OK last evening I spent 5 or 6 hours trolling all areas of Cucuta, I DROVE HERE from Medellin on Friday as I own my car so this gives me an incredible opportunity to really check out all the areas, I spent hours just in the area a few blocks away from Hotel Mary, there are no less that 15 bars, they remind me a lot of Tijuana Baja California Mexico as that was my playground for 20 plus years when I lived in California.

Just in the area by Hotel Mary, a roughly 4 block area I counted no less than 250 chicas and 95% are Venezuelans. Yes they are all shapes and sizes, you WILL find your type.

As for safety, understand that I am a big guy, 6'-7" and pushing 280 lbs and found that the bad Colombians are not stupid as so they don't bother with hassling me they go for the lame and weak in the bunch, so just keep your senses and don't get drunk or drugs, you will be fine.

Yes the Hotel Mary is absolutely chica friendly, yesterday morning at 11 AM brought a girl through the reception area straight to my room for 3 hours, not one question, period.

It is almost 11 AM siting in my hotel room so I will continue my "recon and research mission" this afternoon into the evening tonight.

BTW, the going rate for short term is 35 mil and I have paid 100 mil for all night (the girl in my photo below) to 120 mil. So guys don't fuck up the P4 P scene here.

You drove there? Man, that must have been one hell of a long drive! Do you happen to know the numbers of the streets with the bars you mentioned so I can check them out on Google maps? Is there action there in the daytime, or just the evening? Are the chicas mainly walking about or sitting in the bars? 250 chicas, really? DAMN, that's a lot! I heard about all the chicas in Santa Fe, Bogota, but then I went there. The two times I walked through there were max 25 chicas, none of whom I would have touched with a barge pole! I'm also over 6 ft tall, didn't have any problems on my last trip to Colombia. Have read other reviews though saying that the area around the bus station in Cucuta is pretty sketchy. Yes, read my post below on the similarities that these bars have with the ones in Tijuana Mexico.

There is one very plush club south of Cucuta about a 15 minute drive, called Bahia Night Club, during my troll all around Cucuta last night I drove there and spoke to the bouncer and went inside to check the girls and ambiance, it is a very nice club, when your inside you forget that your in fucking Cucuta, it reminds me of the SpirnoRhino Clubs back in LOS Angeles California, very plush, great comfortable areas to lounge around, last night there were 22 chicas, from what I saw I would rate them strong 6+ to a few 8's and even a few 9's, the cost is 150 mil for 30 minutes, they are open Mondays thru Saturday (closed Sunday) from about 7 or 8 PM to 4 AM.

The bouncer was really cool guy, he understood that since I was solo I would have felt out of place, as there were a number of guys but all in groups of 2 to 5, I am not going to be the solo gringo freak of the place so I politely excused myself. And seeing what you can get around the Hotel Mary I would never pay 150 mil for 30 minutes.

The only upside regarding Hotel Mary is the location. I believe it has NO hot water and rooms get a lot of noise.

Cucuta has plenty of Hotels. It all depends on your budget and tolerance level.
If you desire more comfort and security, consider Hotel Ibis Cucuta ($29 per night) OR Holiday Inn ($64 per night).
Both these Hotels are towards Centro. Hotel Ibis is 2.5 Kms from Hotel Mary. This is a short 10 minute Taxi ride.

One thing I wonder about. On my recent trip to Colombia, the better sessions I had were with Venezuelans, in clubs, online, plus with a gorgeous street walker.

This is a very general question, but is there any pattern to where they go in Colombia, to the bigger cities? Those closest to Venezuela (ie Cucuta, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga for example?) I suppose where they have friends and family too of course. A really gorgeous Venezuelan street vendor disappeared from Santa Marta before I had the chance to shag her, it's that which kind of spurred this question. Do the street vendors go from one city to the next? Oh well, I guess I'll never see her again! Out of hundreds of Venezuelan street vendors I saw around, very few were attractive. So I guess the better looking ones find male sponsors or become hookers?

Even though Bogota is the largest city, I didn't get the impression that it was overloaded with Venezuelan hookers and street vendors etc, so maybe they don't just go to the biggest cities? I'm kind of thinking that Cucuta will be a great option, for obvious reasons as it's so close to the border. And what about Medellin, and Cali?

Thanks for the advice and the link to the article. Interesting to see where the Venezuealans mainly live. I reckon there are a lot more than 800,000 of them in Colombia now though, don't you? That would be only 1 out of 62 people in Colombia being Venezuelan, I'm sure it's much higher, since the situation in Venezuela has got a lot worse since the article was written in June 2018.

Bogota- In Santa Fe almost all the SW are Ven. Same goes with the clubs in the south of Bogota. With a sprinkle of colombianas. The 2 club in front of pussy house were all Ven too.

Basically 1 million Ven are in Colombia now. Ill be going again April 25 to BOG for the weekend and thinking of making a side day trip to Cucuta. Anywhere far away from my Ven GF in MDE. LOL.
