Being a leader does not mean you should expect those that you lead to show up clueless. Leading does not mean dragging someone along behind you. Even in the military the last person in line has been through boot camp and expected to have some general idea of concepts. They do not just go from home to the battlefield and told just follow that guy; he is your leader. And if something happens to the leader then those following should have some inkling of what to do. They should not just lay down and not do anything because there is no more leader.

Leaders have support. The President does not make his own briefings everyday. There are people that gather and assemble the information for him to go over in order to make decisions. That is what I look for in a woman. But obviously I am expecting too much and you do not expect anything at all. Do you know how many times I have asked a chick to find a place to stay and she goes to booking, plugs in the place, then sends me the search results. Really? I could have done that my damn self in half of a second.

It is funny in Latin America you always get chicks that say they want a man that is a detallista. But when it comes down to it they do not know how to be detallistas their damn selves. When it is their birthday they expect you to do this that and the other. When your birthday rolls around they are clueless of what to do. Reminds me of a buddy that lived in the Dominican Republic. He treated this chick like a queen. When his birthday rolled around she did not give him so much as a damn birthday card saying kiss my ass.

Agree with you, but my local fixers said you always need to check. As you know certain barrios are controlled by certain gangs and others are a bit of no man's land. As I understand it where Paul and I were drugged in Laureles was non man's land. After the government and police started to follow up the girl and her gang reached out to the bigger gangs for protection (or to get them safely out of the city), but they were rebuffed because of the reasons you noted and I understand almost got knocked off due to bringing more heat to certain barrios.

Yep. The period is used instead of the comma in many places in the world, including in Spanish numbering. So 130.000 = 130,000 in English numbering. Or more often recently there is just a space, 130 000 And the comma is used as a decimal point. And to further complicate, often the last 3 0's in 100,000 will be omitted and the term mil or the letter k will be used. The letter k is universal for 1000, and the word mil is one thousand in spanish. So 130 k = 130 mil = 130 000 = 130.000 = 130,000 in English numbering.

And then to figure it out in dollars you can look up the conversion online, or approximate it by dividing by 5000 and adding back 10%. For US dollars.
