Except it is very easy to live there and hardly ever see another gringo. It is overrun if you only go to the 5 percent of the city where there are gringos. And even there there are lots of times you may be the only one.

I think this idea that gringos have all this influence and are causing all these changes is simply exaggerated.

Why keep thieves in business by buying their goods? Your phone or whatever could be up for sale soon too. Just buy a cheap one from a real store or buy second hand in USA. You can get a decent older used iPhone that does all you need for $100 online at home if you are in USA.

If the original poster is concerned about being scoped and / or robbed by a Facebook girl, I would in fact recommend my method of having the Facebook girl meet him at parque berrio metro station and then take her to hotel botero real.

That way he can leave his personal belongings back at his main hotel or Airbnb and only bring his burner phone and enough cash to pay the Chica and the pieza and there is nothing extra that can be stolen from him as all his other stuff is back safe at the other place.

Also don't drink anything tell her it's sex for money there is no fucking beer involved LOL. If she wants the money she will understand and if not then that means she was up to no good. Pretty simple process.

John Gault mentioned Bar Madrid. You can just google that or google Bar Monaco if Bar Madrid does not come up. It is on the opposite side of the street toward Botero Plaza. It's a very local place so not ideal for someone that does not know the area.

I don't think what's being reported is universally true. That price does not make sense in general for the type of customers that visit the area. Besides, Mr E reported before, the girls that he talked to do not go with customer to have sex so it will depend on the girl. I am not saying the report is inaccurate but I won't generalize it. My last visit was NYE after midnight and my data expired so I had to call a taxi which was difficult there at that hour and I made a report on that

Look around in the streets in the back of of Nutibara, probably Calle 53. There ae official stores there where you can buy new ones cheap with one year warranty.

The stolen phone stands are toward Prado station on the side walk of the street near the metro route.

Overrun is a strong word unless we don't consider areas other than Poblado, Laureles, north Sabaneta, Envigado, and New Life. When I am in those parts of town the difference from the rest of the city (which is almost all of the city) is very jarring.

In my experience a lot of the street girls will do BBFS CIP for 80 mil to 100 mil. Granted these aren't your top notch looking women LOL. I've gotten it as low as 40 mil from a candy girl but the quality (looks-wise not necessarily servicio wise) drops off considerably when seeking sub-80 mil BBFS.

I just went to monger in plaza botero this morning. After hopping off the bus in the prado centro area where they sell stuff on the ground under the metro, I walked across the street and directly into the Plaza and straight down to the church without any checkpoint to walk through.

Theres girls around the water fountains again and sitting on the brick work of the church. The area feels more open and free again like how it always used to be pre-2023.

As far as you sissy boys who say it was better with the barriers you can still go hide behind the barriers in parque lleras. Maybe that will be your new safe place since plaza botero is no longer safe for you guys unless if you've got some real cajones LOL.
