They say the shots came from under the bridge from smugglers area. No reason to travel there. If you are a risk taker there are places in the world that are much more fucked up. If you want to save on some pesos, ask yourself how much would you pay to get out of the trouble in case it happens. If you want venecas, there are plenty in Bogota.

Last night I was in Chicago Club, Tijuana, and started chatting with a chica from Venezuela. I told her I would be traveling to Cucuta this summer.
She freaked out and told me it is too dangerous for anyone to travel there. She just received a video earlier in the day and showed it to me.
It looked like in was taken on the Simon Bridge with tons of people. Several gun shots were fired and everyone, included children were ducking for safety.
And thoughts?

Arrived Friday afternoon from BOG. The avianca flight left at 1250 pm with no delays. Booked my hotel with hotel Mary 81 k for a room with AC. Get the room with AC. It's hot as fuck here in cucuta.
The best way I can describe Cucuta is like a Wild West town. A lot of dust and tons of people selling food and goods on the street. I followed the DC map. Most clubs are on avienda 7, which is on the same street as hotel Mary. You walk left and in a few blocks you start seeing sw's and the clubs on both sides of the streets. The sw talent are mostly short Venezuelans ranging from 5-8 IMHO. They are charging 25 k for a short time. Yes $7 US. Didn't pull any street talent just because after negotiations they just seem like it's going to be hurry up service. The clubs on the other hand were a lot better. Still short and sexy Venezuelans And also very enthusiastic about finding their client for the night. Cucuta def has the best TLN value. Mostly all chicas would do TLN. All for just 100 k. One girl quoted me 80 k after her shift ended at 10 pm. The club also have rooms. You can go with the chica for 30 k short time. The best rooms were at Night club Las Nuevas Tijuana. I pulled a short dark spinner. Cheerleader type. Great services provider. All covered. Also the drink prices were great. 4 K for beer and 50 k for half bottle. Chica drinks vary from place to place. But not expensive. Last night ended fucking 3 chicas plus the TLN chick that just left. The TLN chick fucked me 3 times during here stay at my hotel. She wasn't a looker but had a sexy body with tattoos. 25 no kids and was studying to be an architect back in Venezuela. We had great conversation And she was a definitely a freak in bed. Great TLN experience. I'm going to take a nap now and when I wake up repeat until my flight leaves back to Bogota. I great quick first experience of Cucuta. Would I come back again? Definitely. But I'd only stay for a few days of straight TLN fucking. LOL. I hope this report finds you guys enjoying life and not paying loads of money doing it. I'm OUT!

Posts: 177I have more respect and interest in reading the report of the man that goes to Cucuta to pursue 100 k TLN Venezuelan pussy than I do for the bloke that goes to Medellin and pays $ 500 k an hour for the same pussy a Colombian pays $ 100 k an hour for. Just saying.

However, many of the "man, I have to check that place out" crowd are the same people who raise hell when they find out their hotel in Medellin doesn't have a heater, or their hotel in Bogota doesn't have air conditioning. Those are the guys only thinking about one aspect, cheaper, maybe less experienced prepagos.
What you call criticizing, I call reality. 2 years ago a first timer asked for advice. A few guys told him to stay in El Centro, close to all the pussy. I read his description, no experience, almost no Spanish and suggested he stay at the Mansion. Not because I think it's better, but I thought it was better for him.
He spent 1 sleepless night in his El Centro hotel, then was lucky to get a room at the Mansion for the rest of his trip.
I'm not here with an axe to grind, or some favorite place to promote. I'm here to inject some reality when and where it's needed. If you think asking about whether the water is drinkable isn't needed, try drinking some.
As for your veiled threat, what do you propose I do? Should I fly to BsAs and ask Jackson or A2 to type up my messages? Should I go hang out at the Cucuta airport and question every gringo that gets off every plane? Or should I just get a megaphone and walk around Parque Lleras expressing my opinions?
Instead of cowardice. Which I always thought was better applied to name calling via the internet. How about "reaching an audience?" If I was sitting in Medellin and someone told me they were going to Cucuta because they heard the streetwalkers only charge 20 k, I'd tell him the same thing. But I'm not sitting in Medellin at the moment and I'm not prepared to fly all over the world to track down every poster and ask if they've really thought about it.
However, you're welcome to pm me to schedule a meeting and I will happily express my opinions in person.

Will I ever return to Cucuta? I have been twice in the past month, which has satisfied my quench, so no I don't have any reason to return but love the daily video calls from the chicas I met on this most recent trip.
And NO the water is not drinkable, the dirty balmy humid stale air in Cucuta absolutely kills my day time zest for exploring and P4 P fun and other than a few sites to see within a half a day and there is little to nothing else to do or see in Cucuta.
I sit now in my apartment here in rainy Medellin and seriously contemplating a drive down to Cali, again something different, oh and yesterday (Sunday April 21st) I had 2 paisas with one in the afternoon for a few hours and the other from last night, one of them a non-pro favorite of mine for the past year and the other some new pussy, both fully satisfying.

Posts: 209I understand this is a forum for a lot of men to gossip and pass judgement. And hiding behind ones computer to do so seems to be the preferred method of cowardice. With that said, I have visited Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Buenaventura, and Santa Marta. I have frequented them often. Spending $167 to fly to Bogota then another $65 roundtrip to fly to seeścuta os worth the new adventure. Every place has its caveats and that's part of the experience. If one doesn't like, it they can just leave. A sunk cost that is miniscule in the grand scheme of a new adventure. Continue to enjoy criticizing if that gets you off. Just make sure you keep it in the realm of punch keys to do it LOL.

And actually they will end up spending more because they will start with the she was so nice and GFE that I gave her 100 K tip. Don't tell me how to spend my money. To me it was well worth it. Etc.

Posts: 5462It's good to see all the interest in other areas.
But it's also rather funny.
Everyone is ready to spend $100 on a round trip to hot, dusty Cucuta, because they can save $3-$4 on a hungry Venezuelan chica. Of course, after 40 or 50 gringos show up, everyone will end up spending the same as in El Centro or Santa Fe, for 1/10th of the selection.
I can understand making the trip because you want to explore Colombia. There's a lot to see outside of Medellin and Bogota. I just can't understand making the trip believing that somehow the pussy in Cucuta is better than the pussy anywhere else. The price difference isn't enough to deal with the lack of services, or the climate. Especially if you mess up and book a room with no air conditioning.
There's one important question nobody has asked. Is the water drinkable? Dealing with 100° heat with no air conditioning and uncontrollable bowels isn't something you want to experience.
