Hang out at Alamo bar. I saw prepagos there every night. How do I know? I went there with my own and she pointed them out to me. If you are not sure, befriend the bar tender. Ask him if he knows of any chicas that like hanging out with gringos.

But you are not going to find them in strip clubs and on line. You will have to visit amongst the natives to know that for sure. Live like you are a local you will meet the regulars.

Going to the tourist traps, clubs restaurants, etc. you will at best meet innocent looking girls that have learn/been taught the game. Some play it better then others and some just luck out with better SUCKERS then others.

Off the beaten path you might find a really great girl and want to cuida ella and her family. A real cool girl will not cost you much and will not play you as the Pro/non-pro will. They like most humans just want to be loved and treated well. Frank, girl two is common in the pueblos around the clubs and if you can care for them without spoiling them you will have a woman worth life long love. Just a thought.

Hi Big Risa,

if I were you I would use a different hotel, for a couple of reasons:

- The Dann Carlton in Bogota once not only included the "guest charge" for a client I had supplied with a girl on the bill, they also included THE NAME OF THE GIRL! When the client complained they argued that "their system" doesn't allow them to take it out.

- The service is just pityful. It's probably the hotel with the worst service/price ration. They just don't give a rats ass about their clients.

- Their hotels seem very antiquated and out-of-fashion to me. They might have been posh when Palbo Escobar was still around, but these days...

This place did not last 6 months!!!!

The Dollhouse nightclub in Medellin has closed following an investigation into the illegal hiring of foreign workers, and allegations that the club has links with the mafia, reports W Radio.

An unnamed source told the radio station that authorities are investigating whether the club is serving as a front to launder money connected to organized crime.

The investigation into the 5-month-old "world class five-star VIP entertainment center" located in the southern Medellin neighborhood of Itagui, began in February.

An investigation into the visa status of several employees was taken over by government intelligence agency DAS after the discovery of incidents of "odd behavior during night-time parties organized by the club."

DAS found that three Venezuelans, an American, and a Panamanian who worked in construction and remodeling on the club in the months leading up to its grand opening lacked the proper documentation to work in Colombia.

Further irregularities came to light when it was revealed that the Medellin Chamber of Commerce had no record of the club registering.

Workers at the club said it was owned by Glen Buzzetti, but Buzzetti was not named as a partner or owner of Dollhouse.

W Radio reports that Buzzetti allegedly had a conflict with an unnamed U.S. citizen who lent him a significant amount of money. The U.S. citizen later sent three men to claim the money, saying they worked for "Office of Envigado," a local criminal organization.

Dollhouse is currently closed for "remodeling" and will reportedly be opened under new management and a new name.

The investigation by the Colombian intelligence service is ongoing.

I thought that I mentioned that we danced for a good portion of the two hours. There was definitely physical contact. She is a great dancer, and, fortunately, I am only two levels below that. LOL

And, yes, my buddy took lots of pictures of the two of us dancing. Pictures that my many friends here in the USA were drooling over, simply because of her beauty.

But, I cannot post them here. Because I do not want to embarass the woman (she's 31, BTW. Not a flaky sub-25-year-old).

My buddy does not think she is a pro or a part-time pro. Because she did not suggest anything to either one of us during a 2-hour drinking and dancing "date" during the afternoon. She could have easily surmised that we would have wanted to be with her. My God. Who wouldn't.

So, the mystery is still unsolved. Any one of you who has a Gold membership on Latin American Cupid can contact her. Maybe I should offer some sort of prize to anyone who can give me a definitive answer. Be it "yes" or "no. "

I did not think about questioning her online before I went down to MDE. As I have stated before, I am a rookie.

To me, her profile screams prepago but you were there and I wasn't sooo, it's impossible for me to say.

I would have at least invited her back to my place to continue the party there. Her reaction to that would answer the question.

One night I was at Tu Candela disco in Cartagena. The place was hoppin and many, many girls were obvious full time or part time hookers. Two girls standing right next to me started partying and dancing with me. Even though they told me they were in CTG for vacation I thought they were surely P4P so I invited them back to my place. They clammed up so fast I was stunned. Only later did I learn that straight girls and working girls both go to that disco.

The only additional advice I would give about Sair is to be more up-front if you ever see her face to face again. I don't know how you could address it in writing now. Unless she does something rude or crude, I like you, would err on the side of politeness. It has nothing to do with "fear". (A recurring theme for some I frankly don't comprehend.) It's my nature.

Sounds then that you definitely had a green light to make some kind of overture/invitation. You wrote that you were waiting for some kind of sign, but you could end up waiting for a long time if you're going to rely on that. Might as well wait for signs in the sky. :) Many of these chicas won't show any interest in you until you show interest/intent first, that's just the way they're wired. Just suck up your pride and take that chance, a rejection can sting but at least you know you never had much of a chance anyway and you move on to the next opportunity. But now you're torturing yourself with "what-if?" type questions about this girl. What's worse?

Anyway, it's possible she's just a non-pro, although some of the pics in her profile seemed a bit too sexy for a non-pro to put up. Maybe she's a "grilla," i.e., a girl interested in dating several guys for attention & cash flow. Oh, and if she's 31 and still single with no kids, she's only a little less flaky than a 25-year old. :)

Start lightly touching her forearm or hand when you're making a conversational point. You said your buddy was with you? Should have had him taking pics of the two of you with your arm around her, etc. etc.

Post this in the Trip Announcements thread as well. Try a "casa blanca or hostel style place" to find someone to hang out with. Better yet just go to Parque Lleras you'll find all the gringos you want consolidated into 6 square blocks.

Lots of good suggestions already. Just wanted to add, why this sense of insecurity or fear? You're on vacation; with almost nothing to lose. Why are you worried what she thinks about you when that's something that you can barely control anyway, non-pro or not? It sounds to me not only were you hoping for sex, but you were hoping she was a pro or semi-pro. If that's really what you wanted, you should have asked during the chat sessions before you even met face to face. LuckyEddie had some very good ideas on handling those questions online.

The other way to try is to invite her to your room/apartment to chill out or hang out. If she's really a non-pro, she'll refuse to go with you alone on a first date to your apartment. If she does go up with you, you can make your "indecent proposal" official in private.

Once she's comfy, you can ask her almost anything. If she gets offended, SO WHAT? If you're really afraid of "getting slapped in the face or kicked in the balls" I think only a girl that's drunk or on drugs would do something like that. A real non-pro would just want to leave the premises without causing a scene because that would only draw more attention to the fact that she's hanging out with a monger.

So yeah, you could potentially embarrass a non-pro but you don't have to worry about yourself being embarrassed. Remember, it's a man's world in Colombia. If you're really worried about embarrassing the girl, ask on-line or try the indirect approach I mentioned above: "why don't you come up to my apartment and relax with me for awhile" You can always blame the booze and your bad spanish if she "misunderstands" you. ;)

Look, if you're spending lots of money flying down there ostensibly looking for sex, the most unproductive time-wasting thing you can do is indulge or give in to your "fears." We're talking about airhead colombianas here, not IEDs in Iraq, lol! :)

MY point is 90% of these 25-and-under non-pros are incredibly flaky, with at best ambivalent attitudes towards the men in their lives. No matter how good looking, rich, charming, or fluent in Spanish you are, there's almost nothing you can do to change that. Remember, a lot of these girls are cheating and flaking out on good looking local guys, that have the cultural know-how to charm and romance these chicas. So stop worrying about what they "think" about you. The answer is probably not much, but unless you're looking for a serious long term thing, does it really matter?

Sorry bro, not all the way true. There are the pros or semi pro prepagos that are kinda in the middle (to me a ***** is a ***** but that is another story) that don't really say anything unless the guy makes the move or hints. Especially with guys that have a certain percieved potential by the girl. Or this same girl may come right out and admit it like you say if the guy is an ugly bald 50 year old obvious a monger.

Remember she may be doing the same guessing game as the OP might be a younger good looking guy with game - not an obvious monger on the surface. "Is this guy going to offer me money or maybe we date or go down a different road...?"

Either way a girl like that is going to get your money and money from her steady clients.
