5 years ago, most El Centro casas were charging about 45 k for 30 minutes. With the exchange rate just under 3 k, the cost was $15. Now they charge around 55 k, which costs $14. The prices of food, lodging and transportation have all gone up, while the cost of pussy has gone down and you're bitching that paying less is too expensive?

I can remember 10 years ago when it was even more expensive than five years ago for pussy when the exchange rate was closer to 2 K.

It kind of defies logic to think that pussy has actually gotten cheaper over the past decade in Colombia, yet all the other things you mention have gone up.

First post. I'm a veteran of yearly visits to Russia and most other FSU countries but trying Colombia this time around due to the BS going on in Ukraine / Russia border these days. I was planing a trip with two other friends but real life got in the way for all of them, and now I'm on my own. My date are March 2nd to the 9th. I have RTFF, and planning on getting a hotel, deciding between Hotel Leretta in Poblado or Hotel Dorado in LLeras. I have been reading the forum post going back almost a year and hope to try everything from Botero Park to Gusto. Built up a decent FB pipeline already. Overdue trip report from a few months ago, just getting time to finally write down my thoughts.

It's best to start with what type of monger I am and what I look for. I like the GFE experience throughout the entire interaction. In bed, out for dinner, clubbing, shopping etc. El Centro street action is not really suited to my taste. Casas and strip clubs when I'm with friends is a good time. Back to my story I used seeking exclusively for my mongering activities while in Medellin. If you haven't used it before, be prepared for a hell of a lot of work, especially if you don't speak Spanish (I do not) it's going to be infinitely harder for you especially while trying to make a connection on dates. I would say 95% of the girls on seeking do not speak English.

The thing that will come up time and time again in my report is the communication factor its sooo hard to communicate back and forth with google translate, sometimes I just gave up and did some non-verbal communication. Building connections without speaking the language is a very hard thing to do. I am hesitant to return because of this one and only factor. I know. I know. When you exit the airport there are two different busses very close by at the curb that look like this, you want the one that goes to El Centro labeled as shown with the red arrows. You will be dropped off yards from the back of The Nutibara Hotel (The Nutti) in El Centro. The other bus goes to RioNegro, and drops you off at a mall, far from downtown Medellin.

Sometimes the El Centro bus goes thru the tunnel, sometimes it doesn't, don't worry about it. There are people getting off before you get to El Centro, it will be obvious when you get to the final stop downtown. You will pass a nice city park on your right (Parque Simon Bolivar) when you are close, a few blocks away.

You pay as you exit the bus, the price is now 13 mil COP, (13.000 Colombian pesos, yes they use periods instead of commas). That's two price increases since I started riding the bus in 2019. You don't need exact change but get as close as possible. If you hand the bus driver 15 mil COP, that's like a 50 cent USD tip, if that doesn't bust your budget. Tips are generally not expected in Colombia. For comparison, a taxi will cost you 80-90 mil COP depending on exactly where you are headed in Medellin.

As you step off the bus look across the street and to your left for this restaurant, La Raza. While I was there La Raza was open very late, after the last bus of the day. BTW, the food in there is good, pricey by Colombian standards. Chicas love the place.

The Raza is the back entrance to "The Nutti. " You used to be able to walk into the reception area directly thru The Raza but they put a card key lock on the door right before you get to the hotel lobby. Your room key will work it, but obviously you need to check in first. Pearl: There is a BanColombia ATM tucked to your right as you stand at the door to get into the lobby. There is often a line of people waiting to use it but that ATM is open when almost all others nearby are closed. For example, with your room key you can use that ATM at 4 AM in the morning if you so choose when there is no line. 600 mil COP max withdrawal, but I have done two back to back and four in one 24 hour period with no problem.

You can catch the eye of the bellboy and he will let you in to the lobby or walk to your left past the food court around the bar and exit where I circled in the last foto, and you will come out in the front of The Nutti with the main entrance close to your right, up the ramp..

All I have to say is, I am so sad to be home. I am sitting at my house now and just thinking about Medellin. Looking at how much I have invested thinking man I could live there for 30 years off my savings and enjoy my 30's and 40's way more.

Little background, I made a few reports, but to anyone that doesn't know me. I'm 35 Italian in NY area, lots of tats, and love Spanish women. First time to MDE and every day reading few pages and its really delightful to read few members reports.

Well I am not a hardcore monger but occasional sessions with GFE is appreciated during the travel.

I used to be a huge fan of La Isla. $100 USD for a 10. Not so much anymore. A sad mix of crap girls, a few lookers with attitude and hustlers they never had before. Sad!
