It is now obvious you have a business to promote there. Is it not clear that the guys who stay in the Poblado area would never stay at a mayorista hotel? That's like saying the new Mickey D's is going to put a hurtin on the Four Seasons. Let's be honest me here pal.

There is no competition, no spam, just honest guys giving their opinions, keeping it real. The Mayorista does not have 30 doable women every night. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but who's kidding who?

I spent ALL but one night in Mayorista (I stayed in a hotel nearby). MANY dislike this area because it is known to have gordas (fatties) and feas (uglies). Yes, there are uglies, fatties, and grandmas. But in order to tolerate Mayorista: Patience. You need to come here with an open mind. If you are 100% wanting to find some pussy. Go to a casa or strip club. Mayorista is a street of 5-6 bars. There are many truckers here and locals that come to drink and to look at eye candy. Why did I not go elsewhere for all of my nights? Like I said, I don't consider myself a mongerer and I was there to drink and If I found someone I really liked then I'd take her.

Approximately 15-30 girls depending on the night (don't go on raining nights).25% do-able. Hotels right on the street. I took 3 girls from the area. Theres no point to name names because many streetwalkers come and go. Usually around 30k.

As a hardcore mongerer, in order to enjoy Mayorista. You should have some pros lined up just incase you don't see anyone you like in the area.

Patience if you have time is the key to finding that one good one. I have been there over a dozen times and never seen more than 2 doables out of the 15-20 girls that are there. Good thng there is always back up!

Decided to check out la Mayorista and Luna last night.

La mayorista has been described here before, it does seem like going to Tiajuana for a night. I enjoyed the experience, and it would be better with a group of guys, but I'd be hard pressed to see myself touching one of those girls.

I did see maybe 3 that looked good, but the best one walked past quickly and kept going to god knows where by all the warehouses and factories in the next block (this was at about 11 pm).

My educated guess was she was going to buy a smoke or a quick pick me up.

Some of the girls have their drug dealer boyfriends hanginig around and that is what off sets me the most. Sometime people on drugs do stupid shit although I always felt safe at the Mayorista.

Even the best ones I would really struggle to see being with, knowing they'd been with every taxi and truck driver in the city, but that's just me.

About midnight I went to Luna's for the first time. Guys outnumbered the girls at some points, but girls kept arriving, and running in and out from the VIP area and the rooms area. I'd definitely go back. In fact, it would be my back up plan every night that something didn't work out anywhere else.

Of course I prefer it to la mayorista, where the one girl who came up to talk to me nearly knocked me off my chair with her bad breath, uggghhhh.

You really need to wait it out to find the gem and once you get her don't let her go. They leave the Bush leage mayorista after a little while and wind up at the centro casas or decent strip clubs. The centro casas cost the same 30K for half an hour and the casas don't let the girls get all drugged up and stupid. Otherwise it's back to the minors in the mayorista.

If I was only going to Medellin for a week I might try to squeeze the mayorista in but at night I would rather be at Lunas, FaseII or San Diego and the Centro Casas New Life, Sexi and Energy at the stadium first. None of the places I mentioned are in Poblado by the way.

Flying to Medellin to score gutter chicks is not my idea of a good escape from sex prison.

Frank, I'm guilty. Before my first trip everyone said stay away from La Mayorista girl's. Even my door man at my El Pablado penthouse said don't bring any La Mayorista girl's here. It's funny because my Sandiego and Luna Luneras girls could stop by for afternoon delights sometimes unannounced. I feel I should have given La mayorista more time. Hanging out there drinking was cool, but only a prelude for other establishments. I think the problem I have is that I don't want to be around drugs and that seemed to be acceptable in La Mayorista. I was with two wingmen when a popular gringo (e mail me, can't post his name here) sat to drink with us. He had a cute honey that he had done drugs with and wanted to pawn her off on us. My wingman said yes but I talked him out of it. Well this gringo left before we slipped the girl. Anyway in our taxi the cops pull us (I posted previously about this) and we talked our way out of whatever. My point is that I want to give La Mayorita the benefit of the doubt now minus the drug element.

My first question to you is how would your door man know they are from La Mayorista or Luna Lunera? Ï've been with girls from all the "casas" and Striptease Bars and they are the same. Some of the girls in La Mayorista wear jeans like any other girl would, specially when they leave the area, they change clothes. There all from the same "Barrios","Bello & Manrique". And I've gone out with plenty of Mansion, Luna Lunera, San Diego girls and girls from all over that do drugs just the same. So your premise that only La Mayorista girls do drugs is wrong to begin with.

There are definitely drugs in La Mayorista, and every year the distributor gets killed. But it's not out in the open, people do it in the bathrooms and in the rooms with the girls. It's a truck Drivers tourist area, some truck drivers use them to stay awake like in the USA and in any other place. I never get involve with it and drugs are prohibited at My Place, some people still get away with it and the girls that use it, but I tell them ahead of time that I won't take the fall for it. So I have been in La Mayorista for 4 years and never get involve with it and don't personally see much of it. I have friends in El Poblado that want to come to La Mayorista and hang out with me, and I avoid them precisely because they want to do drugs.

Like I said, I know people from El Poblado that come to buy drugs at La Mayorista, so it doesn't matter where you stay, is what you do with it. Marihuana is not allowed anywhere in La Mayorista because of the smell, and with police presence there all the time it's not allowed. So girls have to go way up in the Hotels to smoke it, or far away from La Mayorista. I know of at least one guy that stopped staying at My Place because one of his girls wanted to smoke marihuana at My Place and I would not let them, he's well known at ISG. Kind of rediculous when you think about it to want to smoke on the balcony at My Place when "CAI del Norte" (police station) is right accross the street.

My beef has never been with the La Mayorista vs. El Poblado, just with the "cuties" and misrepresentation of quantities and quality. If you have the money to stay in El Poblado and pay $75-100US a night for a room and $100 for 1 of the 8-12 cuties that everybody else is phucking, plus your food, more power to you. That's what I did when I first arrived to Medellin 6 years ago. I spent 3 million pesos the first 25 days through a Marriage Agency,"Colombian Sweethearts".

In La Mayorista you'll get room, board (at local restaurants) and the "cutie" for around $50US a day. For that price I'm willing to sacrifice some of the luxuries of El Poblado, plus I can go out and hang out anywhere in Parque Lleras or El Poblado whenever I want by taking the Ayura Metro or a Taxi right down the stairs from My Place. Taxi from My Place to Parque Lleras is 5-10 minutes and under $3-4US. I agree that La Mayorista is not for everybody, specially if you are OCD and are used to high end accommodations, but it's great for more travelled and experience mongers or mongers on a budget.

It's not that complicated guys, there is room for everybody. Not everybody needs to or want to stay in El Poblado, and not everybody needs to or wants to stay in La Mayorista. But in the process we have both made lots of men and mongers happy. This is not rocket science guys, everything that could be said about La Mayorista and El Poblado has been said. All anybody has to do is go back and read the reports, I have over 350 and others many more.

What is strange here to me is that people spend days if not weeks talking about what to name the new Bar at Casa Blanca, post hundred of reports and comments on and about Casa Blanca aka The Mansion, but if anything is said about La Mayorista it becomes controversial. The only logical assumption is that there are spammers or sell outs to this establishment that want to stiffle the competition. I don't use people like that. I could also offer sweet deals or "packaged girls" (for $15US, not a problem) to my guys and I guarantee you they would be more than glad to duke it out with these "spammers" and there would be a war of words like you have never invisioned. But I don't operate that way, and I don't need to. I do this as a hobbie and I'm more than happy with my guests.

I was in La Mayorista last Thursday and it was incredible. For the first time I saw more "cuties" than "phuglies". My newbies were in shock and awe. We saw over 30 "hotties" every where you looked. One of these guys owned a Strip Tease Club in the States for 8 months. He just wrote me yesterday saying how he was telling all of his friends about the best vacation he ever had in his life, and he's 48. The other guy said that in Holland they had different tiers for the girls and he considered the girls he saw in La Mayorista first tier. I understand some people don't like the area, it's no Poblado, but they are way off on the "talent" there.

I checked out this after hours spot. As I recall this place is upstairs, kind of discrete, small divided into several smaller rooms / areas with tables and chairs everywhere. Place was packed! Horrible selection. Out of 20-30 girls, only 1 or 2 which I thought were marginally doable. A taxi driver told me this is where the locals go. (the poor locals) Then kind of suddenly the cops came in, the lights went on and everybody left and started funneling into another place right down stairs as well as out onto the street and away in cabs.

Notable mention: There is a higher end club I think called Executivo. The place thats on a long straight road with the sandwich shop diagonally across the street. Someone tell me if I have the wrong name. Last time I went, I was informed they are open passed 4am. I think the music stops but they continue to sell drinks and the girls hang around indefinitely. Can someone back me up on this?

I heard about la Napa as a after hours club always wanted to check it out. I also heard about another club called la manzana. I will check them out the next visit.
