Went to Pereira mainly to go to the hot spring termales in Santa Rosa de Cabral and eat some good food. Didn't do any mongering.

Stayed the night at the Soratama Hotel downtown Pereira.

Aside from the dumb desk clerk who couldn't find my reservation, and a chirpy big-mouth Bellhop, the best thing is the free morning buffet. There was tropical fruits, ham, cheese, eggs, cereal etc. Really good stuff.

$60-70 a night, would recommend.

Went to Buga on a lark from Cali. Short bus ride, about an hour. The main thing here is the religious stuff. Impressive iglesia-basilica with lots of gold inlaid walls inside. An amazing statue of Christ nailed to the cross. El Senor de LOS Milagros.

Now the good stuff. I had heard of a monger scene in Buga. Found it a short walk from the church at Calle 8 and Carrera 10. There were about 5 girls there in early afternoon. Picked up Maria Nanci, a MILF, and she took me to her room. She gave me a decent covered BJ and did some deepthroat action too.

Cost 20 K COP plus 10 K for the room. Her little chihuahua watched the whole thing. Would go back to explore more.

I met a girl online who lives here and I am thinking on visiting her, but I am reading all kind of conflicting reports on this city. The issue of safety has been brought up on many sites. Some sites say that the area has improve on safety. Any input on this city of Villavicencio would help.

I only got to go to Stars Club and Flores Frescas for night time action. The couple of day time places I tried did not answer their doors, so I'm not even sure if they're still operating. Street action is not my thing especially being alone, so I have no experience with those girls I saw in Plaza Bolivar at night.

My view on Pereira. Nice small city. Not that great for mongering. Even dating multiple girls can be difficult not because of their friendliness (they are friendlier than MDE Paisas, I think, though not chase you down friendly like Calenas), but rather the smallness of the city makes it easy to get caught. It is not unusual to run into people you know. I was there for almost two months.

Would I go back? Yes, because I've made some friends (another reason why I didn't get to explore the mongering scene too much). But part of me wished I spent at least a week in MDE. The girls have the same general look as the Pereiranas, but MDE have TONS more stuff and girls to do.

I also like to chat with the girls for a while instead of picking one up quick, then a quickie in a motel. I'll see if I can get to Dona Tere, and I'll report back. Would you happen to know the price structure for the drinks, room, and chicas?

I went back to some reports of mine from 3 years ago. Dona Tere is 40 K for a half hour; and 50 K for an hour for the chicas. The room is included in the price. Drinks were 4 K. Beer and alcohol only, no soft drinks and no food.

Its a blue collar place for hard-drinking Colombian guys. Usually theres 10-12 chicas on premises with 3 rooms in the back.

I guess you're not into the streetwalkers or bar action in Pereira. I'm talking about Parque Bolivar or bar Dona Tere on Cra 6. Its a lot cheaper than Flores Frescas. The parque chicas charge 20-30 M. Theres shorttime hotels close by.

In Pereira for an extended period of time. Haven't really mongered much, as I have friends here. I do have to say, Pereiranas (non-pros) are not as easily approachable as their reputation seem to be. I'm young-looking, pretty fit, decent looking, speak intermediate Spanish, and an obvious gringo. You still have to approach them, and basically win them over (play hard to get while you spend money on them). Caleas would basically chase you down. Cartageneras are pretty forward as well. But as have been said before in this thread, not sure where that stereotype of Pereiranas came from. It's probably just because their city rhymes so much with the word "perra".

As for mongering:

Flores Frescas. Went on a Friday night. About 20 or so girls. About half are doable. About 5 pretty hot. Only about 4 table fulls of males (Colombians, I think). Only saw one guy go up with a girl, who looked like a 9. If you only got beer (12 k, but kind of forgot), they make you sit at the bar. You have to at least get a half bottle of firewater or ron to get a table. I was quoted 150 k for half hour in one of the room in house. Steep. Bar fined a hot girl instead for 100 k fine, and 150 k for her (negotiated that with her, not "official" price). She stayed all night with me. This YMMV. I really hit it off with this girl even in the bar. Had to make excuses to make her leave the next morning. I guess my days of wanting them to say overnight like in the Rio heydays are long gone. From what I hear from others, the girls here are usually very pro. I would not expect to have the same experience I just did with the others. I think it's just that I knew a lot about her part of town in Cali, and she may have construed that as a "connection".

Star Club. Been here before, last time 3 years ago. Still look the same. More a strip bar, but only saw one girl dance in the almost 2 hours I was there. About 25 girls. Her nice body in the first floor also became a sagging tits and stretch marks all over in the lower abdomen area once in the room. Bad experience, and totally screws up my good perception of this place from my previous trips.

La Barra. I saw this on the list and the map. Passed by this place early this evening and it is now closed.

I tried looking into a daytime action at one of those apartments listed in the map, and no one answered. Then all the neighbors started just looking at me ringing the doorbell. I had to just walk away. I believe it's the Cuerpo Sano Club. Anyone that knows any daytime action, please let me know.

Overall, PEI is definitely not a mongering place. Not even close to MDE's quality and quantity. The regular girls? They are beautiful, alright. But, if you want easy pickings on that, go to Cali. I think it's because PEI is really a small city. You can easily run into people you know, especially if you are a local girl. That usually means they have to be a bit more mindful of what they do, and who they are seen with.

Visiting a friend in Buga which is a small town about an hour outside of Cali. After landing in Medellin the other evening, I stopped and bought my bus ticket to Buga at the South Terminal. There are a few bus lines but I chose the one I used before on a trip to Cali from Medellin. I chose the last bus at 11:15 so I could sleep most of the ride and that bus seems to not have many passengers so you can spread out as far as seat choice. This ride was fast, comfortable and un eventful. I say that because the last time had a few things happen like a few accidents on the road that held up traffic and the police stopping us and boarding the bus checking everyone's I'd's and the luggage compartment. The bus ride took 6 1/2 hours and stopped at Palo Blanco which was about 5-10 minutes from my friend's house close to the center of Buga. There are plenty taxis waiting at the bus stop.

I won't be here mongering but always have my eyes and ears open to what may be happening. I do think it is a nice place to check out if you have free time and you are in Cali. Visited the big church here which is relatively famous to Catholics in and around this area and as far as Medellin since I heard people mention it there as well. I will try to post more on this town but have only been here two days, I can say it is pretty and tranquil and there are some nice looking women here. I will post photos when I have a chance.

Valuable lesson to all travelers. Don't leave your wallet / valuables out in the open to someone you barely know! Either you bring it with you when you shower or you lock it in your safe or hide it before.

As what happend in Pereira could have been avoided if I had her cedula (which I stupidly did not ask for).

I now sended mi I'd and passport via whatssapp and got hers in return by photo. We have been on whatss app and Skype since April.

She first thougt it was overcourse but then she understood and collaberated.

I have saved the photos of her I'd / cedula on my computer and on gmail and msn.com , so I can't loose them, and can get quick access to them if I loose my celulcar.

And I will check my Internetbank everyday and before leaving, making sure that there has been no whitdrawals from my card.

I will use cash more in order not to expose my PIN Code unnecesarily.

I bring a TITAN suitcase with good locks, but not unbreakable, so I will put a additional lock on it (if practically posible), and / or inside where I keep my cards and passport etc.

This babe is really HOT. So she can be The One, she can also be a thief like Karolina.

But I'm better prepared this time.
