San José de Cúcuta (official name) is the 6th largest city in Colombia.

Climate.
During the Summer, it gets very HOT with Peak temperatures around 38 see / 100 F.
The wettest months are April, May, September, October and November.

Geography.
The Simon Bolivar International Bridge links the small town of La Parada (Colombia) and San Cristbal (Venezuela). The first major city in Colombia after the border is Cucuta.
The Tachira River (aka Rio Tachira) divides the border between Venezuela and Colombia.

This two lane Simon Bolivar bridge has become a concrete bottleneck for the masses fleeing this crisis in Venezuela.
On CNN, you may have seen pedestrians pushing handcarts, laden with shopping bags and some carrying plastic bags on their shoulders.

Most Venezuelans stay in Cucuta only long enough to have their passport stamped and catch a ride. Medellin is a popular destination for these Venezuelans.

Hotels in Cucuta can be broadly divided into two classes: 2 Stars and 4 Stars.

All the 1/ 2 Star Hotels are chica friendly. No questions asked.
Personally, I would never stay at these Hotels. I prefer the comfort, cleanliness and security offered by the 3/4 Star properties.

You can lookup these 3/4 Stars Hotels on Google Maps for exact location:
-Holiday Inn Cucuta.
-Hotel Arizona Suites (3 Stars).
-Hotel Casino Internacional (HCI).

These are "Business Hotels". You will see Corporate Marketing events and Employee meetings being held at these Hotels.
60 to 70% of the guests in these Hotels are business travelers.

If you use common sense guidelines, you will have no issues bringing back girls. These guidelines are:
**Book the room for TWO people.
**Be discreet. This means do not walk into the Hotel intoxicated or drunk with two or three girls.
**If the girl is wearing revealing clothes, cover her up BEFORE entering the Lobby. You can use an over sized scarf to wrap around her shoulder.
(If I do not have a scarf, I ask the chica to wait in the Parking lot. I go to my room and bring a shirt for her.).

Yes there are, you can always find something but the best comes out after sunset and when the shops close down for the day then wham they start swarming. Yes there are a handful of small bars open during the day but naturally the selection and quantity and quality is questionable.

Hard to compare with other large cities, just given the size of inhabitants, Bogota has plenty of daytime streetwalkers and arguably probably the best selection, Medellin too as I was in centro Medellin today at noon (ie The Vera, Botero Plaza, etc.) and if I was hard pressed I could land something suitable to my taste, same with Cartagena in terms of daytime action BUT lets face it the chicas all come out after sunset.

This brings up a very valid side point which you must consider. The heat and humidity and dirty dusty Cucuta air especially in the daytime, maybe I am spoiled by the climate in Medellin but when it is humid and I am sweaty it does take the fun for me out of the action.

Yes a 13 hour drive from Medellin to Cucuta, I left Medellin at exactly 4 AM on Friday morning, stopped once for gas fill up and 3 or 4 to take a leak, did not even stop to eat just drove it like I stole it as they say, jajaja.

The 250 chicas include those in all those bars and on the street, of course this is not paradise but I had no problem finding EXACTLY what I liked on both Friday night (the 18 yo in my earlier post photo) and last night (who is next to me right now in my bed as I write this), both todo la noche, both venies, both total GFE, both thin and very very cute with great fun filled attitudes, my first girl was 100 mil and this one 120 mil, and this one here is 120 for 24 hours.

And my Sunday afternoon into the evening observations was that, as expected, the count drops to about half or even a little less than half but like everywhere else if you just have a little patience you will find what suits you.

I was out and about in these, yes sketchy areas, between 6 PM till 1 AM, and yes of course these areas are not for everyone, depending on what your use to. For me centro in Medellin is much more risky, just IMHO.

Whenever there is a refugee situation they for the most part display the kind, sweet, GFE, etc. Venezuelans in Colombia, Haitians in the Dominican Republic, Laotians in Thailand. They probably understand just as well that the place is not their home and they don't want to make problems and risk being deported.

I think there's another factor at work with the refugee situation.

When you're dealing with a local girl she's got her friends and family, in most cases, nearby. She has a sense of security and a connection with the area. She might enjoy the sex and she might be very affectionate, but all she needs from you is the money.

The refugee is often cut off from most of her friends and family. She might have found new friends, but she's disconnected from her wider support group. For a short while, you're able to give her a feeling of security and affection.

I experienced two Venezolanas on my last trip to Bogota last Labor Day weekend. Both were ruthless in their quest for more money than the agreed price and were below the standards of their Colombian counterparts in terms of attitude and service. This might reflect the bad situation they recently escaped from. Obviously they were attractive, which is why I chose them. But so were their Colombian counterparts. In both cases, I was in a casa and saw better looking girls become available after I chose them. I didn't know their nationality until after the fact. Looks wise, nothing distinguishes them as special when compared to the Colombianas. They are not a different ethnic group. Let's put these myths to rest, which originate with the beauty queen industry of Venezuela and gets perpetuated in forums like these. If and when I return to Colombia, I will probably make an effort to avoid the Venezolanas.

Well my experience was totally different to yours. I was with 8 Venezuelan chicas in Colombia, and 7 provided a great service! Can you speak Spanish, maybe not. Are you judging the behaviour / performance of all Venezuelan chicas on the 2 you had in a Bogota club, that would be ridiculous! Plus, chicas in Bogota clubs are known to be pretty hardcore in general, and moreso if they were clubs in Santa Fe.

Poverty is a great motivating factor for working harder in general, same goes for this business, and for the moment Venezuelans are much poorer than Colombians!

By the way, I never said anything about Venezuelans being better looking than Colombians, I also saw a lot of great looking Colombian women on my trip !

Eszpresszo, of course you always need to do some due diligence when making your selection, I could write a chapter on the nuances that you get when you initially meet any chica especially needed in a casa as this interaction usually lasts about 10 seconds, and if your Spanish is little to none you need to really observe, this is why I spend hours (in Cucuta and other places) meeting many chicas be it on the street or in a casa or a bar and observe them and speak to them, maybe invite them for a beer (the cost of beer in a bar in Cucuta is like 5 mil) and only then you may get a sense of what they are like behind closed doors, this is not perfect but I have found to be almost fool prof.

By far I have found the Venezuelan chicas to be kind, non-aggressive, sweet and very good lovers under the sheets.

Nope she actually sent me this photo of herself to me via whatsapp a few hours after I met her on the street, getting hers and about 4 or 5 other chicas whatsapp numbers, she sent me this to entice me to see her that evening, which I did, so the next day were just hanging in my hotel room (yes the Hotel Mary) she received a telephone call and spoke to an hombre, then she explained that she is trying out a website so she can get more business hence the prepagados. Website.

This is NOT unlikely at all, I know a number of working girls here in Medellin who advertise on prepagados website then I see them at Plaza Botero or Majorista or walking the parks, believe it or not this is reality and can't blame them as they are marketing their services, jajajaja.

Not necessarily, we all know that taxis are inexpensive, they have a security guard 24/7 at the front entrance but when I drive in me and my girl are discrete and normal as possible, he just waves us through, following through with this morning my girl and I walked to the outside restaraunt where they serve the breakfast, no questions and no raised eyebrow looks from any of the staff, but know that we act like a respectful couple just enjoying our morning coffee and eggs, and she is not a registered guest either, also know that I am very tackful and kind to the staff, lets face it they all know the game and what is going on.
