Stopped by Kalua today (a Wednesday) on 10 de Agosto. At 1. 00 pm it was CLOSED. However, the young guy at the Gold Hotel (adjacent) told me they were open, walked out with me to show me the entrance, and was surprised to see that it was closed up and locked.

Bottom line: They remain in business but can open later than the 12pm posted time on Tung's maps.

I was wandering if anyone has had any success using the Google map from report # 1790 (Quito page # 26). Tungurahua posted that report in January of 2009 and credited Full Throttle with the initiative, and someone updated it six days ago. In particular, I was wandering if anyone has used an iphone to sucessfully navigate to the chongos from the map. I'm not sure what kind of accuracy the iphone would have in Quito. My last time in Quito I had a hardtime finding a number of chongos just because I knew the street they should have been on, but not how far down. With the blue dot showing you exactly where you are on the iphone map, I think it would be almost impossible to miss any chongos. That is of course if it is accurate. Arrived in Quito a couple of days ago and had a chance to partake today. Went to 557 Jose Tamayo. One of fav from the past. But the gate was locked as was the door. I arrived in Quito yesterday and went to Cafe Rojo at 330 pm today. There was about 20 chicas and 20 guys on my arrival, when I left at 530 a few more chicas and 30 or more guys. I just got back last week from 10 days in Quito. I have familty there so I was visiting them but did have a chance to hit some chongos 4 times. I went to Cafe Rojo, Swing and 122 (Bolivia& Juan Murrillo)

You are going to get mostly covered BJ in the casas. Guajira, went around 4 pm, friendly place, $2 entry gets you a drink took water instead of beer. About 8 chicas, imo the best was a low 6 others 5, did not want to waste anything here. Disappointed in quality.

Café Rijo, arrived about 5:30pm, $4 cab ride from Marisal, as advertised, about 20 girls, imo 6 to8's. $2 entry and $20 for 15/20 minutes. Chose a coffee colored girl from the coast. Personally, I like his approach with listing a Google map location, a review of the place, and the costs. However, it is clear that he utilized a hidden camera, and everyone being recorded were unaware of the recording. That is what troubles me. I think it's awesome to be able to see exactly what the clubs are like during business hours, and the merchandise being offered. But I would not like my face in one of these videos, and I'm sure these guys wouldn't either. What do you guys think?

I went to the massage place at 817 calle Espectador. I went in. 3 ladies were working. I inquired and apparently only these 3 ladies work at this place. Two are 5/10s and one is a 6/10. Massage was quoted at 12$ but without extra. 20$ includes massage and extra.
