    Drugged in Cafe Rojos

    Hello Guys,

My first time in Quito but I speak decent Spanish and a 15 year monger so I know my way round Latin countries, I came here business trip, got good reviews about Cafe rojos so decided to check it out!

Took a hotel taxi and had him drop me at the Cafe, the club was bit, there are may be 15 girls, bit dark. Got to the bar and ordered a Rum and Coke for $6, and started to chat with the ladies.

Just after new min one very beautiful girl in flower skirt attracted my attention and she said she is local, may be 19, very sexy and so started talking and I bought her a drink.

She told me the price to go in is $20 per 20 min, I thought it was a great price!, so asked her to take inside.

We paid $2 to the room maid got a room, negotiated a BBJ for extra $$ and the action was going good, after 20 min I paid another $20 to extend another 20 min. I ordered another round of drinks into the room.

Hmm at some point, I passed out, not sure how much time has passed, as if the time stopped and nothing happened, I was uncoordinated, very hard to describe the feeling, it is not alcohol buzz, I party a lot and drink a lot so 2 drinks are not going to do anything for me. I knew something had happened to me, the girl said the time was up and we need to leave, I got up and checked my pants and money was missing, very funny she said "you have 5 dollars in your pocket", I. E she left $5 in my pocket and took the rest, again. I just could not do anything, my basic instinct was to get out and get to my Hotel, I was not sure if this is a setup or if more bad new to come. I got out and took a taxi and bit scared and finally got to hotel.

Paid $5 to taxi and crashed in my hotel!

Never expected this to happen at club, I got drugged before by girls in Colombia, so I never give access to my drink to any one. I watch my stuff, my drinks.

This is very sad that this happened inside a club, I am sure the club knows or has knowledge of what is going on.

If anyone from Club rojo management is reading this, I would like them to answer.

    In Quito Late Saturday 27th

    Hi folks,

I will arrive in Quito late Saturday 27th from the USA and wondered if anyone wants to explore together. I'm mid 40's gringo. Limited Spanish but travel quite a bit in South America. Won't arrive until around midnight on Saturday and Sunday is my only free day.

Club 122, Cafe Rojos, Habanas are good places, but there a some higher class places.

One day, you will most likely be dizzy from the altitude. You should try to stay for a few more days.

But of course Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays might be slow days / nights.

You will have try some of these services:

WT69, thanks for the info-- sadly, I've already left Quito, perhaps next time I can try some of those resources. And plan better to avoid Sunday.

I did feel some effects of the altitude, but it wasn't too bad for me this time. I was pretty much adjusted by the time I had to go, haha.

What I should have known: NOTHING is open on Sundays. Well, ok, there are some grocery stores and a few restaurants and mini-marts here and there that are open, especially near tourist areas, but for the most part everything is closed.

After my flights were delayed, I got in a day later than expected: Saturday night. I walked around Plaza Fochs area and checked out Habanas and Vibracions. Total about 15 girls around midnight, average quality 6-7 (to my taste. I prefer slimmer). There were maybe 1-2 girls that would be acceptable at Habanas, but it was near closing time and the one I wanted was grabbed by someone else so I left to check out Vibracions. Vibracions was almost empty, with only 6 girls. Two Dominicas chatted me up, and I ended up going with one of them just for the hell of it. Average quality here was maybe 5-6. Many of the girls looked 30-40.

Sunday, I did some touristy things, but then went by Club 122 to see if it was open (around 4 pm). Nothing on that block was open except for the Texas Chicken place. Then I decided to go to Masajes Medellin, and it was pretty easy to find with WT69's map / instructions. Only 4 girls at 6 pm, and I selected a Columbiana that was about a 7 for me. She had a good attitude and good tits They charged me $25 all in. I guess I got charged $2 extra for being a gringo.

Did try to schedule with some outcall girls from Nenas, but since I do not really speak Spanish, it was tough. Many would not travel to hotels even though their ad said they did outcalls, not sure what that was about. I also did not have a local sim so that made it hard for those that required calling / SMS vs. Whatsapp.

Overall, Quito was a quaint city and looks like I'll have to check out 155 / online if I make it back for higher quality. But for the price it wasn't bad.

Am I correct that generally these are considered the "best" in terms of quality? Club 122, Cafe Rojos, Habanas? And is it really true none of them will have any action on Sundays? Are they at least open? Unfortunately, this time my flight was delayed and cut off a day or two off my trip so I only have Sunday really to play.

So basically for an extra $20 you can have home delivery. Another option is to get "premium service. " Usually a Colombian or Venezuelan piece of a $$ for about $130 on up. I sampled a local girl that I though was Colombian. Tall and a 9.5 for $130. Very well worth it. Non rushed service. GFE. Did not charge up front in fact I had to remind her. I will definitely look her up when I return. If you want her digits send me a private message.

I was in Quito on business but I did sample the local goods. Not bad! I look forward to going back some day.

Thanks. According to the map, 515 prices are in between the $15-$20 places and the Dollhouse / Extasis places, right? I remember DH and Extasis always being good.

    SW, Chongos, Home Service

During my recent visit to Quito I decided to sample all three forms of service. Using WT69's map I set out to explore the options. There are SW on Amazons Ave. Closed to Foch Plaza. Even after 3 strong mojitos the tranny's do not do it for me. Stay away from the SW scene. I also spotted SW at the corner of Manabi street and Venezuela in the middle of the day. Again, not the finest pickings there by a long shot. My conclusion unless you are hard core avoid SW's. I did not sample many changes and stuck to one. I went to Marques de Sade on the north end of Quito. Pleasant atmosphere. Entrance is $3 which gets credited to a beer or if you like hard liquor half the price of a drink. I like rum and coke so I got mine for $3 after the credit. They do not skimp on the alcohol. The girls will not come to you for the most part so when you are ready feel free to go right up to the one you want. Pay the $20 fee at the window and do your thing. Twice that I wen there I was pleased with the service. One word of caution do not go near closing time as the service will be a little rushed. Taking a cab there is simple. I downloaded an app called EasyTaxi. There is no Uber but cabs are reasonable. Longest ride I had was to the airport $25 Other rides will range rom $1.50 to $10. When you come out of the chongo depending on the time you may get a pirated cab but the chongo vouches for them.

Another alternative is home service. A local girl may run you $70. First hand review of Jesus' services

I just returned from a 17 day trip to Quito and used Jesus' services based on Gary's recommendation. First off I would recommend getting a quote up front for services. Jesus tends to drive and drive to jack up the rate. He will either charge you mileage or a discounted rate per hour $13. While cheaper than a cab Jesus tends to drive and take you to many places to rack up hours. The rates and times quoted below are very high compared to other tour operators.

Some facts: I contracted him to go to the Cotopaxi volcano. He took a convoluted route using dirt roads and when they became impassable we had to head back the way we came. Later I found there a perfectly paved road that goes to the national park. After the visit to the park he took a "short cut" through rural roads back to Quito he became "lost" and added more time than necessary to the trip. Again, we wasted hours driving when there was no need. I tried to exchange a Samsung Galaxy in exchange for some of his services as he had expressed an interest in the phone. At the end of the "tour" he stated he could not accept the phone as the car he drives is not his and he needs to give the owners cold hard cash. If you accept the $13 per hour you will easily spend over $100 per day on most tours, plus meals etc. Comparable tours with knowledgeable guides are available for half price from Community Hostel by the Mercado Central. I went to Quilotoa and a visit to a native families' home for $50 including lunch. I did the mitad del mundo trip and wasted over $100 when a similar trip would have cost $10 or under for the bus and a guide.

Another fact: you can obtain most handicraft at Quito's Mercado Artisanal for the same price without having to travel to Otavalo, Cotacachi etc. Jesus will claim that the ponchos and leather goods are cheaper in those cities. After you add the cost of his "tour" the price of the goods greatly increases. If you want to shop stay in Quito. If you want to learn about the culture and history f other cities take a tour. Don't get me wrong if you do not speak any Spanish and need hand holding and want a private chauffeur Jesus is your guy. Otherwise a reputable tour operator with English speaking, knowledgeable degreed guides is a better choice. Plus you get to interact with other people from around the world. Paying somebody $13 an hour while most of the time he waits in the car for you may not be a wise choice if you plan on sightseeing in Quito. (Community Hostel offers a free walking 3 hour tour of colonial Quito. BTW) Taking cabs that cost 2 to 5 dollars while en route may be a wiser alternative. I referred 2 clients to Jesus and in return Jesus promised a free ride to the airport in gratitude. He picked me the day I left for the airport and upon arriving at the airport, he said he had to charge me for the ride to the airport since I had not used his services the day before. Again he changed the tune after the fact. Twice he explicitly broke his word and reneged on a promise. Definitely not the way I like to do business. The trip to Panciillo BTW costs $5 or under by cab and you can read the history online. No need to make it a drawn out affair driving throughout the city. I am thankful for the lesson and when I return to Quito next year I willies alternate means of transportation.

    Nice time in Quito

    Hey all,

Just returned from Quito and enjoyed my time there. Special thanks to WT69 for providing additional info. Spent 6 days there and checked out 6 chongos. Also, did several outdoor tours to take advantage of the natural beauty the country has to offer. Thought the altitude was going to bite but it wasn't bad and quickly adjusted. So here's my summary:

Day 1- Landed in Quito and was impressed by the modern airport and the fast processing through customs. Met with a prearranged taxi and headed to Cental Quito about 45 minutes away. My hostel was located in a perfect location only a few blocks from Plaza Foch. Very quiet and didn't have to worry about the noise from the bars and clubs during the evening. Didn't use the services of Jesus, but there was a taxi that just happened to be near our hostel during the evening. Luckily he spoke a little English and offered to drive us to the chongos. We decided to pay him per / HR which was a cheap option. First, we headed to a place called Manzanas (Apples) - not sure exactly where it was or whether it is on the list but it was close to Cafe Rojo. $3 to enter and had 15-20 chicks. I saw about 3-4 that were doable. After a drink or two decided to move on to Rojo and see what they had to offer. It was about 10 pm and the place was crowded. Nice line-up and decided to take one upstairs to the room. Can't remember a name but a good time in all, not GFE though. After my wing got his rocks off it was time to close the curtains and turn in for our early tour the next AM.

Day 2- After a 9 HR tour returned to central Quito during the evening. After watching the USA vs ECU futbol match in the Plaza we decided to check out a new spot and since it was within walking distance we decided to check out Body's on La Niņa. There were about 12 chicas on tap. Not too impressed with this place as I only saw 2-3 quality chicas. I decided to pass but my wing went with a light-skinned Ecudorean who was tall, gorgeous and had the perfect body. He was having some technical difficultly with his plumbing so he didn't last long, in and out of the room almost like a revolving door. It was getting late and had another early tour the next morning so we checked-out for the evening.

Day3- After returning from our tour we went and ate at one of our favorite spots-a little hole in the wall schwarma place called Lot 10 I believe right near the Magic Bean in the center of the plaza. Great food and very inexpensive. Didn't have a lot of time to play this evening so decided to walk to Habana's near by. This was my favorite place of all the venues we went to. About 25 chicas present with all shapes, sizes and colors. More dark-skinned girls than the other spots and had Domincans, Colombians, and Ecuadoreans. The girls wore sexy nurse uniforms and while drinking at the bar we enjoyed seeing the strip dance routines. I chose a dark-skin Ecaudorean and she put on an energetic performance and I was satisfied with my choice. Now it's time for bed and yet another early tour in the morning.

Day 4- It's Saturday and started late in the evening after eating with trekking buddies who are not in the game. After ditching them we decided on 515 who several taxis said was the place to be. I assumed the talent would be better than the others due to prices but was sadly mistaken. $10 to enter and a mandatory $10 drink upon entry. This was around 10 pm and about 15 chicas were sitting around and apparently had better things to do as they were all glued to their cell phones. Didn't see a single stunner and couldn't understand the high $60 price tag. If I understood him correctly, one of the employees was saying that this place is considered more of a gentlemen's club than a chongo, hence the high costs. Me and my wing made up only a total of 4 dudes in the club. Guess the good thing is you don't have to compete with a bunch of other dudes as was the case in the other places. Here you could take your time and choose. Unfortunately, there was nothing good enough to choose other than an ice cold Pilsner. We slammed them down and took the 1st taxi smoking out of there.

Headed back to Plaza Foch after that and checked out Vibracion. Only 6 or 7 chicas here and the quality was pretty good. Problem was there was about 3 dudes to every chica which was quite annoying! And even more annoying was the local guys who wanted to treat these chicas as girlfriends and salsa dance with them on the middle of the floor. Really? Oh well. To each his own.

Decided to leave Vibracion and head back to our favorite spot for the trip, Club Habana! When we arrived, there was a security guard standing out front who said the place was closed. Couldn't understand why on a Saturday it was closed but since it was getting late we decided to head back to Vibracion. We didn't bother to ask why since our Spanish is muy paquito. Once inside Vibracion, we saw a chica that was working a Habana's the previous night. Since she was attractive and also eye flirting I decided to take her to the habitacion. There I asked her about Habano's and she seem to say that the place was shutdown due to them not having some type of paperwork. She said they were reopening on Monday or Tuesday. Oh well, we did our thing and she turned out a stellar performance. A perfect cap for the trip as Sunday was ahead and slim pickings on that day.

Day 5- It's Sunday and decided not even to bother to see if a chongo was open. Went to the plaza and watched the NBA finals game 7. Luckily even though the country has the alcoholic laws for Sunday, guess the local restaurants figured out a loophole that allows you to buy drinks with the purchase of a meal.

Finally, I enjoyed Quito. The friendliness of the local people, the outdoor beauty, and the variety of chicas available for service. Wish I could've checked out some of the other popular spots but time was not on my hands. Even so, I hope to return soon!
