I don't think this is correct. I checked my entries several times before submitting. There were no spaces. Best to take a screenshot and print.

You can and WILL go to jail if you don't check the age of consent and randomly have sex with 19 or 20 year olds. Two examples: South Korea, and Bahrain.

    - Individuals aged 20 or younger in Bahrain are not legally able to consent to sexual activity, and such activity may result in prosecution for statutory rape or the equivalent local law.
Seeing that you will win the mega-millions lottery 3 times over before having sex with a local chick in Bahrain, this point is unnecessary. And all the hookers there come from other places. I was with a Thai chick last night that just got back from hooking over there.

LOL! Thank you for not mentioning the SW with the wrecked nose or the trans workers. You made me laugh out loud.

I know you have "standards", and am assuming based on the above criteria that going "high end" was quite a departure for you. LOL.

I rarely go "high end", and to put things in perspective, if I go with a Chica only missing some teeth, and none of the other mentioned attributes, that is going "high end" for me!

I've never had a real problem with CheckMig, but this wrinkle slowed me down one time when I was leaving here in Medellin for a week of work in El Salvador and changing planes in Bogota. My flight number got rejected by CheckMig until I realized that I had to enter the international flight, NOT my departing flight from Medellin..

Didn't realize there was a big contingent of mongers on the Medellin board going to Bahrain for hookers. Don't they also send you to jail for soliciting sex?

    Here's a correction:

The age of consent is completely meaningless for anyone on this site, unless they are traveling to a country where the age of consent is more than 18.

Check-Mig flight numbers Another heads up

Pretty obvious, in retrospect. Makes sense.
Happy trails to voyagers one and all, be they returning or exiting Paraíso Paisa (be it by air or between two welcoming thighs).

I have had issues where the email is never sent and the app won't allow you to reenter. There is no help available.

I highly recommend taking a screenshot of your confirmation and printing it. This way you don't have to worry about it.

Last time I left Medellin it was end of January and the airport did not ask for it. However, in November they asked and checked. I would not risk not having it unless there is official statement that you don't need it for departures.

The only time I had a problem with the form I had screwed up and selected the wrong airport. I have had issues with receiving the email.

    1. Make sure you choose the right airport.

    2. Your flight number is numbers only.

    3. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, go back and consult and download your Check-Mig. That usually works for me.

I eventually paid quite a way more than I wanted for a third party service to get my MIG forms.

I do have a question, were we supposed to create another MIG form to return? I paid for a return MIG but upon departure they didn't even look at the new MIG form.

You don't pay anything for the checkmig form. You get a link in your email from the airline, you click on the link to go to the checkmig website (or you can just go to the migracion Colombia website). You answer a few easy questions and it generates a form that is instantly emailed to you. The whole thing literally takes like not even 5 mins to complete.

More on the Check MiG form

All sorry for my double posts earlier. I'm new to the forum and I'm doing this on my I phone. If anyone has anything to add in the Check Mig form please let me know. I saw another poster mention it and I don't know how to quote what was said.

Here is what I know about the Check Mig form and the problem I had.

The Check Mig form must be completed up to 3 days but no less than one hour prior to both entering and leaving Colombia. The questions are pretty standard like are you sick, have you been sick, how much money you are bringing, no big deal.

My problem is that I completed the Check MiG form on the Colombia website and the website stated they were going to email me the form. I never received an email back from the Colombian Check Mig website. I keep trying to go back in the site and retrieve the form but the site stated that the form was already submitted. I started freaking out because American Airlines has an app called I fly and if you are not verified you will need to show your documents at the airport and take then chance of not getting on the plane. I then used an app called I Visa, it was like $25 and arrived by email earlier than expected. The only problem is the I Visa Check Mig form I received was dated on the date I requested it (3 days prior) and I Fly wouldn't accept it because it wasn't dated on they date that the flight left. I told I Visa this and they said the form was good for 30 days and it will work. I Fly said that although that may be true they can't verify me and I will have to show the form at the airport. After much back and forth I convinced I Visa to get me a Check Mig form on the date I left. They charged me another $25 and I Fly ultimately accepted it. However it was a bit dicey for a minute and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get on the plane.

I complained about this during breakfast at the Mansion by stating my case that it doesn't make sense. Someone that had been coming to Colombia for 18'years said this is Colombia and there will be many things that don't make sense. He then said welcome to Colombia. Thank God the Mansion completed the exit Check Mig form for me. I'the really appreciate any advice on how to make this process less stress.

    Thanks!!
