I have been talking about the bar scene in that area for quite some time. I have never taken one from the bar as I just like to dance with these girls. A drink for them or you is 6 K. I have been in most of them and Bar Madrid is the best one.

There are 2 different categories of short time hotels. In the first are the short time hotels, mostly in El Centro, where you would take street girls. You're unlikely to find any security there. You also won't be taking any Facebook girls to any of those places.

If the original poster is concerned about being scoped and / or robbed by a Facebook girl, I would in fact recommend my method of having the Facebook girl meet him at parque berrio metro station and then take her to hotel botero real.

That way he can leave his personal belongings back at his main hotel or Airbnb and only bring his burner phone and enough cash to pay the Chica and the pieza and there is nothing extra that can be stolen from him as all his other stuff is back safe at the other place.

In fact that is alot safer than bringing them to your actual place where you live or stay at.

I think Medellin is a beautiful city and still a gem but clearly there are better spots that are less tense. I stopped few buddies that were on their way to visit, I asked them to slightly increase their budget and meet in BRA instead LOL.

I was in Rio not that long ago. People rave that the beaches in Copacabana and Ipanema are the best in the world. There are upwards of 40 million people living within 100 miles. You think they will vote / mention there favorite spots? Yep but it does not make it so. Outside Rio there are much nicer beaches. IMHO I lived in Baja for 6 years. Beaches there are nice compared to the desert here in Las Vegas. When I finally made it to Colombia. It was, still is beyond comparison to Tijuana. Only the drunken debauchery and memories in Tijuana can compare. But alas the reality of "the way it was" is a lot different then those fond select memories and. Things have changed. SAVE your memories, don't pollute them by returning to disappointment. LOL Enjoy Medellin & all of Colombia.

Your words really struck me, enough to change my flights. LOL. I was going to visit Tijuana but it was all about the nostalgia. While Medellin does not have a Hong Kong, it's also true that HK is not what it once was. And when I thought about it, there's not even one aspect where Tijuana beats Medellin. So I changed my flights and even added a few days extra hahaha but my entire trip will be in MDE.

Going through the forum but hoping for guidance. Thinking of my 1st MDE trip, flights are $300's while my other targets BOG, CAR, Tijuana, Brazil, western Euro are all $800 up to $1600 so I'd rather spend the difference on girls.

Suggestions on a simple 3-4 day. I had awesome times in Bogota & Cartagena. Found girl friendly hotels close to the clubs and were modern enough, safe. I'm too lazy to do the Facebook scene and staying short time only.

Any recs on where to stay that's close to the clubs, while modern, "safe, & girl friendly?

My plan would be to go to the clubs the first night. Have 2 or 3 girls separately. And then repeat them during the day time, adding more on following nights.

Whats current ask price? I was able to get 300-400 K in CAR clubs per 45 min, 150 K in SF clubs for 20 min.

Final update before I left Medellin last Friday

En El Centro right in front of Hilton Grill club, and in both sides of that entire street, I discovered that all those bars have "bar girls". When you walk and pass by after 5-6 p you will see 5-10 girls in each bar sitting alone waiting for men. These girls are independent, cleaner chicas working, and even with my extensive experience in mde I never knew that. But I guess since I gave up on tinder and avoiding danger with online setups I started searching for more bars and in person interactions. So I spoke w some of those girls, and I was quoted 35 k bar take out fee, plus the girls could charge 150-200 k / HR, or more / less depending on her. I even asked why not 50 k like the street girls. They laughed and said most only date 1 guy or none for the night, they don't walk the street. The pretty street girls would bang 5-10 dudes a day, and it's rushed. In the bars, you get to sit in a clean environment, drink, converse, dance, and it was so worth it. I've seen many 7-9's, no seriously, def can compete with Lleras chicas, all dressed up and I think 150-200 k is fair plus seeing new fresh faces was quite a relief in that area.

Final update before I left Medellin last Fri.

Since I stayed close to 5 Months, I confirmed w / the inmigracióand officer at the airport upon departure if I can return to complete the remainder of my visa in few days and they said no prob. Made it to Miami this week and extended / renewd my passport, tomorrow heading to BOG for few weeks, then Brazil. From BOG flights are half the cost to BRA vs FL, plus after so many months in mde it's only fair to go say Hello, to few hunnies in BOG before I leave Colombia for a while.

I know some of you vets already know this, but since most new travelers are concerned with online / app meets due to fear, I figured this would help. We all know El Poblado is expensive and a tourist trap, strip clubs arent for everyone and shady, most don't like the Centro street rats, many of us don't like the casas, so I discovered one addl great option for chicas.

Couple weeks ago one of my old novias tried to set me up, after we broke up and haven't spoken for over a month. She called and said a family member of her was kidnapped by gangs, and wanted me to help. She showed up at my apt ringing the bell without an invite, thankfully I had already moved. Otherwise these hoz must earn every fucking penny. I was so done with hoz that I stopped being over generous like no longer over-tip in restaurants or taxis, if no locals tip I don't tip either LOL. Fuck yall.

When I try to be polite, they think I'm easy till I tell them to fuck off then they get it. So fellas don't be a nice guy or even appear to be one.

Lastly, ran into many pedos, yes some of yall deserve to be scoped and drugged. Right in the middle of botero plaza, the police often have a van that says "proteccióand infantil" / child protection, looking for you dumb mfrs. I bumped at least 3 times into some dudes, having a long 5+ minutes convo with some minors, appears to be so, then they'd either call me to say Hello, with a fist pump / handshake, and obviously first thing I'd do is asking the girls how old are you, 17,16, then fuckers would make a face as if they didn't know. Like if you approach a young girl, first thing you should ask is her age, then maybe even proceed asking for an ID, etc. So why would you be standing there chatting for more than 2 minutes? You walk the fuck away from a minor. It's disgusting and happening in both Lleras and Centro. One old fart past 60 was bragging and dancing on how many young virgins he scored in couple years. As if it's his life's best accomplishment LOL, spend hrs and days hunting them online first. Like my dude most normal men have had those in middle school and high school years bruh. You are late at 60 sir. Like most awkward encounters and losers I come accross during my travels are always sex-deprived men, those who never got married or never had a real GF, doesn't know shit about women, and actually think they're players now paying for sex. Total fucking lunatics.

Nice review! You arrived too early for the action. Mansion bar doesn't get going til after 10 PM and La Isla doesn't get going til midnight.

I knew it would be slow, but it was a convenient place to wait for La Isla to open. I think we left La Isla at 12:30. Cops were set up on Las Palmas just after the driveway. Pulled me in and spent about 2 minutes staring at my license before letting us go.

I'll try to address as many of your questions as possible. Some I can't help much with because I'm no longer searching for new girls in Medellin.

There are pluses and minuses to using Facebook. A big plus is you can fairly quickly find hundreds of potential dates. A big downside is, unless you use a separate device, which has no connections to any of your other accounts, or phone number, the people on your main Facebook account will eventually get some bleed over from your mongering account. I've had a few friends and family members complain about getting friend requests from Colombian girls. Go to the "Links to Reports of Distinction" thread and search for "Facebook" to find some step by step guides. Avoid Tinder.

Your risk of being drugged at a bar or restaurant, when you are alone is very low. I've never hesitated to drink whatever I wanted while out alone. However, when you are with someone, there's always a chance they will slip something in your drink, if you leave it unattended, or are distracted. One strategy is to minimize your drinking, drink slowly, small sips and to always keep your drink within sight and out of easy reach for anyone else. Avoid drinking to excess. If a girl is pushing you to drink that's a red flag. If, while you are setting up the date, the girl mentions drinking, another red flag. You're paying the girl to fuck, not to drink your booze.

Showering with a girl is excellent for foreplay, plus it ensures both of you are fresh and clean. Before the girl arrives you should secure all valuables, leaving out only what you need to pay her. Otherwise, your pants with all your stuff in the pockets, might get left where she can clean you out.

Arrived Saturday night late and stayed in Rionegro to pick up my rental car on Sunday. Was waiting for my ride to the hotel within 20 minutes after the door opened, short line. Learned upon arrival that my luggage took a detour. Finally got it Sunday night.

Had a lunch invitation in Envigado at Restaurante Viejo John, right off the park. Very popular place with a long line waiting for a table. Fortunately, my hosts were already seated. Excellent comida tipica and prices seemed reasonable, although I never saw the check. If you like Colombian food, it's worth a visit.

Monday night was date night. Made the mistake of trying Denver Grill in La Strada. Not worth it. There's a small gas grill in the middle of each table. If you order a steak, you cook it yourself on the grill. So far, not bad, until the 2 ribeyes showed up. Steaks were less than a half inch thick. Convenient for quick grilling, but not worth the 110 k each price tag. Came with 1 small side dish. Food was good, just not much for the price.

Last night I visited La Mayoria in the hills above Envigado. It's a large place which is probably packed on the weekends, although not many people there on Tuesday. Friday through Sunday they have horse shows of various types at the restaurant. I chose what was described as a thick cut sirloin and got a thick cut sirloin that may have been the best steak I've had in Medellin. Service was good and good views. Long ride by taxi, but it's only 12 minutes away from where I'm staying.

Monday night exposed my date to the bar at the Mansion. Only 2 girls there when we arrived, 1 more came in a few minutes later. There were no other customers. Bartender was cute, as were 2 of the 3 girls. The third girl looked pretty rough. Stayed for 1 drink before heading to La Isla. When we left it was only the doorman, the bartender and 1 girl in the bar.

Arrived at La Isla before 10 pm, lots of girls, no customers. They now charge 100 k cover for a girl, 50 k for guys. I'm glad they weren't doing that last year when I took 3 girls. The club slowly filled with customers, although not a big crowd. Two guys were periodically making it rain, which drew almost all the girls. Almost all the customers were gringos. As for the girls, they came in all shapes and sizes. Quite a few with grossly over inflated (to me) tits and asses. Quite a few were all natural. There are always enough options to satisfy most tastes.

Can't help much with lodging, because I'm staying at an apartment in the hills above Envigado, which my hosts had available. I didn't want to stay here, but they insisted. It's free, stocked with plenty of food and wine, in a quiet location, and comfortable, but it's not exactly a convenient location. I've been grabbing breakfast or lunch with friends and have a family barbecue to attend tomorrow night. Leaving on Saturday night on the last flight out.
