My comparison is probably not an apples to apples comparison as I've met several normal girls while working in the countryside in Northern Central America. I called Minsalud and they are not really aware that a PCR test can stay positive for months; but they agree that a negative antigene test, a medical clearance, and 14 days after the beginning of symptoms will will be enough to get entry as long as I don't have symptoms. They just follow the WHO recommendations I think. I took the name of the lady who talked to me.

Going to Medellin for the first time and want to be as prepared as possible to maximize the trip. Have a lot of other things planned but was curious about the best way to achieve the following as painless as possible. Please PM if you prefer.

If you test positive for antigen test in Colombia, What I hear is that the person has to quarantine for 10 days before he can travel to USA. If you staying at a hotel, do you have to notify the hotel that you are positive and do hotel kick you out or charge you more? Is it way to get another hotel, and since you have to inform it too that you are covid positive, do they refuse or charge more?

BTW I am not covid positive but I am planning to visit Medellin soon and may have to deal with a scenario if I catch the virus.

I was positive for covid a week ago and I am waiting for the result of my new test.

I am not symptomatic anymore, and I would like to reschedule another flight to Colombia ASAP.

I think there is also more of an expectation in terms of gender norms that men pay for things in Colombia and most Latin Countries (even more than in the US). Thus it's a sign of interest that a man helps out with things. So that weirdly works hand in hand with these needs and helps the girls justify asking for help for sex. Now the special sauce that makes Colombia different in comparison to the many other Latin countries I've visited are the liberal attitudes about sex.
