Is it true that one can walk out of Colombia from Leticia without going through Colombian emigration?

You may run into trouble on the Peruvian side in Santa Rosa if you have no exit stamp. Last time I was through there, a woman was stamping tourists in or out.

Women are perceived to be less inclined to be bribed in Peru than men. Although when there is a shift change you could wait until a Peruvian official of the male gender is there. I would not be surprised if border guards anywhere could be made to look the other way, as long as there is nothing about you in their computer. I did not see any computers in Santa Rosa btw.

This triple frontier area appears to be more relaxed, people less nationalistic, their common bond is the jungle. There was no one on the Colombian side when I arrived in Leticia from Peru, two years ago. I imagine one could live in this town for years and no one would ask for their papers. The police would probably know about you very soon, but they would leave you alone if you were not a troublemaker. It's much different from the rest of Colombia, as Tabatinga is a lot different from the rest of Brazil.

Is the condo fairly quite in terms of noise from traffic and neighbors ?

I have rented a 2 bedroom penthouse in pereira from jan' 07 to jan ' 08.

There is a room with bathroom for hire for short periods.

Located in the centre of the city it is very secure and excellent for the Pereira night scene.

Just returned to England for xmas after 10 weeks in Pereira, there are the usual chicas available in the streets and clubs. Prices from 25k (wouldn't touch them with yours!) to 120k but with a little time and effort the non pro scene here is very rewarding. If you have a car you are made.

When you leave Colombia from Leticia, do you see any official Colombia EMIGRATION? Colombia may give me shit to leave the country, so I am just wondering if going through Leticia would be an option to leave that Hell hole I'm in.

Leticia Colombia, Tabatinga Brazil, and Santa Rosa Peru share a common border. When one arrives from Peru from down the Amazon river, a customs officer boards the Transtur boat and checks some of the luggage (he checked mine). Leaving Iquitos on the start of the trip, an immigrations officer boards and does the passport thing. You will need an entry stamp for Peru in order to be present in the country legally. I would go to the Transtur office in Tabatinga and talk to the Peruvian there, Max. He can probably tell you what you need to know. I was in and out of Brasil without a visa and nothing happened....but I had to go to the airport in Leticia and get an entry stamp for Colombia.

For those looking for some action in Santa Marta.

A lot of streetworkers on Carrera 1 downtown (just in front of the beach). Many ugly ones, but some seemed acceptable (but have not tried). However, be careful where you put your feet (and the rest): I've seen (or better: I've heard) a few tranvestites there. Also seen in the afternoon three "cantinas" with loud music and some chicas in Carrera 4, east of the cathedral plaza. But I've not been there at night (be cautious: the area does not seem quite friendly).

All this is fairly downmarket. In case you have more costly tastes, you should probably try the beaches area (El Rodadero).

I think Santa Marta is also a good place for non-pros. I'm not especially attractive, but I had some difficulties to get rid of my hotel's receptionist, who did not look bad at all (unfortunately, I had another date). Won't tell the name of the hotel, of course!!! (I plan to come back for business in a few weeks).

Anyway, enjoy your stay there.

I went to Calle 35 #5B-12.
Two uninterested chica's present. Decided to come back later. I didn't.

Around the corner is Cra 5Bis #35B-10. 3 chica's there. Started talking with one chick. Got a beer 4000 COP. She told me the room was 10,000 and she 50,000 for half an hour. I said her 50,000 for all together. Was ok. She wouldn't do BBJ though. But damn, quite a good dicksucker she was.

I met this 18yo skinny tall girl (1.70) on cypercupido. She worked in a cybercafe so I went to take a look. I'd seen her on webcam before so I knew she was cute. She told me she had a 2yo son.
Anyway at 10PM after work we took a walk as she suggested although she mentioned we were walking through a shitty area of town. Cra 7 around calles 20something. So I said we'd hop on the bus for a few blocks. 1100 COP.
We passed some trannies there (nice surgery!) and in the centre of the city there are a lot of bars that play rock. Some of them were totally full, no place to sit at all. And Colombia is a place were people are just not comfortable standing around in a club. Everybody wants to sit at a table.
She said she wasn't dressed to go to a club but we went to check Heaven which is on the 5th floor of shopping mall La Victoria.
The doormen said entrance was 10,000 per person, but she pulled me back as to say it was to expensive... What?? Okayyy.
She'd never been to a casino in her life and I'd never been to one in Colombia. In Lima I go every now and then. So I suggested we'd check out the casino on the fourth floor. Stayed there for a while lost maybe 10,000. The minimum blackjack bet is less than a dollar, 2000 COP!
However I don't recommend it, the service is sloooooooow as fuck. I mean like half an hour before they brought me a vodka on the rocks.
Anyway, she had to get up at 7AM in the morning, so I suggested she might wanted to go home. She said no problem, she liked being with me. She'd also told me quite a few times on messenger and that night too that I was so cute. So I try to kiss her, right? Nope. "Things aren't like that around here." Another Colombiana that wants to play a good girl. If this was Lima I would be banging right there.
My head told me if we would go to a bar and start drinking, it would be no problem afterwards. But I just wasn't feeling it anymore and told her to go home. She lend 5,000 COP for her cab as it was about 1.30 AM and no more buses. She would give it back next time we met. I'm sure she's legit, but so far I don't feel like meeting her again anyway.
Checked out Heaven which now wasn't charging cover anymore. Not many people inside, but the music was good. Drank some and started talking to this chick, her busty friend interested me more but she was fighting with her boyfriend. Took too long and I decided to check out Mango Biche and La Cantera around la zona rosa, La Popa.
Both clubs had dancers. Mango biche had a couple of midgets hopping around between the dancers. Freaky.
La Cantera was better.
Both closed down around 3.30AM. Boringgggggggg!
Next day the Heaven's chick called me, but I think she was just hinting to get me to invite her to the concert.

The concert - Saturday

So there was a reggeaton concert in town past Saturday with Don Omar, Trebol Clan, Cheka, Aventura and Colombian group 3 Pesos. Platino was 75,000. Balcon price was 3,000,000 COP (yes, 3 million) for 12 persons, 1 bottle of whiskey and 10 drinks.
Anyway, I went by myself although some girls I talked to told me they loved the perfoming groups but didn't have tickets, hinting for me to invite them. Well, why would I bring meat to a restaurant?
So I went by myself around 7PM and sure enough tons of hot girls everywhere. I mean everywhere. People were having fun, the atmosphere was great. Way better than any disco I had been to so far.
I got quite drunk on a bottle of aguardiente 20,000 COP + 5,000 for a juice to mix it with. After a while I was talking some, but dancing more with an 18yo who was there with her 30something mother. Before I knew it she was holding her hand behind her back, jerking me off right there, with her mother not having a clue... Awesome girl. I figured she was all set, so I got her number. I decided to get some other girls numbers and went to the food stand eat some hotdogs and bought another bottle first. From here things get into a blur and I wake up at 6AM in a police cell. My foot was a little fucked up and my body showed signs off fighting. But my face was not hurt and my knuckles showed signs of some good ass whooping. The cops told me I was fighting with some guys and "sacarle la mierda" and then I fought the cops when they tried to arrest me. Hmmm. I lost my belt. Before anyone says I'm crazy, in concerts and disco's everything is thoroughly searched so no knives nor guns.

I was actually too tired to try the third hole. It's summer here and after 2 months in Lima's winter I need to adapt to the temperatures a bit.
