    Thanks! I'll check it out.

I agree, it does, and I do have some past experience with street criminals and football hooligans in 'european and safe' cities as well, but that was my first serious encounter in Medellin and took me by surprise.

Provided he doesn't run faster than me or trips me up (not great falling on concrete), remember, he was next to me, and looked quite strong and healthy. In retrospect he turned to be somewhat shy in front of other people and didn't seem to want to make a scene so it might've worked.

Still processing but in general to be careful where I walk alone, don't take unnecessary risks and be more cold towards 'friendly strangers' (though I'm not overly friendly already but usually do respond with something while continuing walking, even if it's a simple 'no, gracias') Would it help here if ignored the guy and didn't say a word? Probably.

I already knew to avoid empty streets and turned back several times in the past when didn't like the vibe of the place, I should've turn around this time as well but I was so close to the civilization (and I was mostly part of the crowd on the way) it seemed unnecessary.

Knowing Spanish would definitely come in handy as well (new additions to my vocabulary: ludron, ayuda, hijo de puta, vete a la mierda).

Having some means of defending oneself like a pepper spray could be good too, if all else fails (but one better know how to use it and not fumble, otherwise the tools might end up in the attacker's hands).

Best not to carry a backpack if not necessary nor many valuables, a bit difficult not to carry the apartment keys / card and the phone though. Yes, it was a cheap phone and I have 3 more as backups but it would've still caused me some hassle to replace and loose the stuff in there (plus fuck that guy, you are not getting my phone asshole). In a prefect word it would be best to carry a 'true' burner that one doesn't give a damn about loosing.

I didn't carry much cash and left the ATM card at home. There wasn't anything valuable in backpack either, but still, it was more of a principle of the thing at that point not the cash value and I seriously doubt he'd be satisfied with just a backpack anyway if I'd give in to the demands.

Also, it would've been a good idea to carry some backup cash hidden somewhere. Because if he'd rob me blind, I'd be in very dire situation without any cash, phone, apartment keys and very basic Spanish skills. I do have money belt but of course didn't wear it this time (a sock would do too though). Second set of apartment keys would be good as well.

Going to guess that the op read the forum here, looked at the pics then decided Medellin is a regular mongering destination just a tad sketch, cruise around the city and things will be fine.

And if in trouble surely a local will be happy to assist.

Letting any stranger chat you up, touch, grab and repeatedly follow then request assets is a sign of inexperience and / or western thinking that as long as there is an embassy of my country around things will be aight.

"close enough to grab close enough to stab".

Even advanced mongers growing up in hoodsville USA don't have a snowballs chance against determined paisa muggers LOL.

Not that those would help if I'd meet a professional (I'd be probably hit in the head before I could realise what's even happening and all the stuff gone). I was lucky the guy didn't pull out anything and wasn't very fast and decisive.

It would be good to have an expandable pocket baton or a pepper spray for such 'occasions'. Not that those would help if I'd meet a professional (I'd be probably hit in the head before I could realise what's even happening and all the stuff gone). When you are in a major metropolitan area in the middle of the day and you find yourself on an isolated street you have to get the fuck back to civilization as soon as possible.

This sort of area is known by security and law enforcement people as "no go zones. " It's a very reliable rule of thumb that there is safety in numbers.

A deserted area in an otherwise densely populated area is a major red flag. Next time, take the bus.

I decided to check out Plaza Minorista around lunch time. Followed Avenida de Greiff. Starting from Plazuela Franciso Antonio Zea the area gets rough, full of trash, and lots of homeless people, some even camping in tents, all like that right up until the roundabout next to Plaza Minorista.

I didn't want to walk back the same way so went looking for a safer route. I knew the general direction towards which I should be going and just followed the crowd from Plaza Minorista, bunch of home supplies shops around, tiles, chairs etc. Relatively clean and no homeless. About two blocks from Plaza Botero a guy started walking next to me and struck up a conversation. Where am I from etc. He started in Spanish then switched to botched English. We exchanged couple friendly words, names, handshake, he said "Welcome to Colombia" and split to the right. I continue walking.

There was a short and empty street. I noticed the guy is back walking alongside me, he waved and came close. He put his arm around my neck to give me friendly 'hug', more like a strong squeeze. I jiggled out of it and continued walking. He asked for money with no so friendly look now. OK so it's like that then, I better get the fuck out of this situation ASAP. I stalled to buy some time and eventually gave him some 2's I keep loose in my pocket and picked up my pace, hoping he'll piss off. He wasn't satisfied. He started pointing to a wallet in my pocket. I decidedly said no. He tried to take off my backpack, but I didn't allow him, pushing his hands back on couple attempts. Some random guy carrying big black trash bag walked nearby curiously observing the scene, he didn't look homeless just like a local (the would be robber too BTW, he wasn't wearing rugs just normal clothes and a cap)..

    Centro danger

This is why Medallo will never become Pattaya or the Philippine's. It can still be very dangerous, especially to the major mongering demographic (40+, white, westerners).

It will only get worse as the economic situation worsens and people get more desperate.

Keep your eyes peeled and leave the phones and jewelry at home. Stay safe.

Fuck. If he had a knife or decide to hit me in the face I'd be probably done for, since he was stronger than me. Clearly he wasn't prepared or too sure of himself but saw an opportunity. I don't dress fancy; sneakers, blue jeans, simple t-shirt and no jewellery nor a watch, but there is no mistaking me for a local either.

I was very close to the safer and more crowded area at this point ('almost there') and calling an Uber didn't occur to me. Finding a shop and waiting inside for an Uber is definitely a good idea and good way to go about it though, especially that many of the shops have cameras which should serve as additional deterrent.

    12th of August.

Casa: calle 50#77 a-11 / nice and clean place, room with shower.

Girl: Giyi (Mahidevran), 21 yo, Colombian, small (1 m58) blanca with nice firm small boobs, nice ass, cintura pequeña, cute face (IMO) without the piercings that day and with brackets, blue hair, smiling, nice soft skin, some tattoos. She looks like the photos, her face is definitely better. No kids.

Photos: mileroticos "HOLA SOY GIYI. AMANTE APASIONADA 21 AÑOS" and photoprepagos "Giyi, amante, apasionada, ardiente, joven why fantasiosa".

Reviews: on catadorcolombia Giyi 301457 XXXX (4 different ones).

    Damage: 140 k /1 hour + 50 k oral natural. (She also does 100 k / half an hour and 40 k / para bajar (no anal.).

Session: she welcomed me at the door of the casa in black underwear and high heels shoes, seemed shy but smiling a lot. I followed her small ass to the room. I paid for the session and went for a quick shower. She came back to the room with my change. She offered a massage while getting naked. Sensual and soft massage, both sides of my body, skin to skin. She went for the BBBJ, slow with eye contact. She came to lie down next to me and we kissed, no DFK (I tried) but I sucked on those lips while fondling her petite body. I massaged her clit for a while still kissing and she got wet. She went back to blow me and put the condom on. She went on me girl on top and began to move nicely, moaning softly. I could not stop fondling and sucking her breast. We went on in missionary, slow and deep. She is tight. She was looking for my lips now (still no DFK though), moaning a lot softly, her hands all over my body. We continued with doggy from slow to hard, going deep. I was close to come and decided to go back to missionary. I came in this position with more kissing. There was still 10 minutes to go that we spent talking, my hands gently fondling her body. Sweet.

Girl attitude: sweet petite GFE neña (except for the DFK, smooth and wet kissing the whole session though). Very compliant, sort of submissive.

There are no universals just varied kinks and your connection

I've met girls with boob jobs including the one I mentioned who loved to have their nipples sucked and boobs played with and kissed. It comes down to the girl's personal kinks and your connection with her. What someone likes or dislikes sexually is not a logical thing. To give a good example I asked a nonpro I met this last trip if she'd let me cum in her mouth and she told me "gas no me gusta tomar leche en la boca" (yuck I don't like to have cum in my mouth). The funny part was that unasked she immediately proceeded to give me a rimjob and play with my ass until I came. The assplay especially isn't really my thing, but it definitely was hers as it was a recurring theme when I saw her the next time. So for her a guys cum in the mouth is disgusting but eating and massaging a guy's ass is a turn on. In contrast, another one of my amigas would be insulted if she didn't swallow my load or I didn't cum on her face. The fun for me is when you establish a good connection with them and find out what makes them sexually tick.

You may be right but I'd still skip the backpack going forward. It's also gives them something to grab and try to sling you to the ground by. Thanks for sharing your story and glad you made out okay.
