Is this too a red flag?

The only difference is one is about 1/4 of a mile from Lleras Park and restaurants and shops etc but has no AC. Take the AC. It's true that it doesn't get very hot in Medellin. After all, it's called the City of Eternal Spring. Open the window and circulate the air and you'll be just fine. However, open the window 1/4 mile from Parque Lleras and you'd better be a heavy sleeper because of the noise.

Specifically referring to Seeking Arrangements advice or other online dating platforms like Colombian cupid, how do you stay in touch if you don't currently have a local phone number through what'sapp (if its important as referenced earlier)? I have a SA premium account, location is USA, and would hit up the girls now even though trip is 3 months away to get a heads start unless I should wait.

Again this was another situation where ID change home location to Medellin but likely on a different account to keep my identity seperate (sort of falsifying age and how rich I appear to catfish, I know bad American culture, but everyone wins since they're getting paid).

Gringo can be any foreigner basically. They don't care much what you look like, but generally if they know you're from somewhere outside you may be asked for more than they would for informed locals. Actually, you will be asked for more. I wouldn't worry about phone numbers, etc. They will know anyway. And if you managed to fool them by using a local number or whatever they would know as soon as you met them, and you will probably need to pay a bit more. Just accept it. Because otherwise you will just have confrontation and trouble. Negotiate, yes, and you will get into a reasonable ballpark, but don't expect to get the price that a local would get on the streets in centro.

You trying to appear rich is just going to make them expect more money. There is no head start or needing to stay in touch with hookers. Who you contact today may be on the other side of the world in 3 months. 2 or 3 days before is as soon as you need to contact them. Do not waste people's time. You do not need a local phone number. The number I contact hookers through is my US google voice whatsapp.

I've never felt the need for AC in Medellíand. Check the weather for your time of visit and you might not either. That city is a lot wetter than it is hot.

Why lie? If you don't speak Spanish, it'd be impossible to convince them you live in or are from Colombia. Even if you did speak Spanish, they'd figure out pretty quickly that you weren't from there.

OTOH, I would tell them you're in town for a while even if you're not. If they think you'll be there a few weeks, they are more likely to give you good service, hoping that you'll repeat.

And never deal in or discuss USD with the girls. If a chica even brings a dollars with me, I generally say goodbye because she's treating me like a fool right off the bat.

Take the one with the AC, you don't want to be that close to LLeras. You are taking taxi's most of the time anyway so what does an extra 5 min in a taxi mean. You ususally do not need AC in Medellin however we are having a particually hot season so it might suit you well.

Travelling to Medellin next week and wondering if I can purchase some kind of a mobile hotspot device? I have an iphone with verizon international travelpass, but I don't think the hotspot / tethering works when travelling internationally. Will rather prefer to get a local wifi device or some kind of a pocket mifi device. How can I get one in Medellin at the airport or say in poblado area somewhere?

Context: I will be working as well when travelling for this mini vacation fun. Hence, need a strong wifi and don't want to depend only on the hotel wifi (I will be going to guatape as well, and have heard most hotels don't have decent wifi there). Hence, need a backup wifi device.

If I visit Colombia, it'll be as a dark skinned individual with zero spanish skill. This should be obvious that I'm not from the area, but do you think when it comes to Seeking Arrangement, Tinder, and the other online dating sites, I'd be better off lying that I live in and am from Colombia, or admit that I'm American, which may end up quoting in USD and other upcharges?

You are of course right. The thing is some of these guys really can't help themselves. It's a sort of self destructive addiction. The urges overtake critical thinking and reasoning and, well, the rest is history.

This is just plain DUMB DUMB DUMB no matter which country it's in whether in Colombia, somewhere in Asia or even back in our home countries. There are more than enough women of legal age for us to enjoy. Leave the underage alone!

The viewing fee is not enforced for regular customers. I am in favor of it because the hordes of weekend warrior lookie lou were starting to interfere with the sacas' business. It's not a big burden to buy a beer or soft drink.

It's worth mentioning that in Colombian Spanish the word penthouse doesn't mean the same thing it means in English. In Colombia it means an upper floor apartment, not necessarily the top floor and not necessarily even a high floor.

It is actually pretty much the same in English. In a hotel that I stay in in Las Vegas the top 4 or 5 floors are labeled PH. When you go to the rooms on those floors they are the exact same as the rooms on every other floor.
