Quick question. I am planning a trip to Colombia and I want to see is anyone tried the self administered test by Abbott to return to the US. Avoid to fins a local testing site? Looking to by Six tests for $150 but wanted to make sure the Airline in Colombia are accepting these tests. I will flying with Avinca or Delta.

I don't know about most members here, but when I arrive in town, the last thing I want to do is mess around taking the bus, sharing a ride in a collectivo, and having to transfer to a taxi or bus to get where I'm going. When I arrive, I always grab a white taxi at the airport which costs 90 K which includes the tunnel peaje.

Or about $2.50 USD? I'll admit I have not seen you mention it lately, perhaps you are finally starting to comprehend the Law of Supply and Demand to some degree.

Obviously, when staying at The Nutibara Hotel, there are no transfers, you get dropped off at The Nutti's back door, which is too convenient for me to pass up. The view is better higher up in a bus, too. But hey to each his own, life is about choices and I am not suggesting anyone ever do anything different according to what I write, but decide for themselves.

Probably one of the most well-known of the Medellin Facebook chica mob is Kate Zuluaga (her actual Facebook name- It has been published here a few times by others).

I have seen her discussed on here and on other message boards. Rightfully so. When she gets dolled up, she can look stunning. She is a little thicker than my normal taste (I love the spinners) but she is not a gordita by any stretch of the imagination. Her funbags are big enough to TF and have fun with. It seems entire city of Medellin and it's surrounding areas are hungover as fuck from the weekend parties, and I love it because I am too. Streets are quiet, many stores are closed, people are recovering from their hangovers or are still partying it up.

On New Year's Eve, I invited my main chica and her amigas over to my apartment and made asado (bbq). Paisas usually like their meat well done, I had to teach them medium rare is the way to go with good cuts of meat. I made good use of my brand new cast iron grill. Many paisas don't eat seafood, so I oven grilled some tilapia for them to try and surprisingly came out decent hehe. Celebrated the New Year with good food, endless liquor, lots of fireworks displays viewable from my balcony, and a whole lot of pink and green (think of tussi Incredible Hulk style hehe) powder.

We partied till 7 am and called it a night / morning. I did get a chance to fuck my main girl in between the ongoing party, definitely had to start the New Year with a good bang hehe. I leave in a couple days, and seeing the crazy ass traveling mess I hope I can make it home smoothly. Good thing about having my own place, I get to leave all my shit here and just go with a backpack. It's also nice to not have to worry about booking an airbnb or hotel during peak season. Anyways, I'll def be in Medellin again for Christmas / New Years. I'm starting to feel more like a local than a visitor each time I come back. Chino paisa out!

On side note, my 2 well travelled younger sisters (one in her 20's and other in 30's) and their friends now want to visit Medellin after my recent apartment acquisition. I told them I don't stay in Poblado, my area is not suited for gringas or chinitas hehe. They said the more local, the better. Fucking great. I'm still going to put their asses in an airbnb in Poblado or Laureles. I can't have them staying in my bachelor fuck pad hehe.

And yes, I know that for 20 K or less, I could get to my destination, but typically when I arrive I've been on a red-eye, and just don't wan to deal with much. And yes, I know that the 70 K savings could cover two low budget fugly fucks in Centro.

I agree with you.

To pay $5 instead of $23, that $18 saved is not worth the extra time, extra risk, and hassle.

If I'm worried about saving $18, I would just stay home.
