Maria has been my FB friend since December and she even shared me her whatsapp number in December. Tonight they did ask for ID but that doesn't necessarily mean I would have been cock-blocked if they weren't able to show their ID's. Just some information about Hotel Deseo's for others to know. It costs' 18,000 COP for three hours, and the majority of the rooms have mirrors on the ceiling. More and more short time Hotels in Centro are asking for Cedulas it seems like. I was at the Zona Rosa Hotel yesterday, and they had posted a sign that you needed to show a Cedula, yet they never asked for them.

Lots of times it's totally hit and miss, and on some occasions, at the Premium Plaza they've played hardball requiring ID's, and other times not at all.

All depends on whose is at the front desk, and how young looking the girls are that you bring in.

My comparison is probably not an apples to apples comparison as I've met several normal girls while working in the countryside in Northern Central America. I called Minsalud and they are not really aware that a PCR test can stay positive for months; but they agree that a negative antigene test, a medical clearance, and 14 days after the beginning of symptoms will will be enough to get entry as long as I don't have symptoms. They just follow the WHO recommendations I think. I took the name of the lady who talked to me.

Going to Medellin for the first time and want to be as prepared as possible to maximize the trip. Have a lot of other things planned but was curious about the best way to achieve the following as painless as possible. Please PM if you prefer.

If you test positive for antigen test in Colombia, What I hear is that the person has to quarantine for 10 days before he can travel to USA. If you staying at a hotel, do you have to notify the hotel that you are positive and do hotel kick you out or charge you more? Is it way to get another hotel, and since you have to inform it too that you are covid positive, do they refuse or charge more?

BTW I am not covid positive but I am planning to visit Medellin soon and may have to deal with a scenario if I catch the virus.

I was positive for covid a week ago and I am waiting for the result of my new test.

I am not symptomatic anymore, and I would like to reschedule another flight to Colombia ASAP.

However on the check mig site it asks: " were you sick within 14 days?" and then "were you diagnosed with covid within 14 days?

I called american airlines and researched on the internet but did not find an answer.
