Jose Maria Cordova Airport (MDE) is in Rio Negro, approximately 45 minutes by cab from Poblado. This airport handles international as well as domestic flights. Airlines such as American, Avianca, and Copa/Aero Republica service this airport.

Olaya Herrera Domestic Airport (EOH) is located a couple of miles from the Medellin Mansion or VIP, but it is only for domestic travel in Colombia. Only 3 airlines service this airport. Aides, Aires, and Satena. If you don't like flying in small planes, best to fly out of MDE for your domestic travel in Colombia.

None of them are good LOL, But Jose Marie Cordova is the main airport for international travel. Enrique is more for domestic flights.

JMC is the international airport in Rio Negro about 30 KM outside the city. Most airlines fly here. The other airport is in Medellin and only a few airlines fly there and with smaller planes. No international traffc.

Jose Ma Cordoba is outside Medellin, 30 min ride, in a close town called Rionegro. Olaya is in Medellin. The first one attends national and intl. flights, and large planes. The second is local (regional), mostly for Cessnas, Fokkers and other small airplanes, as well as helicopters. Due to the fact that Medellin is a basin, surrounded by mountains on all sides, this first airport has reported lots of accidents, reason for the construction of the other one outside.

Actually, I've been considering this for quite some time because I believe that it does no good to criticize members for not following what other members may consider to be safe sex practices for the following reasons:

1. It's a disincentive for members to contribute.
2. It never serves to change any one's behavior.
3. It almost always leads to arguments.
4. It provides a "cover" for Serial Antagonists to provoke other members.

To address the usual arguments:

1. If a guy wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's his risk and his business.

2. If a girl wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's her risk and her business.

3. If YOU want to protect yourself from either or both of the aforementioned parties, then YOU should use a condom for sex all the time and thus YOU will be protected from the allegedly unsafe sex practices of the other parties.

I made the post below several days ago and have still yet to get an answer from any of you experienced mongers. Some of you that live in Cartagena, or have been there over easter, must have some thoughts you can share with me on this. Thanks.

"I have a few questions for those of you who are more experienced than me with the Medellin sex scene. I am planning another trip to Cartagena, with a probable 3 day side trip to Medellin. Does anyone know when the colleges give the students Easter vacation, as I assume some of the ladies might head to Cartagena to make a few quick bucks before going home to their families for Easter Sunday. I wouldn't come to Colombia for the Holly Week if I could do it some other time.
During holly week, most (rich) people go out for a week vacation.

Everything is more expansive, especially if it´s a touristic place like Cartagena.
For our friends, the girls, to say the truth, I have no clue on what they do during Holly Week, but I doubt they would stay in the major cities (Bogota, Medellin, Cali, ...) as most of their customers are probably out.

I think that Cartagena must be fully booked by now for Holly Week.
