Back to matters at hand, I am seeing a trend of Venezuelans coming back to Medellin to roost in Plaza Botero. Two of them I've known a couple of years came back after giving birth and realizing that although the economy is improved in Venezuela it hasn't improved enough to support a new mouth to feed. A third one, who was fresh off a four-day bus trip from Caracas, told me they find it easier to get Colombia immigration documents under the "Andino" program. My head is still spinning about the idea of four days on a cramped bus with a months old infant and limited resources to get food.

A few guys felt compelled to diss my mongering that gorgeous one-in-ten-thousand preggo maybe because I entitled the post, "Scored One for the Team" and they want to make sure we all know, they are not on that team, jajajaja. I will remember that if it ever comes time to choose sides, jajajajaja. Maybe with a different title they would have sat on their hands.

Who knows and who cares at this point. As I often do, I flogged that dead horse into dog meat. Time to move on to bigger and better things.

Catgirl, my perennial Numero Uno Novia and the reason I am here and alive, is spending my last two nights in Medellin with me. At the moment, she is out at the building site of our city house in San Cristobal. Compared to our build on the mountaintop three hours north of here, this construction is progressing at lightening speed. We are putting in eleven columns on our hilly lot to make a level foundation. Realistically, when I return for my next trip it could be finished but one never know how that goes. The first story we are building custom, the second floor with be prefab.

I recently took a fellow Asian BM, Pepolesbuddy, out to explore Aranjuez en la 92. He brought his amiga and I had 2 chicas with me. Had dinner first then took a stroll up and down la 92, it's pretty hilly, but manageable. Found a spot that was popping and partied it up till we shut down the place at around 2:30 am. This was a weekday. We were the only gringos / chinos in the barrio that night. He finally got see how RR99 parties, plays, and prowls in Medellin jajajaja. We went our separate ways after, had a great time, and going to hit up Manrique next! Pepolesbuddy, you're a cool dude and I don't say that often about people I meet on this board or anyone in general. But you need to level up to stay up with me man! Hehehe. I kid of course.

Disclaimer: dont go out in the barrios guys, its too dangerous and the chicas are too hot hehehe.

Going to Medellin for the first time next month. I have RTFF about a year's worth of reports and lately continue to follow all posts in this thread. Still, I don't feel prepared. The hotel / AirBnb information is all over the place; it seems hotel / AirBnb is guest friendly on whim so I may have to just book a hotel room for two people and prepare to pay for if I bring two guests at once.

How to keep valuables safe when you bring chicas to the room? I know some hotels provide a safe but by some posts, they don't seem like big enough for a laptop. And if not laptop, what do you use if you need to cast (porno for inspiration? I also read posts about people being mugged so I am worried about walking on the streets with my phone. Without my phone, it would be hard to get around or do anything. Having the phone out and in hand is the obvious thing to do when using it for directions.

Any advice or tips from the seniors on this forum?

We are all here to have fun. I ask you all to take a step back, observe your surroundings, and support the local small vendors in any way you can. Buying them a beer or a drink while they waiting around on you goes a a long way.

Yes, but this is very tricky. If you use 'interesado / a' with ser, it means gold digger. Say you ask me what I think about the woman you are seeing and I say 'Creo que es interesada. ' I think she is a gold digger. But if you use 'interesado / a' with estar, it translates literally to interested. Thus if my reply to your question about your woman was instead 'Creo que est interesada,' I am saying I think she digs you.

So be careful with 'interesado' and watch your verb.

How on earth would anybody anywhere know if your apartment is girl friendly? You never gave the name of where you are staying. Maybe you should ask the person you are renting from as a good starting point.

My target audience is 18-24 yo, and the sweet spot is 22-24 yo, ideally college girls or fresh out of college having a part time job. I like them young, fresh and energetic, without kids, prior marriages, etc. I'm not looking for someone broke as fuck.
