comments: in 2006 total expenses for six months worked out to about $8000, or $45 per day. in 2007-08 i estimate it averaged about $60 per day, or $11000 for six months, mainly due to a better hotel room ($12 per night on a monthly deal), better food, more fichas and drinks.

for me the $7 and $8 clubs shitkicked the other clubs. i consistently found more quality in the cheap clubs than the mid or top range chongos. for example, of my top ten list of chicas 9 of 10 were discovered in the $6.50 to $8 chongos, only 1 in a $20 chongo.

on a consolidated net basis for 2006-07-08 the 650 to 800 penny chongos took 262 of 356 fichas, or 74%. the 1000 penny and up clubs took the remaining 94 fichas, or 26%.


seasonal fluctuations

for a long-term camper like myself i am of the conviction the farther one gets from christmas and new years the better, the ideal being after santa semana, making the mid-year months the best -- april to september. i propose the farther one gets from the holidays more 'part-time' chicas in small towns are willing to wander away from home and family to make some bucks. particularly my favorite, precious and tender 8-9teenies.

to support this conviction my three favorite months of fucking were may 2006, july 2006 and april 2008.

for 2008 january showed some newbies. february and march were slow. the new talent in april was explosive. there were more newbies than i could handle, making it a great last month to say goodbye to quito.
