Bucaramanga - I have been thrown aback by the beauty and plentiful gorgeous chicas everywhere here. I totally wasn't expecting this - that's Fo' Sho'!! Admittedly, the faces are probably not as pretty (on a general basis) as those of the beautiful paisas, but the bodies more than make up for it. Body-wise, the chicas here don't have anything to envy girls from the rest of the country. I've been warned about their hot-headed temperaments and domineering ways - where they where the pants in a relationship LOL!!!! I've yet to find that out for myself, though LOL!!!

Last night, I stopped by a few casas in the Zona Rosa of the Cabecera area of the city (akin to Poblado of Medellin or Norte of Bogota) and came across what could probably be classified as "so-so" material. The prices in this area are definitely inflated and for the quality of what I saw was being offered, it definitely pales when compared to Medellin, Bogota or Cali. One casa is on the second floor on the block where you have all kinds of nightclubs (I didn't get the name). The chicas were 5 on an average and wanted to sell you a botella de aguardiente and a strip-tease show for $60,000? A 1/2 hour session was about the same. The bouncer there offered to get me this hot, short spinner for $100,000. I passed. Went around the corner to this gentlemen club with a playboy bunny on the facade. It was hilarious walking in and seeing all the chicas dressed like playboy bunnies (with the ears and the works) LOL!! They wanted $150,000 for 1/2 hour. I definitely didn't take up on the offer as the girls themselves (about 15) were not displaying any type of positive attitude at all.

Finally, I went diagonally across the street into this well-known place around here by the name of Stop. The cover is $10,000 and can be used towards the purchase of a drink (a beer). The chicas charge a base fee of $100,000 which includes $30,000 for the room. But if you buy 1/2 a bottle of rum/aguardiente for $60,000, you pay only $10,000 for the room + ($50,000 - $70,000) the chica charges.

I saw two that were definitely worth it - a tall and fine blonde and a beautiful mulata. Incredibly enough, there were some very big girls and some other ones that would not make it to this caliber of casa in MDE, BOG or Cali. I conversed with the mulata and brought the price down to $80,000. I normally don't like to overpay, but considering that it was raining and that I was told that in el Centro, you find casas where you pay $40,000 (could be unsafe) + the cab fares - I figured I just go for it. F___ it!

This place was built for a nightclub because the rooms don't have bathrooms in them. The room itself was something else - it had a sofa, a lounging chair, a table and a mattress on the floor (sans the bathroom) LOL!! It was like paying for a room at a regular nightclub where you can get away from the crowd for quick shag LOL!! It probably wouldn't be so bad to take the partying with the chica there if it wasn't for the 1/2 hour you get with her and the high prices they charge. The session was cold at first - a rushed CBJ (which I had to ask for) but then evolved into a more enthusiastic form of play. We did missionary, doggy and I finished on top of her. I just spent about five nights in Manizales. I had my first taxi driver recommend a club called Manhatten when I was getting a ride to my hotel. The next taxi driver said it was not worth going to, and if I understood him correctly, he was describing it as a rip-off place. He said he knew girls that he could take me to and have a look. He told me this after I asked about casas. He was taking me to a termales that day, and afterwards he asked me if I wanted to go see chicas. I was sleepy and tired after a whole day at the hot springs, so I reluctantly declined. It seems like a good taxi drver is the way to go in this town of 400,000. I was here to take a break and be a tourist and relax anyways, so I'll have to explore the chica options on my next trip.

But some practical information I'd like to share is the Hotel Escorial that is conveniently located several blocks from the main cathedral in the center.
Calle 21 No. 21-11. It's 106,000 Monday through Thursday, and 80,000 the three other nights. Very nice place, people, and convenient central location.

I arranged a day trip at the hotel to Ruiz del Nevado - a national park that takes you to 4,300 meters and the snow line. It was worth it, but be prepared to get a headache for about five hours from the high altitude. The good thing is that the trip ends at the Termales del Otono - hot springs pools (three of them) outside of Manizales. The three pools are in the more public visitor area, but for a little more money, I'd recommend the pool in the hotel area - less crowded. The termales are about a half hour outside of town (15,000 pesos each way). I spent three days there and one evening. If you like termales, I'd recommend a visit.

First, thank you guys for all information and pics. Big big help. Im so looking forward to my first trip to colombia. I'll start by saying that I'm from Ecuador and live in the States. So I look hispanic and speak the language fluently.

Im on a budget so I dont want to spend $50 or $60 per hrs. for a chica and also not looking to spend a lot of time in the dating scene though I hear it's easy if you speak the language. I want to be able to have as many chicas as possible. Man that sounds bad! haha! I need info on strip clubs and casas that are bueno, bonito, y barato.(good, nice, and cheap)

I also want to go to pereira, manizales, and armenia. which small town is the best for the chicas? Is there any town that is closer that has good, nice, and cheap services.

To Vics Picks -- If youre talking about Pablo Escobar´s mansion in Doradal, I was there last year. Its called Hacienda Napoles just outside Doradal. Took a bus from the Caribe station. It took about 3 hours, COP 20,000.

Pablo had a large collection of exotic wild animals, which the state turned into a wild animal park. Theres lions, zebras, monkeys, pumas, parrotts etc. Theyre fixing up the mansion, turning it into a museum. I think its about 20,000 to get in. I enjoyed the trip.

As a destination, or as only a stop-over, there are places in Pasto.

Several Night Club Discotecas with girls on-site. Flamingo's on road going south just before Catambuca, a couple minutes' by car. Lots of girls, mostly from Cali. 85, ooo for session, opens 8pm There's another one on the road from the airport a few kilometes before getting into Pasto (didn't get to visit) Also motel and casas in this vicinity.
