On my last trip to Quito, I met an English guy who got mugged on Avenida Amazonas. He was walking alone shortly after midnight when a bunch of teenagers jumped him and dragged him into a dark doorway of a closed shop. One of the muggers had a neck choke on him until he passed out. They took his backpack, his wallet, and his cheap watch. I told him that tourists getting mugged on Avendia Amazonas is a common occurrence.

I always tell people that if you have to walk alone after dark, never walk near doorways, walk in the street. If you see guys "just hanging around," something bad is about to happen if you cross paths with them.

I have been travelling to Quito 10+ times in the past 8 months and (knock on wood) had no issues whatsoever. Just apply common sense. Avoid dark areas. Don't go out drunk. Don't show off jewelry and watches. Simply said don't tempt anybody.

When you look at Chongos. There are the ones in Central Quito. Vibracion, Akersushuz, Apple, 122 (Bolivia), Blush, Swing, 4033,220 and I believe they are all reasonably safe. There was some talk about 4033 but quite frankly I have a difficult time believing that somebody would have the balls to rob a gringo in broad daylight on a very busy 10th de Augusto Avenue.

I visited all these chongos during day and some at night (Vibracion, Akershuz and Apple) are the only ones open after 8 PM and I felt safe in both of them. When you leave Apple they try to push one of these unmarked cars that claim to be taxis. I never do that but just walk a block and flag down a regular cab or call one with Easy Taxi app.

Now. If you venture more into the North of Quito you have different groups of chongos:

Cafe Rojo, 155, Seduccion, Mosq are all in the area of the old airport and every cab driver knows how to get you there. They are safe and generally well reviewed. Again. Upon leaving they will push these private cars on you.

Seduccion and Mosq are night time while Cafe Rojo and 155 start late afternoon but no later then 9 to 10 PM.

Then you have a hard core group of chongos further north. In the area of the Chevrolet factory. Tons of "Love Motels" with the appropriate number of Chongos.

I have been in the area for business but never visited any of these chongos.

Generally speaking the Chongos are all closed on Sundays. No exception. Some even stay closed on Monday night (Apple) or have a bare min crew on Mondays.

Things are back to normal by Wednesday. Best days and nights are Thursday and Friday.

These are not places to party or spend the whole evening. You go there to get laid!

I walked toward the area about 11 PM, and I didn't see much going in down that street and I seen two guys at a distant just hanging around, I see lot of people around here just hang around wearing backpacks, I don't like that much, I don't know what they are up to. They seem to hang out in the middle between blocks so cops don't see them so well.

last night i ate dinner at foch square, then a guy gave am a business card for a place called habana, i know if someone gives you a business card the place will probably be relatively expensive, but it was only about a two minute walk from. my hotel.

i saw no fancy lights or anything and turned around and decided to go to vibraciones, il'll walk where this habana place is during daylight to see if i find it. when walking to vibraciones which wasn't far i could see what i assume we're haitian ladies on ave. amazonas. some of the cars scared them or something and they ran off to the shadows, i wasn't about to walk closer to them.

i must have arrived at vibraciones about 11:15 pm. it was $3 to get it, and you can get a free beer with that. i don't drink beer much so i had to pay $1 extra for a cuba libre. i guess i walked in at the right time because a pretty decent looking lady was working the dancing pole. she had a nice face and body, except it was obvious she probably had kids, but the tits, ass stomach were all good. when she finished dancing she got pulled to sit with 3 locals. they bought her a beer, but they pissed her off somehow. she later sat near me and looked at me a few times, but the guys were talking to her once in awhile and sometimes go up to her, well i didn't want to get in the middle of that mess. another two ladies sat near me and talked to me trying to get me to do something, they weren't my types, and one of them smelled like a day old baby [CodeWord132], literally. another girl appeared and she was pretty good looking, she looked a little unique, she was white skinned with some freckles and a baby face. i couldn't get a good look at her body, so i didn't engage with talking to her. she was more of a the guy needs to go talk to her kind of woman. i usually don't like that, especially if you have to pay. she stood up and walked off and i saw she had awesome legs and ass, so i watched her for awhile. no other ladies danced that night. they close up their front door at midnight on weekdays, but if you are in you can keep spending your money. at about 15 minutes after minding a few women left, and a woman i didn't see left, she was pretty damn hot, but fake boobs for sure, she was probably a colombiana. i wanted to do "something" so i went to the bar where the nice ass girl was and she just looked at me, but she seemed sleepy. i asked for another drink and they had no problems selling me another drink, the lady behind the bar asked me if i wanted a girl, i asked how much and she said $20 for 20 minutes. she said she recommends the girl i wanted anyways. i said ok, gave the bar lady $20 and we went upstairs. i told the girl make me happy and i'll give you a tip, she smiled and said ok. we did some small talk and she said she is from cali, colombia. and i said ahh. woman from cali are famous for their big asses. she implied yes, big ass, big hips, big tits.

we didn't exactly have a lot of time for romance, so she did the basic bare minimum requirements which i expected, gave covered bj, kissed me here and there and got on top, and tried to extract my leche, she gave me some quick kisses on the neck and lips, and keep working the extraction process, when she got closer to finishing the process i swapped her to doggy, i told her i need to see the famous cali ass. and yeah. it was looking good from my point of view. after me trying to enjoy and prolong the extraction process for awhile i let her have it. she was quite friendly, i gave her a $10 for the good service and not being in a rush. we talked a little more and we even left the club together. if i had my phone i think i could have got her whatsapp or something, she seemed to be willing to hang out afterwards. i don't speak spanish well so i didn't want to try figuring out what could be next, and i didn't bring my translator (phone) so i gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and wished her a good night.

so i am walking back to the hotel and see a small disco called titanium is open. a guy said many dominicans, colombians and ecuadorian women are inside. i had to pay $5 to get it, but that included a basic drink, and i could indeed see lots of ladies inside, so i had to check it out. at first i was thinking lots of hookers, but later, i don't know. one girl i happened to sit in her chair, came to me and kindly told me that's her chair, in english. she looked to be a 21 year old dominican, awesome natural body. her and her lady friend were going through about 5 beer bottles they had trying to poor beer in a glass. i asked her if she wants a beer. she flabbergasted me when she kindly said no thanks. i was thinking what the hell are they doing here.

a minute later some guys that i think just went to to go smoke came to join them, so. those girls were already "booked" they definitely weren't boyfriends and girlfriends. i seen a lot of couples that definitely weren't normal couples, so i was thing they were call girls or something. one girl looked at me and pinched me and walked off. i didn't see her again, or i didn't at least pay attention. the dominican girl gave the dj a sip of her beer, so she was no stranger to the place, and another guy walked in and she grabs hi and gave him a hug, so. she probably frequents the place, but she was with some guys, another super hot girl dressed provocatively, almost like wonder woman, but different colors, she even had like a headband thing on her head. she was definitely the eye candy of the club. i thought she was a working girl, but i once seen her kiss the bar tender, so that threw out that idea. but another guy was trying to get with her, and she even walked outside with her, i thought he got her, but i think they just went out to smoke. he was trying hard to get her. later on another guy directly goes up to her and the bartender guy got mad and told him to leave her alone. so. i don't know. i don't know if the guy is ok with his "girlfriend" making money. i've seen that happen a lot. overall, i can't confirm any freelancers in titanium which is almost at the corner of joaquin pinto and juan leon mera.

But yesterday, went to Bolivia 122 around 5 pm. More then 50 guys and around 20 girls. Guys lining around the stairs to catch their girls as soon as they come down. So many fuckable girls in the range 7-8.

Got hold of Kristina from Colombia, an ass to die for and smart on looks with the glasses she wears. 12 USD for her and 3 for entry which included a small club. Can't believe you can fuck all those beauties for 12 bucks. Going to hit 122 again today and maybe a round to cafe rojo.

I walked on the street where Vibracions is, my hotel is on the next street from there. Around here the police drive around with their lights on and sounding off their sirens when it's time to close the bars around here. Last night they started at 9 PM.

I didn't leave my room until 9:30 PM and I walked on Wilson St and it looked like every single business was closed. I then walked to Foch square and a few of the restaurants were open and that's about it. Every night I see a few street walkers around here but half look like ladyboys and the other half look like Haitians. I haven't seen any streetwalkers I'd mess with around here.

I might have a look at the 122 Club on Bolivia a little later today, and have a looksey at Vibracions and if I have any mojo I can check out Cafe Rojo with you.

Condorito Bar, aka International Caribbean Condorito, Av. Simon Bolivar? E1-36 at? Avenida Pedro Vicente Maldonado, Guajaló. It is along the edges of a large square with fountains of water and a traffic overpass. __ Chicas. Prices: Entrance $1. 25, large beer, $7 chicas. Hours: 6 pm to early morning, Tuesday to Saturday. Optimal: 7 pm+.

This place is hard to pin point on the google map, because Bolivar and Maldonado do not cross each other. But I did find the area of Guajaló. E1 is next to Maldonado?
