Then it gets dark, the shops start to shut down, and then it starts to get nasty. Real nasty.

Yes, there are people selling their bodies in parts of centro. These include skanky addicts, hideous trannies, gays, older broads as well as some girls who are way too young to be on the streets. And I do mean way too young to be doing what they are doing. And you don't want any part of that. In short, what you will see is mostly people (not necessarily female) who couldn't work in a casa the cita and didn't have the means, the brains or the body to work as a prepago. The barricades will not impede any of your activities while in Centro unless you drag a very skanky / and or young looking Chica from outside the barricades to go to one of the three Love Motels inside the barricaded area which include Zona Rosa, Botero, and Premium Plaza.

To me it is like if someone is a below average guitar player and I ask them to come play in my band for $200 a night.
