I remember seeing posts somewhere about customs looking at your phone for some sort of "evidence" of miss behaving. What happened today was on my bus ride from the airport to El Centro was almost comical compared to what we have been writing about lately, and I would love for someone to explain it to me.

First of all, I don't care who is right or wrong, I am a truth-seeker and the truth is all I am after. If the topic or the pursuit of truth is not important to you, then by all means ignore this.

I got on the bus at the airport after the driver verbally confirmed our last stop would be in El Centro behind The Nutibara Hotel. The bus was not labeled as I showed in my previous post with the red arrows. The front was plain. The bus was full and there was a smokin' hot blonde sitting next to me, which is a useless statement without a foto, but I was too slow and did not manage it well, she and her equally hot friend got off at San Diego. I would blame it on jet lag but the flight was less than one hour, jajaja.

We went through the tunnel which as you may recall, is a variable on the route to El Centro. First stop, San Diego and not the mall I referred to in my previous post as Rio Negro.

This was the commercial business district of San Diego. About a third of the bus emptied out. The foto at today's bus stop in San Diego was from the right side of the bus pointed at the Honda dealership. In a couple of blocks we passed the Exposiciones metro station on the right.

Next stop, Terminal Norte. I've been there many times including on the way to El Centro on this bus before and I've caught a different bus from Terminal Norte to Guatape several times. So I wasn't lost.

Here's where it got a little weird. Everyone got off the bus at Terminal Norte. No one new got on. I figured I needed to get off and make a transfer. I could get to Avenida 70 from Terminal Norte by changing trains in San Antonio but that is not the way I wanted to do it.

I was about to be the last living human passenger off the bus at Terminal Norte when the driver stopped me and motioned for me to sit in the front seat. He remembered my asking at the airport about going to The Nutibara. For the remainder of the bus ride I was the only person on the bus, the rest of the bus was completely empty except for the driver. We pulled in behind The Nutti as per usual. I took fotos from inside the 24-hour cafe where the bus ride ended including the taxis I mentioned before. I circled the sign of the restaurant La Raza which is the back entrance to The Nutti, see my previous post for a close-up of that sign.

I went across the street to that little known brothel I posted about long ago (the "gateway" brothel for new girls from the mountains) but there were only two girls in there and they were both occupied. The white block letters are the address. That brothel is adjacent to Hotel Deseos, and that is the second of two hotels I have shown you guys recently that normally does not check ID's. I did all this in the dark, walking around with my backpack, computer, credit cards, cash, pulled the phone out a few times. I am not saying do what I do, I am telling you what I did. Then I went over to the bar next to The Nutti, did two shots of Cuervo Gold mainly so I could say Hi to the bartender, and grabbed a taxi to my hotel en Estadio.

Anywho, would love to hear anyone's take on my bus ride from the airport to The Nutti. My thoughts, I have been going in and out of black holes in the time-space continuum. Or, more likely as with most things Colombian, they are always switching up and doing things differently, and anyone especially including me, who thinks they have emphatically got the situation figured out is probably dealing with outdated info, or the whims of the Colombian mind that defy description.

The one thing I can say for sure, it feels great to be back, even though Hotel Urbano 70 lost my fucking reservation and I had to walk the block to find another hotel that I am not digging. Oh well. My mood is not going to improve until I get rid of some dental pain and I have an appointment tomorrow thanks to a lead from a fellow mongerer here! Another win for ISG.
