I was scammed tonight, but worse it was almost newsworthy.

After spending the evening at Treasure Island and stupidly not taking anyone from there, or from outside of there on the street I headed back to Centro.

Unfortunately I dont have the streets, but I think around Clemente Ballen and another street that is close to the park and Quito Ave, I was reluctantly chatting with a woman who has reddish braids. I was blowing her off but her persistence wore me down and we headed to Marco Polo Hostel.

After agreeing, normally you would expect the girl to get straight down to business because time is money for their vaginas. But this time she was doing all sorts of shenanigans. Here is what she did that you have to watch out for:

• Trying to get me to share a beer with her in separate cups.
• Delaying sex.
• Turning off lights, and the TV so you cannot see clearly.
• Tasting a sweetish powder on her nipples (at first she wouldn't let me suck them, then all of a sudden she would, and that is when they tasted sweet)
• Still refusing sex.
• Wiping something on her vagina and breasts again when she thinks I am distracted.
• Giving a super lousy blow job while wiping areas of her body you might want to lick.
• Trying everything she can to stop you from leaving.

I finally bailed after getting nothing and still having paid.

When I got back to my place I saw a white powder on my face in multiple places.

My conclusion is she was trying to give me something to pass out so she can rob me. She also checked outside the door one time during all this nonsense like she was waiting for someone to show up.

BE CAREFUL! If they are paid, and dont make it easy for you, cut your losses and LEAVE.

I have been to Guayaquil about 9 times now and I love it. I also love a good massage and have found that the Hampton Inn in central is great! I think it is $20 for and hour and it is a professional massage but no "happy ending."

I would not walk alone on the Malecon at nite. There is only one place where I would walk around at nite, and (can't remember the name) is either Zona Viva or Zona Roja - it is the high-end restaurant and disco area and has guards on every corner. Even then, I would minimize my walking around.

The name is Zona Rosa (pink zone?), zona roja is red zone usually means a "red light district", but in spanish it can also mean a really dangerous place.
