Santa Fe is in another league compared with Avenida 7 in Cucuta.

Been to Cucuta twice, good change of pace but how does it compare to Santa Fe? Like Kazeu states it is in a different league altogether.

Down a couple blocks away is Grill LOS Colegas, which is where I spent the next couple hours of my night. Here there were maybe about 15 girls. Some quite doable. Went to Avenida 7 at around 9:30 pm last night. I took a taxi from my AirBnb in la riviera. When I told the driver where I wanted to go, he asked me if I was sure. I never ended up staying at hotel mary. Everytime I looked at their hotel on booking.com, I kept thinking how much better I could do with an airBnb. So I ended up in an AirBnb in La Riviera. Its about a 8 - 10 minute walk to CC ventura plaza. In retrospect, it was probably for the best considering my dissapointement with Avenida 7, but I will indeed try to visit on a less busy night and see how it is. I have heard that Hotel Mary is GF, but I have no personal experience in that regard.

I went to avenida 7 at about 10 pm maybe a little later. Safety wise it felt a lot like santa fe in Bogota. Stay attentive and you should be okay. But I wouldn't wander to far off Avenida 7. All the areas surrounding it are dark and desserted.

I haven't seen any daytime bars, but then again, I haven't really been looking.

Just booked my flight to Cucuta! Will have reports to follow.
