Both of these are an easy walk from the Mariscal or Placa Foch area. At Habana the bouncer patted me down (he patted everyone down) and haggled over my producing a passport photocopy which he felt ought to have been 'stamped' but eventually he just held it up to the camera and let me in. I had the correct money ready as I always try to do, but no attempt to charge me more than the $3 entrada. Upstairs into the club area. Pilsener with your entry chit if you ask for it instead of the cheap nasty brand (forget what it's called). Small dance area, disco lights and so on. Maybe about 20 women when I went in. I wanted someone slim and nearly all of these had a little bit too much around the middle. One that looked a bit doable but I didn't get her quickly enough.

Akershuz was a similar story. Ground floor, undisguised entry, but I found the women were barely passable. At $8 maybe, but at $20 I'd like something a bit better.

The attitude at Blush, which again does not exactly have catwalk models, makes up for some shortcomings. It's very relaxed, the girls flirt gently and it is quite easy to circulate. Circulating is harder at the nightclub versions and the disco lights AMP up what is quite ordinary for the benefit perhaps of the beer-goggles visitor. The attitude in both places also seemed rather disinterested. What I would like is the standard that can be seen of women at 122 but without the sardine dogfight to bag one. Maybe, as WT tried, it's a case of getting there at opening time (but if the girls are free to choose the working hours, I don't know, it stands to reason that the best lookers will probably opt for maximum business periods).

Sorry to hear about you upset stomach, WT. I heard you could get most things at the chemists here but maybe not. I always carry basics for upset stomach but if asking for them abroad of course the generic is more likely available (Loperamida for diarrhoea, and Loratadina for mozzies if travelling outside Quito). Pleased to hear you are back in the saddle.

Does anyone know of reviews or has been to clubs in north of quito? There are many on the lists but I can't see any recent reports or even reports (other than recycled listings on various sites). Just that it's a long way to go if they are shut or if it's a no-go.

After being sick for four or so days it was time to get out and get some.

I had planned to go to Club 122 when they open at 10 am.

Because if you don't it become a zoo or like being in a sardine can.

So many drinking and just watching the stage show. They get drunk, bump into someone and the fight starts.

So go early, leave early.

I had taken Cialis and was waiting late when DiegoSan4 and go with our taxi guide Jesus to some clubs up North.

So, I was working on the List and waiting, but oh oh I feel like I should go to Blush, but wait that is six or so blocks from my hotel.

So La Gata Caliente is only two and half blocks away and now that it is open, off I go.

First I had to show my passport. Buy the $3 drink and choose one of the Chicas. There was only a few guys there. Very relaxing.

It is a nice Casa, very comfortable, quiet, a few TVs on and nice lounge chairs.

I was introduced to about 7 Chicas. Yes, they are a little older, maybe 30+, but my dick did not care.

I picked Paola. She was nice and friendly, had nice size tits.

The price was $23, I tried to bargain her down to $20, but it was a no go.

So, off we went upstairs to the room, with a noisy bed.

She should have paid me for getting her off. She laughed when I asked for the money.

So we had fun and that was that.

Went down to 122 today, slightly begrudging having to take my passport original but hey-ho, check it out. Stayed about ten minutes.

A) standard on offer seemed mostly higher than Blush.

B) there must have been over a hundred people packed in there. You would have to squeeze through people downstairs to cross the room. Some guys were standing upstairs near the cubicles (sensible enough, make contact with the girls as they come out, without the crush factor, I thought.) Then the bouncer moved them along.

C) With those sort of numbers I don't think many of the girls' minds would be on personal service. When there is that many customers, wouldn't anyone try to push up their prices??

Skipped down to Blush. My chica from yesterday was all over me as soon as I walked in. Ok. Gave her a whirl (and the same $5 tip -- once you start and so on.) She asked for 30 tip afterwards which of course I treated as a joke, damn cheek.) No BBBJ today. Hung around finishing my beer. The beer here (Pilsener) is much better than the rubbish they give you at 122. I'm eyeing up a slender creature that has a slightly oriental look. Eventually get her to come over. I don't know if she knows I have just sessioned with another girl but want to avoid a confrontation (they sometimes get possessive after a second shot). Get the $12 on the table quickly and thru to the back (there was a guy holding his camera phone at an angle I didn't like but hopefully it was accidental and he was not doing a collection. New chica is Scarlet (written Scarleth, indecipherable the that way she pronounces it). She is ok once she gets going. Reasonably good looking except for the inevitable stretch marks as the kit comes off. She ask for tips afterwards (some of them ask first, I suppose maybe to gauge how much effort they want to invest in it.) I told her if I have to tip all the girls then I will go somewhere else. (I don't mind a tiny tip, occasionally when it's exceptional, but not as standard. Just encourages greed IMHO). There was a delay getting out as some guy outside was creeping security out. Amused myself by reading the decorative notices on the wall. "No arms allowed inside. " But they aren't patting people down the way they do in some American clubs in the suburbs. I like the laid back feel of this club; but maybe I should just get out more.

122 demanded my real passport. They must be the only people in Argentina apart from the airlines. No big deal as I had barely got my second wind up after blowing my load in Blush. Handy that they are so close to each other. 20-year old called Baleria keeps making eye contact with me as she tries to dissuade another person.
