Went to Club 122 (the one on Bolivia) today and it was open!! El Swing and the other 122 are still green taped and closed.

I had brought a copy of my passport and my original driver's license, but they would not accept either. They insisted on original passport. Had to go back and bring the passport to be able to enter.

Well worth it. It's still as good as I remember it, with lots of 7's and 8's. I went around 4:00 p. M and there were about 20-30 girls and double the amount of men. They still have the strip tease shows, but the new thing this time was they have a live sex show everyday at 5:00 pm actual real sex on stage between a man and one of the 122 girls.

Yes it is. I was worried all the Chongos were closed after my experience on Friday. But I went there last night. Pretty nice Colombian lady. Don't like rating but I would say she's about a 7 - she was the best looking one there at the time but there were lots to choose from - "Quieres streeptease o solo pokey pokey?" - "pokey Pokey por favor" - you do have to bring your passport so thanks to whoever posted the heads up on that. I was also given a card for Vibracion last night. So presumably they are open.

Well so much for my mongering in Quito. Cafe Rojo was taped closed. The cab driver took me to 155 - also closed. He told me there were three on that street. One other taped closed and I didn't find the third.

I can confirm previous posts about some closings. Yesterday I found all three of the chongos in the 122 vicinity to be closed down:

122 on Bolivia.

El Swing also on Bolivia at the corner of 10 de agosto.

The third one I forgot the name but it's on Juan Murillo, between Bolivia and San Gregorio.

All three places had the green "Clauserado" tape on the doors from the Ministro de Interior. This is interesting because in the past, the SRI (which is the Ecuadorian tax authority) would occasionally close a business down for not paying the correct taxes. The business usually would open back up sooner or later. This looks to be something different. Hopefully it won't last, because 122 is (was) awesome.

Also, at Guajira (Almagro sort of across from the Marriott) I was turned away for not having an ORIGINAL I D. A color copy wasn't enough. This is new. In the past, usually no I D was required at the day time changos, and NEVER was I asked to produce an original. (Someone below also posted that he was turned away somewhere due to an I D problem).

There is some kind of enforcement crackdown going on.

That's a bummer as I too thought the Club 122 was a diamond in the rough.

I've also been to Club 515 and The Dollhouse. I found the Dollhouse way over priced for the talent ($200 +++) for a Chica and the room. Club 515 was more tolerable with a total of $90 for 30 min. Rooms were nice and and one nice Cuban Chica an (8) but lifeless, the next time had an energetic Chica that was well worth it.

But for the money Club 122 was better (although the place was swanky as was the room) I found two different chica's (a 7 and a 8+) that were worth a hell of a lot more than the $12 they charged. Just wondering if there was a crackdown on some of the Chongo's in that area.

Last night around 8 PM I walked from the Hilton to Foch Plaza and on Amazon around 18 de Septiembre I saw 6 or 7 streetwalkers over the span of 1/2 mile.

I talked to one black girl. Very pretty face and a smoking body - $25 for her and $10 for a room near by or you can take her to your hotel.

Didn't partake because I was pressed for time. On my way home later that evening about 11 PM they were gone.

Not sure about the quality of service but I thought it was at least newsworthy.

I am visiting Quito and haven't found a massage parlor that gives good strong massage and provide extras. Seems like they provide the extras and don't know how to give a good massage like the Asians.

Any recommendations?
