The poster is visiting the same places I visited when I first came to Medellin so I feel some familiarity but I handle things better because I have more experience elsewhere at that point. The poster also never really asked any question so I guessed he did his homework by reading, like me. There are some subtle things he described that you would not even notice make me think what he said has some truth to it.

That's a weird experience.

I was at Botero and Veracruz 2 weeks ago, and didn't find any good talents. Locals told me that good one moved to Poblado and they don't come back. I saw several unattractive gringos hanging around and talking loud there. I talked to a few of them but some of them were pretty odd.

I will check it out again next month but will focus on casas.

I had to know and asked if she was a woman. The deep voice scared me so I was fully prepared to pay for the time and walk away if she turned out to be male. Luckily she was all female but the whole vibe was weird. Inside the room she asked for me to get fully naked before she even took off her own clothes. Had a weird feeling but kept my eyes on my belongings at all times. She placed her belongings directly next to mine which made me wary of my surroundings at all times. After we finished she stayed undressed while I rushed to get dressed and get the heck out of there before who knows what would happen. Once dressed I quickly said bye and rushed out of the room. She said bye and stayed in the room as I walked out of the Botero area as quickly as I could while looking behind me several times.

Very weird experience and I will be more cautious from now on. Have been with about 7 different Botero girls so far and was here last November but this experience made me feel concerned. I will continue to come to Botero for my remaining time here but I will be more cautious than I have been.

If you are on Wi-Fi, your router will use the same public IP for everyone connecting from your home. It is reasonable to think that FB traces and store this info. If you access from your smartphone, and disable Wi-Fi, then your communicated IP is the one dynamically assigned by your mobile provider, and it is different from the previous.

Finally, do not forget about cookies. They are small files created by your browser following requests from the web page (FB). Those files can contain many info as well as the username you used in the previous connections. There is a reason why cookies are under the lens of privacy protection.

Do not use shared PC with other in your family, and if you do, remember to clear History and cookies. Even if you do that, as long as you all share the same IP, someone else in your home could receive ads about sex toys, Viagra and other funny things.

For an higher privacy when working at your home PC, enable you phone Personal Hot Spot, and connect your PC to it when you do not want to share your home IP, end, once finished, remember to disable the hot spot, delete browser history and cookies.

I've tried doing fake FB account on my ordinary computer and I instantly get my ordinary life friends and family as friend suggestions. Recently I bought a cheap smartphone and a temporary SIM card (I'm going to use that phone when I go to Medellin mid July). I set up a new google account with a fake name. I set up a new FB account with that name. My plan is to never connect it to my home WiFi or any WiFi that my ordinary phone or computer is connected to.

After the set up of the phone it needed an update of android. After the update the phone reverted to an "auto connect to WiFi" mode without me knowing. I noticed it after maybe 5 minutes and turned WiFi off. Still in those 5 minutes connected through the same IP-adress I got my ordinary life friends and family as friend suggestions on FB.

I started to seek girls from Medellin to add to my friend list. After maybe 3 requests I got a warning that I did not know the person and I held up adding for a day or two. For each try I could add more girls. Now 3 weeks later I have 150 friends in Medellin. I typically get 5 request a day and can add 25 each day. Naturally there is a % that will not have me as friend. I'm also anticipating a vast number of no replies when I start communicating. But still if 10 % will want to meet me I will be satisfied.

Plan to keep on. (the July visit will be my first in Colombia and I'll stay for 2,5 weeks).

Highly unlikely because the girl was walking up the stairs and then down the stairs. So if she had walked down the stairs and saw whomever, they would know what she is doing.

A more plausible explanation would be to see if someone, like an accomplice / thief of the girl saw what might of been a potential target after the deed was done.

"Dust" is not a good English translation in this usage. You likely know polvo also has the connotation of "shot" as in a firearm, or in context of an orgasm,"shot" as in "money shot". Another similar meaning of "polvo" is "powder" as in "gunpowder," which also of course related to a firearm.

There is also the word "pelusa" which has the English meaning of "lint," "fluff. ".

It's not correct Spanish and does not make sense. If he means per finish, it should be 'por leche'; 'ms leche' would translate as 'more semen'. Maybe he wanted to say multiple pops. Also in my part of the world 'leche' is semen but orgasms are 'polvos'; I don't remember if they use 'polvo' in Colombia. It's a bit of an odd piece of slang to use for an orgasm, since it translates as 'dust. '

That actually makes total sense. By OP's description of her behavior I expected that the end of the story would be him getting robbed. When that didn't happen it was puzzling what motivated her weirdness but that is a good explanation. However, she was also weird in the room requiring that he get undressed first. My guess is that she was a newbie and it sounds like OP might be somewhat of a newbie (at least with Colombia street girls) so maybe that created some awkwardness / nervousness in her. Most of my experience is on SA in the US (I know very different scenario than street SW but human psychology is universal) and I know that there was a bit of awkwardness in my early days that eventually went away and then things got much easier because the girl would just follow my lead.

Thanks for the Eros and Loutron reviews. I'll be in MDE for a couple weeks in a few days and plan on trying out Loutron. But I also like it a bit grotty so my try some of the lower end stuff (Eros) as well. I was there last summer for a couple weeks but limited my mongering to Lleras, planning on expanding my horizons a bit this time.

FYI, Gustos is not a strip club. It is a club known by higher end freelancers go to hook up with gringos who unknowingly pay WAY too much. One of the few things that the mongers on this forum seem to agree on is that gusto girls are for suckers, or at least guys who are completely indifferent to price.

Isla on the other hand is a strip club, another place I will try out this time. My understanding is that it basically is a strip club / casa where you can take a dancer to a room in their building. Not sure about a sportsbar / strip club as you described, there are a couple places in Poblado / Lleras that I would describe as sportsbars, one is an Irish pub and the other is on Calle Diez near Provenza. But I don't think either of them are places where pros tend to congregate.

Typically what I do in Centro when I go with a new girl, or any of my girls in Centro, I never walk with them to the Hotel.
