Ezinho, I have a few questions of my own. Reading your previous posts I see you have done some travelling along the coast of Brazil.

Hey Tung, first of all, I was just giving you a hard time in the Photo Gallery thread, so don't take it personal or anything! And if you see July again, tell her Eduardo de California says ¡Oye, Muñeca! As far as Rio de Janeiro vs. Quito is concerned, I am actually leaving Quito tonight, so when I get back to Sex Prison I am going to do a write up on the scene here in Quito vs. Rio, with special emphasis on the cheap centro casas and clubs of Rio vs. the casas here in Quito, since it wouldn't be fair the compare the termas to anything here!

In terms of Brasil, I love the country, and as far as mongering goes, it is probably the best place in the Americas to go for that (although I haven't been everywhere here, so who knows) My main complains about Brasil, and Rio in particular, were more about day to day life there, since I lived and worked there for an extended period of time, so my perception of Rio is different from most people's on this board who either only go there for a week at a time, or who spend an extended amount of time there, but only for recreational purposes. As far as the Northeast is concerned, I have spent a little time in Fortaleza, and I like everything about that city EXCEPT the mongering scene. Also have been to some smaller cities North of FOR, and had a great time, although Portuguese is a must to get non pro action, but women are all over the place up there. There are still many other smaller cities in Brasil I would like to check out (Natal and Joao Pessoa come to mind) but I got a case of Dengue Fever when I was in Sao Luis and had to go back to Rio and cut my trip early, maybe next year...

In terms of prices, I have to admit, Quito may have the cheapest mongering scene of any capital city in the Americas, although looking back on it, if you think Quito is great, Brasil will blow you away! I found getting a BBBJ in this country to be quite rare, and the girls here (even the pros) are much more conservative than in Brasil. The exchange rate in Brasil is awful right now, and it may hit 2-1 soon, so that's something you have to think about if you go there, although there's always Vila Mimosa, which I think is R25 a screw (about $12 now)...so I guess even the low end places in Quito are a better deal currently, since it's $7 at places like Touch Me, and the quality is IMHO, about the same.

So, for mongering and women, I would use this baseball analogy: Rio de Janerio is like watching an MLB game, the Northeast of Brasil is like watching a Minor League game, and Quito, is close to that as well, maybe a notch below (AAA league maybe?) To put it in perspective, mongering in Tijuana would be like watching a bunch of 6 year olds play Tee Ball.

Anyways this will be my last report from Quito, too bad you didn't get here earlier, we could have had the photo contest that I talked about in the photo gallery, lol. But I was here for work, and it sounds like you have a lot more free time on your hands than I do, so you probably would have beat me. If you are touring South America, I think you should visit Colombia - especially Medellin. Yes, the country as a whole is somewhat unsafe, but I was in Medellin last year and did not feel unsafe at all in the city itself. I walked around by myself during the day. I speak 2nd grade level Spanish. Obviously, one needs to use commonsense and take precautions (not walking at night, avoiding bad neighbrhoods, etc). The women in Medellin are simply amazing - I have never seen that many great looking women at such a high concentration. The prices range from US$20 to $80 or more depending on where you go. Ezinho, I have a few questions of my own. Reading your previous posts I see you have done some travelling along the coast of Brazil.

I will be doing a large circle around South America for the next two years and I would like to get a proper context of prices, if I can. From the boards I have hit of Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, it seems there are few options like the consistent low pricing of Quito. Columbia sounds incredible (and the Quito-Columbians are incredible) but increased crime risks are present, something I am not keen on. I will take my chances on an active volcano but individuals of an unstable country are a different matter.

Some of your posts slam Rio as an inflated and overhyped place (for the chicas anyway). Understandable, for the girls of the towns and small cities of China were much better value than the big cities. You seem pretty bullish on the northeast coast. As I didn't see any of your posts quoting dollar costs, what kind of prices were you looking at there? Anything remotely similar to Quito?

The northeast coast would be a perfect location for me. After my volcano climbs here I aim to head to Coca, float the Rio Napo to Iquitos, then the Amazon to Manaus (sidestop to Venezuela) and continue on to Belem and the coast. I could be in dire need of a few (dozen) women by then.

on a place by place review:

(9) la fragata. i didn't hit this place for the longest time. seeking some fresh feline i finally did on a thursday night, i think. fuck me! two girls were smoking hot, one of them being andrea, 23 (?), columbian. i was pretty smashed this night (stayed there for some 7 hours pounding back beers). after talking with her for hours on the couches, i took her up to a room but don't remember much (stupid! stupid! stupid!), other than the brief movie footage i have of her. andrea is a raging 10 / 10, an awesome hardbody, pretty face, full breasts, firm ass, and very friendly (she talked with me for a long time in my sickly broken spanish). i have been going back there almost every night to see her again, but no show. the other very nice feline i have yet to talk to. other than the first time, only seen her one other night -- and i was out of money when she showed up!! arggh! nothing worse than being a caged rat in a cheese factory. there are a couple other nice girls usually present, 6s and 7s, but for this place the two tenners rule. my initial romp with andrea was $20, but on my next visit i noticed a series of new signs posted on the walls advertising $10 chicas for 15 mins. if i ever see one of the two tenners (sounds like an orchestral group) there again i am lining them up for multiple sessions, let me tell you. it would be serious value. but the hit and miss reality of la fragata is getting me down. c'mon andrea, have mercy on my poor soul ... ;-)

(10) nightcats. another place i was 'too busy' to get around to for some time. finally did. been there twice now, never done any buying other than the obligatory two beers. the biggest fault i find with this place: the doorman & cashier strip me of my camera upon entry, putting it in the cash register for safe keeping. that makes willie melt right there. no chance for souvenir pictures?! lame. but even the chicas are lacking, compared to the kind of quality i am becoming increasingly used to in other casas & clubs. a couple 8s is as much credit as i can give the girls. the rest i pass on. but again, it is hit and miss. it stands to reason that the truly hot girls -- being busier -- might be on off-premise calls, who knows.

(11) streetwalkers. on the days preceeding the santa semana holiday there were some hot streetwalkers strolling about. as i stood at the corner chatting to one, the group of girls she was among all suddenly bolted, running down the sidewalk. i was like "what the ... ?!" then this police truck whipped around the corner, cops jumping out, running after the girls and rounding them up. ten minutes later i found a black beauty in a chinese restaurant, hiding out from the cop trucks, and escorted her to a nearby hotel. i vastly overpaid (so i think now), being intoxicated, $20, but she was my first ever black girl so i didn't give a shit. she was 19 or 20 (don't have my notes with me), from the coast of ecuador. quite innocent in nature, which was nice. she was self-conscious too, not wanting to remove her bra & top (despite her having nice sized breasts). to my surprise, being quite tall and full-figured, she was awesomely tight. wow. i would definitely do her again (for $10 -- or less). as for the rest of the street action, it has been very very slim pickings since santa semana. maybe the police have them all in rehab. ** shrug ** but it matters not, for there is plenty of action to be had in the clubs and casas.

and that, dear international sex guide, is my due contribution. i remember finding this board years ago, but never thought it would be applicable (the mainland china reviews at that time were minimal and simplistic -- hint: girls are everywhere in china, 650 million worth). south america, from what i am continuing to gather, is an awesome buyer's market. hot euro-descendant girls at bargain basement prices. fuck dudes, i regularly spend $100 in a night in a bar back home, get shitfaced and leave without even a scent of pussy (no doubt it is mostly my fault with my free-wheeling traveller's mentality. committment?! i'm still young! what the hell is that ...). when it comes to daily expenses in quito, because of the chica opportunities here, the daily average spending limits are swept away without second thought.

oh yeah, as for transport between clubs and casas, i always do public buses and walk. never once have i taken a taxi. after three weeks (going on four) never had a problem. of course, even when i smashed, i am always alert, with a small (dog) pepper spray bottle in hand. if i see a group of suspect peeps / youths i cross the street or do an about face (turning around), but it is very rare that i do this. i think the biggest trick is not to get complacent, to always remain alert. i suspect the locals fall into the trap of relaxing their guard. and ... hmmmm ... probably the biggest factor for me i guess is that i have dark hair, brown eyes, tan easy, sooooo the blond hair and blue eyes 'tourist mark' is not painted on my forehead. many locals mistake me for a south american (from brazil or argentina or ...). i always carry my digital camera. i have to get as much as i can of these experiences on 'film'. :-o

okay, it is 4pm, i have a beer in my hand. i am ready for another perfect day of feline hunting in quito. i sure hope this entry leads to more casas and clubs being suggested, cus man, as i rest between climbing the five active volcanos of ecuador (tungurahua, reventador, guagua, cotopaxi, sangay) ... this city rules !

Drove out to the airport the other day and wanted to drive by Cafe Rojo just to get an idea of location. It was around 1400. Didn't see anything that looked like a spot with a guard. Saw a couple of resturants and hostel on the SE corner.

Well, like the web site you posted said, the address for Cafe Rojo is Holguín 117, right off Av. Amazonas, not Diez de Agosto. When I went there, there wasn't a guard out front or anything, so you can't really look for that. You said you drove to the airport, so I assume you live here in Quito? FYI, for those of us that don't own cars here in Ecuador, you can catch any bus on Amazonas going to the airport, and it will drop you off literally one block away from Cafe Rojo.

Also, just to give a heads up to anyone thinking about eating at the Chifa restaurants in this country-don't do it! I came down with a horrible case of food poisoning this weekend and will be bedridden for pretty much the rest of this week, sorry to SocalJarHead for not being able to meet up with you this weekend, maybe next Saturday? And I had planned to go back to Touch Me every day this week and see my Esmeraldas chica, ¡Maldición!, I just hope she isn't being banged by too many guys, lol.

At first I said Guajira was the best place in Quito, than I said VIP was, but I was wrong, went to Cafe Rojo today and it is by far the best place I have been to here in Quito, in terms of sheer beauty of women.

Cafe Rojo is near the airport, in fact it's almost literally across the street from the airport! They might as well just put it in the airport, next to a duty free shop or something. As with most of the best places here in Quito, there's no name outside, so I actually walked by it once before I even knew what it was. Went inside and sat down on one of the couches, and got a beer from one of the waiters. Looked around and there were hot women everywhere, this is the first place I've been to in Quito where ALL the girls are do-able, no fatties that I saw (it turns out the vast majority of girls there are Colombianas, so maybe that explains the hotness?). I saw a girl that looked almost exactly like Shakira, but even hotter, so I waved to her to come over, but she just waved back at me, so I got up and went over to her. She has fake titties, which I personally don't like, but the Colombian doctor did a nice job. We started chatting and I noticed she was kinda acting weird, after about 5 minutes of conversation, she just up and walked away! I'm not sure what happened, if she has ADD, or maybe I smelled bad or what, I don't know.

After that weird episode (that reminded me why I don't like blondes lol), I called over another girl, that was almost as hot but not quite. Decided to take her to the room, $16 for 30 minutes, she didn't want her picture taken, so I'm just including a picture of the room. Cafe Rojo is definitely the best place in Quito, it's just too bad it's taken me almost 4 months to find it!

As I was leaving and headed back to the Hotel Embassy, I took a slightly less direct route, walking over a block or two to the left and then cutting back to the right to get to the hotel. As I was walking down the street, a bunch of youths suddenly started running after me. They tried to sneak nonchalantly for a bit, and then they started running. Fortunately, I am a pretty fast person and was able to get away from them rather quickly. Had they caught me, I probably could've defended myself a bit, too, but I am sure they probably had a knife and such. As I rounded the corner, I ran into some police officers who were with dogs, and they actually sent the dog after the guys.

Yeah tell me about it, you can't walk one block on Av. Amazonas at night without a group of street kids eyeing you up and down like a group of hungry jackels, it's ridiculous. As for the police here, they seem nice enough, and although some of the female cops are kind of cute (although most aren't, lol) they're not the least bit intimidating; I'm not even sure if the lady cops are armed or not.
