Posts: 3074That´s the one, in Caldos. I have a friend in Ibague whose family is from there and she wants to take me there for a visit and fix me up with some cuties. Is the present FARC situation problematic there?

Posts: 368david.. where is it? i would be 99% sure there is no such place called la dorado. there may be an el dorado, however, i could not find anything on it. if there is in fact an "el dorado" let us know what region of colombia... but i've never heard of it nor does any city come up when you google it. it is the name of the airport in bogota though.
other than that the only thing i even found on it were references to myths. perhaps there is an el dorado in venezuela as the myth below states, but nothing on colombia... see below.
el dorado is applied to a mythical country in which gold and precious stones were found in fabulous abundance. the concept of el dorado suffered several transformations, and eventually accounts of the previous myth were also combined with those of the legendary city. the resulting el dorado enticed european explorers for two centuries. it was never found.
the most famous journey in search for el dorado was undertaken by francisco de orellana and gonzalo pizarro (1541), who passed down the rio napo to the valley of the amazon all the way to its delta.
other expeditions include that of philipp von hutten (1541–1545), who led an exploring party from coro on the coast of venezuela; and of gonzalo jiménez de quesada, the governor of el dorado, who started from bogotá (1569).
sir walter raleigh, who resumed the search in 1595, described el dorado as a city on lake parima far up the orinoco in guiana (today in venezuela). this city on the lake was marked on english and other maps until its existence was disproved by alexander von humboldt (1769–1859). (see parima-tapirapecó).
among the most interesting stories was the one told by diego de ordaz's lieutenant martinez, who claimed to have been rescued from shipwreck, conveyed inland, and entertained at omoa by "el dorado" himself (1531);

Posts: 368Colombia reports on Santa Marta area and Tayrona
Folks- I had JAckson erase my "All Around Colombia Reports" on the Santa Marta, Rodadero, and Tayrona areas. I did this mainly becuase I felt the posts weren't related to "sex". Further, I felt I went into a little too much of my personal life/relationship with mi novia. So, if anyone has any questions about Santa Marta, Rodadero, Taganga, or Tayrona feel free to ask away in this forum or by PM.

Does anyone know anything about the town of Neiva? Things to do, places to stay, etc?
My buddy and I are going this weekend from Bogota. We are thinking about renting a car and driving. It's supposed to be a safe drive.

Where is more action? What is the best strategic place to sleep?
Thanks for info.

Posts: 368It's a place to take your favorite chica for the night or a few nights. Absolutely don't go alone. It can be quite romantic.

Posts: 368Foxes, if it were me I'd have a field day in any town if I were there for 12 straight days. Based off your posts, I think you are going to have a very difficult time finding non-pros. You are just analyzing it too much and sound very worried about choosing the "right" place. My sense is this same process of thinking will also be the way you deal with chicas that you meet and you will have a very diffficult time creating a rapport with non-pro chicas. This is just my honest opinion.
How do you solve it? Put names of all the cities in a hat, draw one out, that's where you go, book your flight, stop thinking about the chicas and your trip, get on the plane, arrive, and go with the flow with a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye. Be courteous and don't try to jump in the sack with anyone on the first date. When you take her out, have the time of your life and treat her like a prinecess and at the end of the night give her a peck on the cheek and tell her you are pretty busy but you'll try to fit her into your schedule in the next few days because you really did have a fabulous time and you think she is a real sweetheart. That's my honest opinion bro.
By the way.... have we been through all this already with where to go and how to act etc. under the name Potoru or am I having a memory lapse?
Have fun on your trip. Being that it's Feria de Flores... that's where I would go.

Give mi your suggestions please. I have just become anxious. ;)
I will have free time from 30 July to 11 August.
I don't like to visit the town, I like to stay at hotel or apartamento amoblado above all for fucking. I did not know Pereira is like a funeral too as in Medellin in the "fiesta de las flores". In your opinion have I to consider Medellin is better than Pereira in the "fiesta de las flores"? I don't like the Barranquilla climate, it is too much hot for me. I like the climate of the mountains. In your opinion is it better to reach Medellin or Pereira for fucking in that time?
You know I will have only 12 free days, you think Medellin is the same than Pereira to fuck no prostitute girls?
Thanks for your suggestions.
