You can be poisoned by scopolamine by injection, or by having it put in your food or drink. You can't be poisoned by licking it off a stripper's nipples, as it would require an amount that would be easy to see and she would have to lay down and pour it on her chest while you waited. You could be poisoned by someone blowing it in your face, if you stood there while they blew, reloaded, blew, reloaded. About 5 times as most of it is just going to end up on your skin and your skin will not absorb it fast enough to have any negative effects. It also takes about 20 minutes to take effect.

No one is questioning that scopolamine exists. It's a prescription drug used to prevent motion sickness along with many other uses. In larger doses it causes sleepiness and memory loss. What's being questioned is the blow it in your face or put it on nipples delivery methods.

Look at the titles and you can see it's nothing more than clickbait for the gullible. "World's Scariest Drug", "Russia's Deadliest Drug", and others. There are much better sources available.

Yes. Pay attention to your drink and be aware of what is going on around you. Yes. Be wary of strangers offering you anything. Agreed! A local told me about a friend that was robbed for everything they had in his pockets. Also was told that its much safer to get the ones that are inside, like the ones closer to Park Bolivar (in that area). Better looking girls there also. He also told me of a drug that sounds crazy. People will put it in your drink or blow it in your face and you can not refuse anything. Everything they tell you, you will do, clean out your bank account, leave you naked and destitute. Wake up 3 days later and have no memory of what happened.

I did get a girl in that area, only because its been a long time for me. Now that its out of my system, I will be going to much safer places.

There's no drug that someone can blow in your face that will do what you heard. Even if there was it would be almost as dangerous to the person trying to use it as to the victim.

To minimize your risk, don't let any stranger buy you a drink. Also, don't drink to excess. Watch your drink. Don't leave it unattended.

To reduce your losses, only carry the cash you plan to spend. Don't carry credit or ATM cards. Keep extra cash and cards locked in the safe. Stay at a place where guests must be checked in.

Too many guys show up carrying 4 cards and 500 k everywhere they go. Then they decide to party their asses off. Foolish behavior lets bad things happen.

Parque De La Libertad seams like the place to be. Not in the park, but about 2 or 3 blocks east of there and 1 or 2 blocks south. Many Sws there and also on one corner there was a group of TVs. Must be carfull there, because they are aggressive. Some are attractive, but I don't fly that way.

That Parque De La Libertad and the area around there, is low end action. Cheap prices but you have to be careful and not get robbed. Its a rough crowd, plus like you say lots of trannies thrown in there some right next to the straight girls. Takes some guts to go to that area, been there myself. Good luck.

Toscana is closed, Flores Fres Cas Wisqueria is open, but I did not go in to check it out. Bar Travinia is open, but was totally dead. There were no girls in there last night. I have also heard that the park across from Star Club is good, but I did not look closely. Star club asked me for 11,000 and I did not go inside, although I have heard from other people the girls in there are very cute. Also went to a place near to La Barra Show Topless or maybe that was it. It might be the same place (I am not sure), but there were no topless girls there or anything, Girls there where very cute also. On the same block (up the street), I seen a few sws that were doable. Both places are near the pool hall, if that helps. Many places do not have a name or a sign attached to the building so its a bit hard to tell if your in the right place or not. Staying in Periera now, and checked out the map. All the SW areas near the park were dead. No one there. I did find some place near to the pool hall. I did see some SWs on the corner, about 5 or so. Not too bad, but down the block there is a bar with lots of hotties. The doorman told me 70 mill for a girl. Might be interesting once or twice. Thinking I will try the SWs on the corner.

I plan to do frequent stops and just chill during the trip as I have a month to burn in country. Has anyone done this or have relative info, advice, etc. ? I already have my moto license and relative open road gear.

Get a good bike. Be prepared for some hassles. I've talked to a few guys who've done shorter trips outside Medellin that were bothered by the cops. Pulled over frequently, checks for everything. Just typical minor harassment. You might want to travel with a group.

Anyway, I was wondering (from anyone living there), what is the weather like in March, and April? I am planing a visit, for that period, this year. Yea, I know it raining there during those time periods, but I want to know if it rains all day, or like for a and hour or so, like other places I have been to. That would not be good if its raining all day, every day, for those months.

I am often in Pereira, I can say the weather is nearly perfect there. When I was looking for an apartment / house I quickly noticed almost none of them had airconditioning or heating. Why? A quick look at Wiki shows the historical record high for Pereira is less than 98.6 f /37 c and low 50 f /10 c. Yes, it can get a little warm, a little cool, but not a lot. Average year round temp of 72 f /22 c. Yeah it rains year round, for about an hour or two then clears up again. Thats why they call the area "el pais eterno primavera" (land of eternal spring) Oct. And Nov. , Apr. And May are slightly rainier, but not by much. Other parts of Colombia get saturated and have those landslides you see on the news occasionally. Also, surprisingly I noticed there aren't a lot of mosquitos or other bitchos. I like it a lot there.

In short, take a look at the Wiki for Pereira and make your own call.

I was in Pereira a few years back and thinking about going back. In the last 18 months or so, it appears to becoming a monger destination. One reason I like Pereira is that I don't prepago. Prepago, is the norm in other places throughout Colombia, and its really I big bummer for me. I never prepago, no matter what the circumstances. I hope they don't do that now there. Any comments about that would also be appreciated.

When I was there I remember paying about 15 usd for a girl and a short time room. Now I see from the map that World Traveler provided things have changed quite a bit. When I was there, there was only 2 really SW areas and now from WT, says that there are more. No casa bars or anything of that kind, to be seen when I was there, and trust me, I would know about it.
