I am here in Quito right now and went to 515. The door was $28 and a free beer but I could have been taken since I speak no English. The girl wanted $186 (yea, weird number) for 1 hour at 515 so I laughed and told her I could pay that in the states (I wish). I left shortly after.

I wanted to know if there were any decent massage joints here, nothing so shady that I contract a disease by laying on the table either.

Also, what is the site I have seen mentioned here for quito escorts? Scorts something or other. Any help would be appreciated.

It has been asked a few times here, the ride from the new airport to my hotel (Le Parc) was about 1 hour exactly.

    Cheers
Hi, I'm new here and also a local. My english is not bad but I will certainly make some mistakes, sorry for that. I take part in a local forum called scortsecuador, which has great information but it is only in spanish. Not speaking spanish will be troublesome beacause most likely you won`t find someone who does in the clubs (actually not even the common people). Well 515, Extasis and Doll House are the expensive late night clubs but why pay so much if you can find good material in the $20 clubs. I`m not sure if I read about 155 in this forum, it is like Cafe Rojo but it opens later. Anoter one is the Apple the average of the girls is lower but it is not bad and sometimes you can find something of real value. Last Saturday I visited the Mosq (north of the city) , it is nice in the inside and you can stay after the close hour but you must go there with a car o have a reliable taxi to pick you from there (actually that is the best for any place).

About massage, there is still the one in 817 el Espectador with the same references to get there. I`ve read about others but this one is the more popular among us.

You can search the internet in blidoo dot com dot ec, in the section "contactos", but you must consider that at least 90% put fake pictures and they won`t speak english. But you will also can find some good options. I met a columbian girl, cost $50 (others ask $70) for 1 hour which included massage and sex, I went to a house but she can go to your hotel if you pay the taxi.

    Greetings

I will check around and report back.

If you haven't done so already, search for the Quito reports by Tungurahua. Some of his information is old, but some of it still applies. It'll be a hit or miss.

With regards to massage parlors, back in 2007, I went to the massage parlor at 817 El Espector. The street is not located on any map that I have for Quito. The key landmark was the Renault dealership (I don't know if it's still there). The exact street address for the dealership is Ave de Los Shyris N37-179 (in case you take a taxi). It's about one block north of the Quicentro shopping mall. As you face the Renault building, El Espector is the street on the right. Except for the street number of 817, there's nothing on the door to indicate that it's a massage parlor or any other kind of business. You just knock and one of the girls will let you in. Again, this was back in 2007 so the information might be outdated.

    Good luck!

The new airport is open. Word has it that the drive to Quito is almost two hours. Pretty ridiculous. However, cafe Rojo is still going strong. See post #2208. I live in SA so for my next trip, I will fly through GYE and skip Quito entirely.

Yes it's open since a couple of weeks. The old one is shut down for good.

From what I heard the new airport is about 60-90 minutes from Quito. Really a shame indeed.

    How screwed am I?

I am heading out Tuesday on business to Quito and started realizing (I had been ignoring the fact) that I only know one word in Spanish. Aqua.

I was able to handle myself ok in Rio however many people there speak English. I guess I have two questions.

    1. Is it even worth attempting to go to a NON tourist spot, such as a chongo or are there people there that speak English?

    2. Do many of the touristy places (not chongo's) cater to English speaking only folks like myself?

    Cheers!

Just spent some time at 122 in January. $2.50 to walk in the door, which gets you a beer or water. Still $12 ficha for 15 minutes but they're a little flexible with the time.

There was a lot To choose from when I was there, but none really did it for me for some reason until I spotted Katy, short dark haired Guayaquilena hanging out RIGHT at the bottom of the stairs. Gorgeous chest and body, no kids 20 years old. She was a little cold with the service, but I went back 3 days in a row and she was good at following instructions and adapting. Not a lot of enthusiasm, but not a bad attitude either. It think she's just really young and not with the full program yet.

Saw your post on the Quito thread and thought I would touch base with you since I will be there next week on business. This will the first time I will be in Ecuador and I do not speak ANY Spanish so this should be quite the adventure. I have done a few trips now to Rio / Brazil and Aruba but really look forward to heading down your way next week. Doubt I will need any advice but it sure would be nice to have a local I can ask questions to since the people I will be doing work for are not mongers at all! .

I do have one question, I am staying at Le Parc but I am not sure how far (and average cost of a ride) by cab or walking I am from Rojo or any of the other really good locations. Any idea?

    Cheers!

    Cafe Rojo Newspaper Article

Just came across this great article in El Comercio about Cafe Rojo, published on March 2, 2013. What a great place.

    Quick Quito Report

I've been meaning to write a report for a while but never got around to it. At a loose end right now, so here goes. I'm on a long meandering trip through Ecuador & Peru for a couple of months. Quito was my first stop a couple of weeks ago. I'm new to both these countries, but know latin america pretty well & speak good spanish.

First night I tried to find Guajuira, but the taxista didn't know exactly where it was, there was no sign and a bunch of goons hanging around in the street, so I took the taxi back to Foch Plaza to wander around. I saw Akershuz, but I hadn't made a mental note of that name and there was a guy standing outside looking at a muscle mag. I thought it might be a gay club! As I was walking away, a group of very obviously non-gay guys went in, so I followed. Inside were a bunch of 4-5 standard girls. After a couple of cokes, I picked one with a nice face (sorry, I forgot her name) , paid my $20 and off we went. She was enthusiastic enough, but very hurried and to be honest I like a bit of time to get into it. I really didn't like the standard of the room either. I decided from then on to look a bit more upmarket. When I finished it was just after 9pm and there were some much better girls there, including one with mountainous bolt-ons. More of her later.

Next day I called a girl from anuncios, but she never showed up. When I called her again, she had switched her phone off. I won't bother with that again.

So I got a taxi up to Cafe Rojo. The common area was decent, and after a while I picked a tall slim girl called Daniella. The room was better than Akershuz, but I still wasn't really that keen, and it was all very hurried again. She had a nice body, very unlike most latin girls, and was sweet. Under the right circumstances I'd have seen her again.

Next day I went back to Guajira during the day, and ventured in. No sign at all. Do they want the business? Anyway, right inside the door, offering to buy me a drink, was the girl with the big bolt-ons. She had a long double-barrelled name, shortened to "Ma-Yo". I had a long chat & a squeeze of her assets. It turns out she often moves on to Akershuz when Guajira closes, as do some other girls. We went upstairs, to a much better room which I felt quite comfortable in, and with a bit more time. She performed very well indeed, maybe a bit much of the "Ooooh Baby" all the time for my taste, but she certainly rang the old bell for me. I went back in the evening, sat for an hour looking at the other girls. One in particular was very pretty but when I spoke to her she really didn't seem friendly, so I had another session with Ma-Yo. Next day. One session (I was a bit under the weather). Last day. Two sessions. In fact I was quite tempted to ask for a todo la noche, but as I had to leave at 7am the next day I gave it a miss. I'll be back in Quito towards the end of the trip, and I'll go straight back to Ma-Yo. I know a lot of guys like to see a different girl every time, but when I find a good one I stick with her for a while.

    So. On to Cuenca.
