not the only one, other people have been scammed a couple years ago by same bank. Careful of Davivienda bank.
