The main shopping street South of Parque Berrio (Bolivar?) has thousands of pedestrian during day time. Are shops open, people walking after sundown?
Have written this at least half a dozen times here. Mercado de La Playa is safe and enjoyable at night. Its an open plan dining mall, with lots of restaurants and bars.
There are no shops open after 9 . Even the Uno closes by then.

Same here. It would be great if someone can provide valuable hints on how to connect with girls from Medellin on Facebook. Also, has anyone here used Vane's service?

Everyone has their fetish. Glue Sniffer Girl might be one of them. Some of you know who I am referring to. I know a guy that is always with her. I know another guy that was robbed by her. Drunks, well if that's your thing.
Their are a few out that late that neither homeless. Drugged out, alcoholics or glue sniffers. It might take some hunting but they are there. Trust me, I know. I also am living in that area so.
Yea, I know about the girl that lifts her skirt and slaps her pussy. JAJAJA. Its funny once or twice, but gets old after that.
There is the Pollo Express and It closes at nine. There is another next to it. Also the restaurant on the corner from bar street. , on that street in fact, as well as street food. Also restaurants near the metro

Lugnut, I am there almost everyday and never seen or heard anything like that ever happening, and yea I go there at night too, after 8. There are some lookers out at that hour, but not as many. I usually end up there for the drinks and sitting on the bench with the other gringos. Drinks are cheaper in that area.
We might even ran into each other and not even know it.
If it happens to you or anyone else just yell LATRON LATRON and see what happens. Cops want to keep that place safe for the tourists and it has changed since my first or even my last visit here. Its unusual to hear your story, but you have my sympathies.
"Ladrón" might work better.

The sniffers are the best. Zombies.

After dark, and later into evenings your going to have an assortment of glue sniffer's, druggies, drunks, homeless people, zombies, and suspect providers prowling around, which truly is the "cream of the crop" of Centro. LOL.

Now the interesting thing about Facebook as others have stated is that it starts to take a life of its own after you get a critical mass and its the girls that start contacting you that are the interesting ones. In my case, some are not prepagos and others are semi-pros or what ID call prepagos in denial.
As I'm writing this I just had one date with what turned out to be a prepago in denial. And have the next two days booked with other girls that have not mentioned a price at all.
I'll call my date tonight see. She's tall, thin with small breasts, a shapely butt and has a pleasant paisa face. She' told me she was 19. When I talked with her over whatsapp to set up the date, I asked her "necessitas dinero por el taxi o alyo mas" as a discreet way to see if she'd quote me a price. She asks me "que mas?" and luckily I remembered she had a daughter and told her for the babysitter. Anyway she arrived and we went to get hotdogs nearby (her idea) for 12 k including drinks, which we ate at the apartment. We then talked for a while. The sex was 120% GFE for all the good and bad of that term. She had me going down on her for half an hour and said she came 3 times. As far as the sex she couldn't hear of using a condom because she had an iud. Believe me I tried to insist but ended up giving in. She liked to get reamed hard was scratching and screaming up a storm. We had sex both in the bed and standing in the shower. But the bad part of the GFE equation was that she was not into blowing me. She did for a while but it was unenthusiastic and she told me she wasn't in to it. In sum though I had one of those classic paisa experiences that a number of you have written about.

One night I was approached by three guys while the police was still present. One spoke English to me trying to be friendly. I let him got close and he proceeded to pick my pocket. He was not afraid of being caught. I got away and put some distance between him and me then they left. I know they are not from El Centro because I was there all the time. I never saw them before or after.
I think the police will try to prevent crimes but they probably won't try to chase the bad guys when nothing happens. I saw a machete fight near the station, and the locals yelled "policia". The moto police showed up quickly to stop the fight. Things like these happen once in a while. You don't see them but they are there.

How is the covid situation there?

If I'm arriving day time and traveling light, I'll take the bus to San Diego, if I'm staying in Poblado, Envigado or Sabaneta, then hop on a south bound bus. If I'm staying in Laureles, arriving day time and traveling light, bus to Nutibara, metro to Estadio. If one of my regular girls is available (and I'm not avoiding her for a few days), I'll have her pick me up.
Traveling heavy, or arriving late, straight to the taxis.
Except I'll probably be renting a car again next time.
I was planning a trip in 15-20 days and was wondering how many cases and any restrictions on clubs etc. I would really appreciate any insides.

You can get the waiter to exchange 2 k bills for you or you can go to the bar to exchange it. I exchange 50 mil at a time. You will exchange it more than once if you stay long. 320 mil to take girl to the room is about right. It was 300 mil before. If you want to be sure, ask a few more girls to see if they all give you the same price. You can pay by credit card
Pay by credit card, interesting, I didn't know that, but can't see a lot of guys doing it, but I guess you could chalk up some points on a card if you frequented the place a lot. LOL.
