I use it all the time. They drop you off at a taxi station. From there I just take a taxi to where ever I'm going.

Hi, I've been to that mall and you will be fine to wait to be picked up. The downtown area is considered unsafe depending on where you're walking towards. I would just wait in the mall until you know that your ride is there to pick you up.

That's the only transport I use to and from the airport. It used to be 14 k now it's 15,500 cop but still the best option. You can get dropped off and picked up at the metro station exposiciones now too and pay with either your civica card or cash. Even if you have a maleta they will put it in the back for you and it's a very comfortable bus ride.

By the second sentence of any message, any Colombian knows you're not a Colombian. Having a local number or listing your home as Medellin isn't going to make everyone ignore that you don't talk

[Deleted by Admin] I've had my +57 number since 2021 now and while messaging thru WhatsApp they cannot tell that I am not Colombian. When meeting in person I'm pretty sure I can get past the second sentence without them asking where I'm from. Opening sentences using phrases such "Hola Mami" "que mas pues" and "como me LE va".

Usually at some point they will ask me where I'm from but it's not the 2nd sentence out of my mouth. And I always reply "Soy Mexicano" I never say I'm a gringo.

Beware of women who are big in size and look over 18 but may in fact be minors.

It is worth noting that the converse of this can also be true, especially with some Venezuelan women they may be 19 20 or even 21 years old but look small and scrawny to where you would think they may look like they are minors especially by US standards.

For the first time solo travelers it's not as bad as they say. I will start by saying I'm 6'4 and 230 pounds but that doesn't mean a thing in all reality I'm also black. First trip I hit tons of casas for 3 somes. I banged chicas in El Centro beware of El Centro at night I got caught up out there with the chicas and I didn't realize it became night time. It was impossible to find a Uber or Lyft at that time which was weird because a Uber took me down there around 5 pm. I had to walk and walk and walk til I flagged down a passing cab and yes I was followed leaving el Centro and I knew it I just kept it moving that is food for thought. I want to visit strip clubs in El Centro at night but from my experience it's not good to hang around out there solo. I stayed in the thick of parque lerras last time, my first night I got stuck in el Centro after dark, I wasn't scared but I was aware I was being targeted and got the fuck out of there. By the second and third night I figured it out. Wake up eat hit el centro, hit casas for threesomes then regroup at home base use the site for chicas then hit el poblado if you still have more steam. I had 16 chicas in 4 days in Medellin. Also I went to chicas "apts" at night without any issues at all alot of them stayed in laureles which is why I choose to book an Airbnb in laureles this time. I'm half your size and will solo travel in a few months, so in the event I realize I'm being followed need to have an escape plan. I was talking to a profile in Medelland that was written in English but I decided to use translation to message her, and a few exchanges of we're both beautiful and she wants dinero from arrangement leads to " Podemos tener sexo" from her. Is this too a red flag?

A profile in English is a huge red flag. Her telling you that you can have sex is another red flag.

You can't just ship most of them to the states. A visa is required. Bringing one, if you find one with a visa, will almost certainly be more expensive than going to Colombia and doing the 3 F (find'them, fuck'them and forget'them). However, it's also a lot of fun introducing them to new things. Flannel pajamas, bread and butter pickles, Waffle House, going to the ballpark for a baseball game, Disney World, ice skating, or just sitting in a semi-rural area and watching the ducks and squirrels will put a smile on their face. Of course, there's always a risk that you'll come home to find she bought 6 jars of peanut butter, or finished off the half gallon of gourmet ice cream.

I haven't seen any advantage to actually marrying one.

I am trying to decide between two AirBNB's. Both are roughly the same price and offer the same comforts. The only difference is one is about 1/4 of a mile from Lleras Park and restaurants and shops etc but has no AC. The other is about double the distance from Lleras and doesn't seem to have shops or restaurants or much around it but it has AC. For the sake of this question, I hate being hot. Should I go with the closer one and chance the fact it had no AC or go with the other?

Temperature at night drops down to low 60's. Sunset is about 6 pm. Except for a few hours in the afternoon, on a really hot day, I've rarely felt the need for anything more than a fan. There's usually a decent late afternoon breeze keeping it tolerable. Humidity usually isn't bad, unless you're from a high desert area.

However, some guys can't handle being without air conditioning.

Specifically referring to Seeking Arrangements advice or other online dating platforms like Colombian cupid, how do you stay in touch if you don't currently have a local phone number through what'sapp (if its important as referenced earlier)? I have a SA premium account, location is USA, and would hit up the girls now even though trip is 3 months away to get a heads start unless I should wait.

Again this was another situation where ID change home location to Medellin but likely on a different account to keep my identity seperate (sort of falsifying age and how rich I appear to catfish, I know bad American culture, but everyone wins since they're getting paid).

Add to that, you're already paying $100+ monthly on SA, double that if you add a new account. Saving $15 doesn't really seem like a priority.

Guys go out of their way to get a local sim card because it's cheaper unless you have TMobile.

Just be the real you. If the girl thinks you're younger, more attractive and wealthier it's going to change the way she responds when she meets you. If she's expecting Brad Pitt and she gets Ernest Borgnine, she'll be less willing to put forth her best efforts. However, if she knows up front she's meeting some old gringo, she won't be disappointed.
