You are right about the the metal door and gate production in that scary part of Prado. It is rumored that the metal barrier that preceded the one now in place was stolen and then sold piece by piece to the workshops in that area. That sort of clandestine recycling is how some of the night crawlers survive.

I was there Friday night looking for a kitchen tool, I found it but wrong size. I ended up having pig's ear for dinner. The vendor raised the price to 7 mil from 6 mil. The trannies seemed to have reclaimed the old corner they used to occupy during the time I passed there. Judging by what I saw, you would be in paradise. I think one effect of the barricade is that it flushes out gringos to Cr 53. I have never seen that many and a few looked out of place. Young and were dressed for Lleras, not el centro.

Saturday morning, I continued the hunt for my tool and looking for some ingredients that are not available at supermarket. I got off at Prado station. Last week the pig's jaw was sold out at this hour so I decided to skip the picada and just walked to Mirorista to get lechona. I passed by cracklandia. It was raining, so all the vendors had their little tent up but that place was like a sausage fest. It proved that tussi is high end because I didn't see any there LOL. Ironically, this is probably where many high end places get their iron gates or doors made.

Instead of lechona that costs maybe 6 mil adjusted for inflation. I had this great fish dish for 16 mil. That is high end for me. Haha. The cook is from the coast that is 3 days away from Medellin. I know a place in Laureles that serves coastal food but that is no match to this one. I found their hot sauce and started pouring it onto my dish before they were able to stop me. It was hot, and they all giggled seeing my reaction to it.

I still could not find my tool of the size I want but I came across this home-made hot sauce that was 10 mil in a big can. I wanted a smaller one so the owner automatically lowered it to 8 mil. On my way home, I got some beef. I like shopping at butcher shop because one can pick specific area of meat and they will cut it to whatever style you want. I have been trying to figure out the name of some items in Spanish so I bought some every time I figured out the names. That is my last stop at a supermarket. Tomorrow is my turn to cook. I don't drink personally. The liquor is for guests and cooking experiment.

I am going To medellin next month, of course you get bombarded with Facebook requests.

All these chics are requesting 300 k not including taxis. Last trip in September it was easier to change the rate on them.

Don't know if I should wait untill I get here and do the take it or leave it approach.

Facebook chics are lot easier to deal with than going to the clubs.

I like the barricades as it basically cuts down on the rift rap, guys on bikes / motos, the Venezuelan boyfriends milling around their girlfriends wanting the money as soon their client leaves the Love Motels, and all the vendors, sacaleros, drunks, and zombies not allowed to be inside.

Yeah it's congested along the glass covered walkway, and the backside. And with the passageway along the Museum being shutoff, the girls are more highly concentrated but there are plenty working inside the barricades, but the Church / Fountain area courtyard seems to be off limits. That area had a high concentration of skanks working around the phone booths and used to be the "bomb" years ago, along with the passageway along the Museum that you and many others are aware of.

Basically, Colombia is going thru a metamorphosis with tourism driving it as fifteen years ago it didn't exist, except for Colombians versus foreigners. And it's just not Medellin where it's taken off. With the creation of the Digital Nomad Visa there are estimates of 45,000 people obtaining them in the next couple of years so you can only imagine how things will further change.

I suspect the barricades are here to stay. The last thing I would think the City wants is any bad press for tourism given what is transpiring.

Yes it's a problem. LOL I've spent a lot of time in centro and while they have all given head, it's like you said. Once you are fully hard they are done with that and trying to get them to do anything but fuck is not easy. Or it takes more encouragement than I'm prepared to give them. My bet is that many of the regulars they get probably are not real clean and so they get very used to making it something they just get over with. There are a few I think that just get so worked up and fucking seems to really be their thing. They don't ever seem to rush the fucking so I'm not sure it is about just getting us out the door.

I think this goes along with the 'paying extra' to get better service. It works in the bar to get your drinks faster. But it doesn't really work with the street sluts. So you really don't think that a guy that is not a slob, has good hygiene, some Spanish skills, and money in their pocket can't get a CENTRO SW to give good head and anything else desired.

Your right about the girls wanting to get the deed done quickly, but Pesos is what CENTRO is all about, and the SW's client base, which I'm going to guess is easily over 90% Colombians, there's not many paying anymore than the going rate.

But for those "paying extra", anything goes.

I thought I filled out the form correctly and entered my email address correctly but I could have possibly made a mistake. I don't recall seeing a download form option. I'm going back to Medelland and with God as my witness I'm going to be an expert on Check Mig. Maybe I won't be an expert in 6 months, a year, or even 2 years, but I'm going to get to the bottom of this hell or high water.

I went round and round with American Airlines and I Fly over this Check Mig issue. I'm polite and persistent but I failed miserably. No amount of talking or persuasion works on this Check Mig form. It really is no ticket no laundry!

I just got to Medellin on Friday. It's my second trip on the first I took Avianca. They did not require the Check Mig form. But, they asked all of the questions and asked for my vaccination docs. Then, I had to wear a mask to get on the plane. That was 3 weeks ago.

I didn't like Avianca with they hard ass seats and poor cabin service. I decided to take jetBlue from Sfo -FLL to MDE. I thought that it would easier. I was wrong. I did not know that Check Mig had to be done before getting on the plane.

I got to SFO 4 hours early and could not get past the first 2 pages of the Check Mig. I had to go to www.ivisa.com and pay $75 . The site guarantees documents in less than 30 minutes 24/7. They had mine done in 15 minutes.

It saved my ass I could not get Check-Mig to work for me.

I think you probably left this page immediately after you finished it. I would miss it too if I did not know the checkmig issue before.

My guess is Colombia already has the data entered, checking the form is just a way to ensure you have filled it out so a screenshot works too because the download option may not work either.

Honesty, if it's that difficult for you to fill out correctly, you really should consider whether it's a good idea or not for you to visit Colombia at all LOL..

I agree. All these large numbers gringos hanging out in Medellin people talk about, they all were able to fill out that form. I have filled out that form three times correctly on my computer at home and on my cellphone in Medellin going back. You just need to go slowly and there are some kinks. Sometimes United States is written in Spanish as Estados Unidos and if you are just looking for United States, you will not find it. They also ask you for the Department and the region where Medellin seems to be isn't listed so I never know what they are looking for and I just pick the one closest in spelling to Antioquia if I can't find it.

Now as to people saying that they do not ask for it at the airport in Medellin, it is in electronic form and associated with your passport so when you go to immigration control, they see it on your computer. The airlines always ask you for it too.

For those having problems, go slow, double check, and you will be fine. I have always gotten the email and been able to download it. If you are having problems, there may something on your computer or cellphone blocking it such as a firewall, virus protector or the like.

On the app there are 3 options:

1. Make your CheckMig.

2. Frequent traveler login.

3. Consult and download your CheckMig.

As everyone knows, the first option is what you use to fill out the form. It's pretty easy. But it doesn't always send the email confirmation. When filling it out on your phone, you can't always screenshot the completed form, just the message which says you completed the form.

If you go back to the app and use the third option. This should allow you to download the completed form and also get the email. Check your files for "Reporte Pre registro."

I've been using Seeking since 2017 inside the United States. The first few months I wasted a lot of money because I didn't really know just how many women on there are not really hookers in the traditional sense. Many (not all) are really looking for more of a longer term situation of a guy that helps them with the bills. They don't want to have to see multiple guys a day or even in a week. Some are just using seeking because they can find men that are a lot better off than tender or POF or most of the other sites. I travel to Medellin monthly and the last two times I have not received the e-mail. But it's not problem, as when you are going through the process, you can get a download of the document. I leave the download on my computer and also send it to my own e-mail so I can present it at the departing airport. No issues.

I don't think this is correct. I checked my entries several times before submitting. There were no spaces. Best to take a screenshot and print.
