Yes, most people are wearing masks in both Bogota and Cucuta. People are a bit more lax outdoors, but definitely in any indoor establishment you will be asked to wear a mask, and probably will not be let in if you do not wear on. The exception to this is at eating establishments, until they come up with a mask you can wear while eating. You will be allowed to remove your mask to drink and eat.

I've made at least 4 trips to Cucuta over the years and after each one I always tell myself I'm never coming back. LOL. In fairness, this was probably my best trip. My stats:

1 - Hotel Avenida Tercera Walk in.

1 - Hotel Superior via Mileroticos.

2 - good experiences off of Ave 7.

1 - mediocre experience off Ave 7.

2 - bad girls off of Ave 7.

1 - from Oficina paisa. Repeated once with her.

So 8 sessions in 8 days total (but only 6 days where I did mongering). Not bad. 6 of those were decent sessions. I'd say a good experience overall. I get it that some people just like to stay in their comfort zone and the routine. My reasons for visiting Cucuta and every other city and pueblo in Colombia is to mix it up, see what's different, play around and just experience it.

Not all of us are cut from the same cloth and that is ok. Saturday Night made a trip to La Oficina Paisa again, calle 7, between avenida 3 and 4. Inside it looked like a completely different place, it was packed. There was only 1 table free that I could see, which I took. I was eventually asked to move to a smaller table so a bigger group could take my table. This has happened to me at clubs in Bogota on busy nights, I used to get offended by it, but by now I'm used to it.

It takes me exactly 13 hrs to drive, which I have done a number of times, from Medellin to Cucuta and yes there are also buses that do this route regularly and they show 13 HR and 8 minutes on their schedule.

So the other night when I rode the bus back from Avenida 7, I noticed a bar with a girl standing outside in a tight dress. I could see flashing lights coming from inside the bar. Seems like my kind of place. And yes. I take the bus, because I'm a cheap bastard.

Now I drove to Cucuta from Medellin both times so I had an advantage of really exploring the area, not just the bars on Avenida 7, NOTE that I stayed a few days both times at Hotel Mary but the parks with street walkers and also a few locations outside of centro and uncovered a few real gems which is hard to find in the Avenida 7 bars.

I would make another trip and spend a week there if nothing else just to experience it.

BTW it takes exactly 13 hours to drive from Medellin to Cucuta.

It was dark, I suppose so it could have been Popoita. If you have to walk upstairs, then you'll know your there. There aren't that many bars on the strip.

1. Holiday Inn. The location is good, but I would not recommend this hotel. Its not girl friendly. The only reason I'm staying here is because I found a cheap deal.

2. Its been fun exploring a new place, although I've been here 3 times in the past and always found it disappointing. I knew what to expect coming in, so I was not so disappointed.

Yes Cucuta is pretty much the same, except I expect there are a lot more venezolanas here now. What I'm finding is that most attractive girls don't stay here. Mining for the gems here really takes a lot of time. Unfortunately, I don't really have that time. That said, this has probably been my best cucuta trip I've had. I want to get this written down while its still semi fresh in my mind.

Last night I went out to avenida 7 as is my usual MO.

I hit Popitas for around 20 minutes and was actually quite surprised. 11 or 12 girls and only around 5 or 6 guys. Again, it was very dark.
