This post is long overdue. Thanks to all of you who helped make my trip to Medellin wonderful.

To recap I was in Medellin Sunday Thursday 5 AM.

About 45 days prior to my trip I began friending & chatting with girls via facebook. What I can tell you is that you need to be very careful on who you friend and how many random friend requests and or messages you send. If you send too many of either your ability to send requests and or messages will be temporarily suspended. As for time its been suspended that I have no idea what the facebook algorithm is to determine that.

If you do not know how to go about it look for La IsLa Medellin on facebook and go thru there friends list. Only contact girls who have been active within the past 2 weeks. Any girl that has not been active your chances of being accepted are very slim.

I would categorize the facebook girls in Medellin either as Prepago's, Students or Paisa's. It's really weird but many girls when I contacted them via facebook they say they are not a prepago. I rebutted that and said I am not looking for a Prepago but to meet new friends. Once they hear that the regular girls tend to let their guard down. The really really hot ones are Prepago's aka Prepaid. They are the girls that are professional in my opinion and ask for 250 MIL COP to 400 Mil COP girls. There are many options to send money, either to a bank account or for cash pickup. However, many girls don't have a bank account and you'll need to send cash before she arrives or you'll have a problem when you try to explain how she can pickup the money later.

One of the options for sending money for cash pick up to Colombians if your in Colombia is to send money from a Gana or Sefecty office, and they are all over the place.

To do this this, the Colombian needs to have a Cedula, and all you need is their Cedula number, and which department they are located in at the time of the transfer.

When going to Gana or Sefecty to do this though, a foreigner will need to have their Passport with them to send money, and the Colombian, or a foreigner with a Cedula will have to have their Cedula with them to make the transaction.

In the Gana or Sefecty office, they will confirm the name of the person to get the money as their Cedula number will come up in the system along with the senders information.

And there is a charge for doing this, and is only something that can be done in Colombia.

Probably the easiest way to send cash for pick up to anyone which can be done from anywhere is thru Western Union, however it will be expensive as they will charge a fee and use a very low exchange rate, so the more you send, the more they hose you.

Lots of new faces in Parque Illeras, at least new to me. Prices quoted were anywhere from 200 k-400 k per hour. A random vennie quoted me 600 k that had been here for a month, not sure who is paying those prices. Went out to centro for an afternoon delight, still quite a few chicas out even on a holiday. Most have a Bancolombia savings account (ahorros) to which you can send money. We won't get into why. Your money your choice.

The ATM's at the banks are whack. So many of them charge a conversion fee and an additional service charge just to use the ATM's. You need to check multiple ATM's to avoid paying the conversion fee.
