Cocnerning the post where there is mention of 2 police officers being shot http://www.extra.ec/noticias.asp?codigo=20090110161421 I must say it has had an effect on the establishment I went there last week after I left my vehicle in the garage. I went there with a freind of mine and there is a marked difference befor and after before the incident you could hardly walk in the establishment it was so crowded now it empty of the 30 rooms there is maybe 6 being occupied by chicas the place stinks of high heaven of crickets this is after all their mating season under normal circumstances the place would be kept clean on a regular basis however I presume there has been a cut in the personal so they are not maintainig it as before. On a funny note the have changed the name to IMPERIO INTERNATIONAL NIGTH CLUB WTF.

I was at the end of 9 de Octobur walking around the outside of Parque Centenario. I was around the the "Linda Hostel" and the other hour hotel next to it when I saw a woman come out of the hotel. Found a gem.

She is named Carina and she was sitting on a stool at 1419 10 de Augost just past Machala (which is a parallel block to Quito).

If you are walking up 10 de Augost away from Malecon, past Quito, she would be about 1-1/2 blocks up on the left.

I was walking down 9 de Octobure, away from the Malecon. As I passed Chile, on the left is a casino. About 50 feet from the door was a woman leaning on a pillar of a building. It looked like she was talking on the phone, but something seems odd.
