An ad for Kasa brothel/escort service also published in the Ministery of Tourism guide. I have not had a chance to visit this place but I'm very intrigued by it. I went by it around 2:30 PM and it was closed. I called later in the day and I was told they were open 3 PM on to 6 AM. The guy on the phone said he had 20 plus ladies available and half of them Colombians. He asked me a lot of detailed questions about what I was interested in and seemed ready to fill my order. The price he quoted was twenty dollars but I didn't ask about outcall service or TLN. This place is pretty far North in the outskirts of Qutio. You would need a car or rent a taxi by the hour(ususally $15 per hour. As far as I could tell it looks like a big house with lots of parking controlled by a guard.

Another ad for First Class escort service that I posted an ad on previously. The ad was in the Republica Del Ecuador Pasaporte Turistico guide for 2004 put out by the ministery of tourism. There was a bit of a scandel that there were ads placed in the guide for a couple of brothels and escort services.

Ad for Viejos Tiempos (Old Times). This place is bar/night club. I've been told that it not totally a brothel but rather a lot of hookers work the place looking for customers and then its off to a hotel, apartment or a por un tiempo(for a short time) hostal or motel.

I've not had a chance to partake in the action there but I did stop in on the way back from a happy hour at another bar around 9 PM which was to early for much to be going on and the live music was to start around 11 PM. There were three guys sitting around talking to some of the girls and 10 or so girls total. I felt way to tired to hang around very long and the music was WAY to loud.

over the last month or so le have raided numerous brothels around ecuador including quito to round up **** girls working in the brothels. also, they have closed down some 14 brothels in the calle manuel larrea area in preparation to reconstruct and remodel the area. for an interesting article about this for those of you that can read spanish go to:

the raids for **** girls has been an effort to cooperate with the u.s. and to show progress in dealing with trafficing in persons(tip). i've heard stories of the police barging in banging on doors and checking ids of the girls and of the girls running to "safe rooms" in the clubs. also, i understand le were also looking for colombianas without proper papers. late one afternoon i was having a drink at the marriot bar which overlooks the brothel at amagro 1273 and all of a sudden i saw about six girls go out on to the roof top of the brothel and hang out for a half an hour or so. this was during the same period of the raids so my guess is that the girls were out on the rooftop evading the law.

i've read in some other newspaper accounts that there are some 60 brothels in the quito municipal area not to mention sws! the issue here seems to be to addressing the need for zones of tolerance once a group of brothels are shut down in order to remodel the area and not to treat prostitution as a crime.

A bit more information about the group of clubs that I posted information on in my very first post on page three. I was at a party and the topic of those clubs came up. One long time female American resident said that the government made an effort some years back to move all the brothels to that location. It sounds like it worked for awhile but other clubs popped up around Quito later on. A couple of Ecuadorians stated that the clubs in the area are very dangerous which coincides with my impression. One story I heard was of a jealous fellow that decided he was in love with one of the girls shooting and killing the girl and wounding her trick. Also, the motels in the area according to them are not so much there to service the brothels as they are places for couples that are having an affair or for young people to go that need a place to go away from their parents roofs. Seeing how many latins live with mom and dad well into their twenties this seems like a pretty necessary service.

I called the number for the ad on Calle Veintimilla that is listed in my previous posting of various ads. It is the third one down in the right hand column. A female answered the phone. It is not a club but an escort service. I was quoted sixty dollars an hour service at home or hotel. I was amused that she divided the available girls into groups based on whether they have children or not. The best she had available according to her was a 26 year old Colombian that does not have any children. I'm not in a position to follow up on that one. I'll leave it to you all.

Yes, rooms are on site. Very difficult to locate, but it is off of Amazones, two blocks before circle. Cost is US 25 for like 30 minutes. Please dont pay more than that. I am pretty sure she is local, she has been at that bar location for several years.

Plus most of the working girls go to Tequila's bar after like 2am, because they are open until 5 or 6! Have fun, but becareful, they love to prey on gringos.

An Ecuadorian friend told about a place at 557 Jose Tamayo so I decided to check it out. It is pretty small but it is very clean and nicely decorated inside. You go up the stairs to a small bar and lounge area. Up another flight or two are the rooms. I was there during the week around 7:30 pm. After I settled in with a beer one of the girls ask me if I'd like to see what chicas were available. There were six girls available with another couple occupied with guys in the lounge. I choose Nicole a 23 year old around 5 feet two or so. Excelent body with a cute face. Definately a good choice. She was really into it and came twice. The charge was $20. The place seemed pretty quiet but I'm told it is really busy on Fridays and Saturdays. It is open 12 pm to 2 am. Attached is a photo of the club during the day to help you spot it. I hope to go back for a photo of Nicole. To get there have a taxi take you to the corner of 12 de Octubre and Veintimilla and walk west a block to Jose Tamayo and turn left. It is a couple of buildings in from Veintimilla. I've wlked by the place many time when out for just a walk and never had a clue that it was there.

My friend told me about four other places that sound pretty good so I'll more to report on later. Cheers

Are these rooms on premis in the club, and if so, how much for how long is the norm?

Attached is a scan of the card for La Movida. This one of the clubs
of the scans of various line ads I posted previously. The flip side which shows a nice diagram is a bit pornographic so I omitted it. It was a bit tricky to locate the club since the Quito street numbering system has changed. 6953 is the old number for the address and barely shows on the building. A guard toting a shotgun saw me wandering around trying to find the place and gave me the card and directed me upstairs. Not much of a club. There is a bar about 12 feet by 12 feet and, lounge area about the same size and three small rooms for the girls and customers to consumate the deed. The lounge has a very small stage and pole for strip acts. There were two girls drinking with four guys in the lounge area and a very over the hill lady in the bar. Nothing to stick around for thats for sure. Might have been a bad time of day (3PM). Possibly later on in the evening some decent talent could start coming in. Some decent talent could have changed my perception of the place! It is located across from the Estacion Trole Norte station just before Ave Le Inca.

Ad for "legs". I visited this club around 2 pm on a Sunday. A very
large albeit seedy club. Nothing that caught my interest. Not much going on with only four 4 - 6 girls around. All looked like they were hung over. Very likely there is a lot of action late night. You would want to have a car to go to this club. There is a very large parking lot. You could get there by taxi but since it is so far out it might be hard to get a taxi back downtown.

Ad for "Models". Another one I have not checked out. I know the area where it is located and have shopped in the market there many times. You will notice that they promote Colombian models.

At least a third of the ladies I've visited or have chatted with are from Colombia.
