Posts: 439Chongo next to NightKat - affecting Kat's hours
I was in NightKat on Wednesday. The place was empty until right around 10pm. Turns out the girls are working in the chongo next door. After the place closes, they move over to NightKat. A bunch of girls and guys all came over at once. This is how one of the workers at Kat explained it to me. Not sure if this is a trend that will continue but anyone going to Kat might as well wait until at least 10:30 or 11 before showing up. You used to be able to find girls there in the early evening (6+).

Its not like police is trying to keep people out of chongos is just that after the incident in the Factory discoteque they are checking on all the places and see if they have the right permits and fulfill the requirements to be open

This time the police is checking every bar, every restaurant and every chongo, since the fire in factory bar at the south, since 15 people died, now everyone in the mayor's office is going crazy about the safety inside every house, and bla bla bla, besides this is the year when Quito elects a new mayor, so every one is bitching about this and that.
As usual expect this to last only for 2 weeks, then everything is going back to normal.

It seems that maybe they are trying to shame (or scare) people into not going to the chongos. If guys/girls have to worry about cameras and their families finding out, maybe they will stay away.

it has been four months of isg silence. i had nothing more to say last december and used the time to pursue other projects. but i may have a few posts left in me to provide value and context of the scene here. one example is to address an issue that is becoming more prevalent in quito: the police.
during my first six months in quito in 2006 i remember the police coming into a chongo only once, in cheers, where i was id’d. they left and business immediately resumed.
since january 2008 i have seen the police at least a dozen times. mostly they take to identifying the chicas, asking a handful of guys for id, then leave, music plays and the party continues. the only place i have seen them escort girls out was in body in february, a few columbians not having proper id (but clearly being of legal age). 4033, nitecats, 3 star, club 122 are other visits that come to mind.
it was february when i noticed the smaller chongo amorcito (next to el swing) closed. this didn't surprise me as the boys running the place regularly poured a long line of fuel on the floor to light it up in a fire display. it reopened earlier this month as el swing'cito, a different door leading up to the same chongo.
about march 5 i showed up at 3 star to find it shut down, a large government sticker "closed" pasted across its main door, autographed by the lead administrators of two government departments. it stayed shut for a month, quietly reopened and is back in business. they use a different door now, bypassing the "closed doors. " oddly i have not seen lord byron (the owner) since before its closure.
i celebrated 3 stars reopening in early april by taking a hot, slender negrita down for a record nine fichas in a single night. sweaty, sticky, lovely.
also in march i noticed sala vip (the green door place) was closed down for a few days.
then, as reported on the board, la luna was shut down on april 4th or so. i was there on a thursday, one day before it was shut down, spent 6 hours in all three clubs. i never saw anything close to a 13 year old girl. i popped a couple 20-somethings, including one in a sweaty 75 minute session. i continue to see la luna girls 'spread' about the city in different chongos, indicating to me it has yet to reopen.
up to this point i thought it was a matter of the chongo owners "renegotiating" with whatever government figures are involved. a matter of hand-greasing with a greater percentage of donated cash. tonight i saw something different.
recently in club 122 i found a newbie chica, 23 years young, to rock my world. first session was 35 minutes long, seven orgasms on her part. i've never experienced anything like her before. she is quite the precedent. second session she voluntarily gave me a bbbj, offered bbfs, plus lubed up her asshole for entry. the fifth session escalated into a double ficha, 60 minutes long, for twelve orgasms. today i entered club 122 at 4:45pm for round six. we made 70 minutes of bareback loving.
at about 5:20pm we noticed the music stopped, everything went quiet. we kept on fucking till 6pm. she turns her phone back on as we dress, a friend telling her "the police are outside. "
we exited to the main room. all guys and girls are just standing around, quietly talking. i walk to the front door. it’s closed. no one is getting in or out. hmmm. whatever. i buy another beer and start reading the miami herald.
five minutes later all the chicas are screaming and rep001tering. christ, i thought they were machine-gunning the front door. turns out they were fleeing the tv cameras. i say "hi mom! hi dad! " while locals around me bust a gut laughing.
my girl comes up to me, asks if there are cameras. i nodded yes. she winces. i gave her my copy of the herald to hide herself with.
what the fuck? who are these odd looking women? they are taking notes and pictures. all that was missing was a csi squad to collect dna samples from the stained sheets.
and who are these two young girls standing at the ficha desk? i’ve never seen them before, and i hit club 122 on a daily basis. are they on some police-education tour -- or being planted for the media? i don’t know. but these older women sure do like their note-taking.
finally the front doors are opened. with beer in hand i walk through two lines of police to exit the front yard, onto the street. no one ids me (i always carry my passport as the police like seeing the original, not a copy). as they exit many of the local males are covering their faces. at the entrance more women are taking notes and digital pictures.
huh?! i ask a group of local males is la galeria (200 juan murillo), next door to club 122, a chongo again? yes, they replied. sheesh, i didn’t even know it was back in business. went for supper.
so what is going on? it is obvious since january 2008 there is a new, heavier policing policy implemented. that a greater pressure is being exerted. before today i have never seen such scrutiny being applied during a police visit. where this is going it is tough to say. it’s a little bit premature to say the end of the world is coming. unless someone from the government’s "chongo division" steps forward to enlighten us all we can do is continue to monitor things as they develop.
the only thing i can say with certainty is: thank fuck the montreal canadiens beat the boston bruins the other day in game 7.
i have four or five days left on my visa, then its time for cali, columbia. i am going to be two-fisting beers here in quito in a final blowout weekend. time for nitecats ...

The factory wasnt a chongo, it was a bar, nothing to do with fuckclubs.
Also I found a new one, near chongo #10, la gata caliente (in Tungs list), in Veintimilla Street, it has a 415, painted over the door. I haven't been inside but I got a card in the street, telling me about this place. The girls in this place ask 15 usd for a "greek massage", I don't know what the hell is that, so anyone is free to go and find out.
This house is open Thursday to Saturday. I don't exact times, or the price of admission fee.

Got in the hotel around 10, staying at the Sabastian, not bad, rooms are a bit small but ok. Damn these streets are noisy. Bring ear plugs if you want to get some sleep. Hotel had a guy named Josey, speaks a bit of english. As soon as I mentioned the address, he knew it was Vibracion, he suggested Nightkats but I figured we had time to checkout both. He was right, Vibracion was not vibrating much. Kind of dead, one girl immediately invited herself to the table and kept on asking for a drink until I gave in. An older black girl had the only ass in the building and started a pussy cat dance show that was ok. Girls sitting with me had just no ass. Prices were $30 for half hour, $15 for 15min. Probably should have had her give me a blow since she had a nice face but I just got in and had to have a nice ass for my first one. So we headed out. By the way, it was 6 per person to get in with one drink.
Next stop was Kats. Lot nicer club. Right across from the Marriott with a neon sign now that says Kats. Immediately recognized one of the girls from the posts. Man they get ragged out quick in this business. I'll look through the posts and update my final report with name. S Anyway, at least 4-5 girls in here I would do some ass diving with. Few minutes after we sat down (same price to get in by the way, but premium drink tickets. One word of advice. Stick with the beer. Should have known not to go with scotch, now it's 10 on Sunday and I have a splitting headache). Few older girls that really looked like they would fuck your brains out. But if I wanted old *****s, I would stay in the states. Picked out a cute little thing named Diana. Started to take her in (same price. 30/30m), but it was getting late and I wanted to have a really good fuck my first night, and I was kind of beat after the flight. So after a few drinks and some fucked up pink wine the girl begged me to get (reminded me of strippers in the states. Getting paid by the house to push drinks), I was ready to get to slamming. At the hotel, she revealed an even tighter body than I imagined. This girl was toned, no fat on her at all, solid bubble butt, perky see cups and a sexy fuck-me hard look that I love. Tried to slip it into the ass all night but she wasn't going for it. But man she knew how to ride a cock. She came three times, I love how much latin girls truly love to fuck. My friend is coming in Sunday so she gave me her number and said she has some sexy friends. Oh we paid the house like 60 to take her out, and she wanted 70. Sorry guys, I know that's too much to pay probably but forgive me, it's been over a year since I've had a mongering trip so I wasn't even thinking about the price. I'll do better. Anyway going to hit some daytime places today after I kill this fucken headache. Would be nice to get some good weed while I'm hear, it would help the next day after cheap beers and scotch. Over and out.

Anyone know where Factory was located? I don't recall that name in gringolandia. Anyway, had to be a messed up situation.
No need to be overly-paranoid, but I advise fellow mongers to know where the exits are in these monger spots that we frequent. In some of the nightclubs and chongos that I've gone too, there was barely any room to move. A couple of places that come to mind for me would be Touch Me and gringolandia disco No Bar. Just be cognizant.

Fire at Ecuador Nightclub Kills at Least 14
Sunday, April 20, 2008
QUITO, Ecuador — Flames started by fireworks swept through a nightclub in Ecuador's capital on Saturday, killing at least 14 people who were unable to escape through the club's padlocked doors, a fire official said. Sixteen people were injured.
About 300 people were attending an afternoon event at the "Factory" club in southern Quito when someone lit fireworks, sending sparks upward that ignited material on the ceiling, Quito Fire Chief Jaime Benalcazar told The Associated Press.
"The exit doors were closed and padlocked," he said. People were trapped inside.
After controlling the blaze, officials removed 14 "completely burned" bodies from the club, Benalcazar said. Some 16 others were injured — four seriously and 12 with minor burns, he said.
Raul Carrera, who worked with the club's sound system, managed to escape with others through the club's bathrooms.
"We couldn't save anyone because everything was steam and thick smoke. It was really hot," Carrera said.
He said he lost one of his friends but couldn't look for him because "everything started falling ... there wasn't time for anything."
"There were people with extinguishers but they weren't able to put out the flames," he said.
Inspectors were investigating whether proper security measures had been in place.
The event had been a music awards ceremony.
