I wonder if any hotels have a stove I can use. If I stay somewhere for more than 5 days, I have to be able to cook food in the way that I like it.

You will find some furnished rentals there. In the past I have seen some advertised for tourists, but it was rare and expensive.

I will look into it more when I'm there in May.

Can anyone suggest the best way to rent an apartment in Asuncion for one month, in late July and early August? In the past I have been well-served by the recommendations on Argentinaprivate. Com for rentals in BA, but a look through this forum reveals no comparable recommendations for Asuncion (and I apologize in advance if the recommendations are there and I just have been too stupid to find them).

I am an experienced old monger who has made more than 20 trips to Latin America but never to Paraguay. I do remember some Paraguayan beauties working in Buenos Aires, and I would like more of that. I want an apartment that is located near the downtown privados. I like to take a late morning walk to experience a beautiful young woman or two or sometimes three if I got a good night's sleep. Sometimes it is nice to ask one of those young ladies to my apartment for dinner and sex, so I don't want the doorman or the ladies in the elevator to be giving me dirty looks.

I like unpretentious yet reasonably classy, sturdy old buildings, natural light, a stove and frig, plants, quiet, and perhaps a balcony.

I am a NorteAmericano looking through the tropics for a place to spend the winter months when I retire (in a couple years or so) , and I just might enjoy the January sauna people write about. I can make myself understood in Spanish, but my diction is ugly. Espanol is something I want to work on this summer along with some writing and lots and lots of beautiful women, the sources of life-long obsessions.

Info about apartment rental is most important, but any info about car rental, Spanish tutors, and exercise clubs would also be appreciated.

May I find some way to repay you for your kindness.

In my memo dated 21-11-10 I told the good time I had in AVDA RODRIGUES DE LA FRANCIA 226 with Yegros (Harem accompaniantes) where I went three times.

There was an atmosphere of true lust not find anywhere I visited: all girls anal with no discussion; amusing way to accompany client completely naked when you leave. Very relaxed atmosphere; very juicy and orgasmic girls I experienced.

I love 'The Lido' that diner close to Park of the Heroes that is a perfect throwback to a 1960's American Diner. It's not a theme restaurant, it's just the way it is! Classic. Also I love the way that EVERYONE is walking around with a cup and straw and thermos flask of cold water for their cooling herbal drink. I mean EVERYONE.

These are the casa's that I visited with a small comment underneath:

1. Avda Rodrigues De La Francia 226.

Three below average girls and one doable girl, probably a 6. Good session, BBBJ and Anal. 100, 000 for half hour (70 plus 30 for anal).

2. Ave. Eusebio Ayala 270, Piso 1 Dpto. 7.2

Just one girl but very nice. Couldn't do her though as rooms all full! She was hot though. 70, 000 for half hour. Probably has potential later in the day when more girls are there.

3. Ave. Eusebio Ayala 270, Dpto. 4.3 Chicas.

Two ugly girls. Didn't bother.

7. 14 de Mayo 1008, with Manduvira (Deseos Agency)

Visited twice. Same situation both times. One nice looking girl (7) and four ugly girls. Did both the nice looking girls on separate visits. 700 for half an hour.

8. Azara 1270, at Curupayty, (Babylonia).

Same situation again. One nice girl (7. 5) and four ugly girls. I see a pattern here. Did the nice girl and the price was 80, 000 for half an hour.

Final Points:

Mercardo Quatro seemed perfectly safe to me as did Avda Eusebio Ayala. All taxi drivers and hotel staff confirmed the area is completely safe. There is an HSBC branch there and HSBC do not put branches in dodgy places.

Casas seem to have one or two good looking girls and the rest are completely uninteresting in my opinion. It is a bit hit and mis although it is so cheap that you end up spending more on cabs than on fucking. 70, 000 is equivalent to $15 USD so who cares if you get some duds along the way.

Asuncion is a quirky and bizarre place and well worth a visit. A great mongering destination when comparing price with quality but nowhere near as good as Medellin in Columbia for overall looks and value.

Would be great if someone might one day compile a list of the really top end places in Asuncion. Would love to see what they are like after having previewed the girls at Azara 1565.

If using the Asuncion list please be advised that whilst a brilliant piece of work some of the places have closed or moved on as pointed out by another member.

The nice Crowne Plaza is on a points sale until the end of February. Only $30 worth of points a day. I stayed here on the same deal for a month in October.
