I need your advice. In March go for one week to asuncion. I m planning to visit brothels during the week and normal discos and bars during the week-end. Could you advise me the best brothel in Asuncion and some discos where I can meet normal, local girls. Also I think I can meet nice girls in shopping centre, like latin girls very much, even learned spanish for this reason.

Gabtar. Enjoyed your comments. Could not agree with you more.
While I stayed in South Brazil for 1½ years in a town with 80K population, I went to town to get out amongst the local folks. Nothing but positive experiences for me while my GF was working or unable to accompany me. Everyone smiled. Of course some people knew whom I was. There goes the rich American, haha. The young supermarket and clothing stores girls are easy pickings. So regardless what country and city you're mongering in, it's to your advantage to get out and not just hiberate in a hotel until 10 PM evenings.

Posts: 8Personal views on Paraguay and Asuncion
I just spent 2 months in Asuncion and I'd like to share my views, and comment on some of the other reports. Just for the record I loved it, and intend to return for 4-6 months each year.
One observation, if you don't speak Spanish to an intermediate level, and by that I mean if you only know the basics but can't conjugate the common verbs at least for the tenses ¨I do, I will do, I could do, I did, I used to do, and Do it! ¨ then you won't appreciate Paraguay. Hardly anyone speaks any english at all. Learn some spanish somewhere else then come here. If you don't understand what those conjugations mean then you don't know enough spanish to come here unescorted.
I came with intermediate spanish, and I also studied for 6 weeks at a spanish school called Idipar, in Manduvera, near Colon, 81K for 3 hr private lesson. Cheapest in South America, and only 3 blocks from Deseos, if you want that after-school relaxation therapy.
My reasons for loving Asuncion and Paraguay.
Very laid back and friendly. It might be the heat but no-one was agressive, up-themselves or unfriendly. I hired a car for 3 weeks, and even the drivers, while only giving a cursory think about obeying the road rules, did everything politely. I hardly ever heard a horn blow in anger.
Not full of tourists. Yes it is dirty and a bit boring, but it isn't overrun like Cusco, Foz de Iguazu, Buenos Aires, or Rio, and the prices reflect that. Travel outside Asuncion by car. It is a truly beautiful country, green, subtropical, fresh fruit for sale everywhere, picturesque mountain scenes, villages full of germans or italians. The lack of tourist infastructure means so much is unreachable by public transport, and there are only a few tour operators working. To visit the waterfalls and splendour in the national parks you need a vehicle. The locals all know where to go, and its like a code that has to be cracked. The 450km drive to Filadelfia in the Chaco is said to be boring and barren. I found it full of people trying to survive, gas stations every 60km or so, and with a countryside of suprising beauty. I never felt bored, either going out or back. Filadelfia itself can't be described, just experienced.
Although it is definitely a 3rd world country, they are trying, and it is definitely more modern that Peru, Ecuador or Bolivia in a lot of ways, but not so much as Chile or Argentina, making it for me just the right mix. Also, for me, and it must be the German influence, but they sell a decent sausage, not like the rubbish you get in Argentina.
I found sitting outside the Lido Bar with a beer that comes in an ice bucket about 5 in the afternoon, watching the passing parade and the flag lowering ceremony over the road at the Parthenon to be just the thing after a long day.
Cheap. I stayed at the Palmas del Sol hotel for about $25 per night, negotiated down from $37 because of my length of stay. Chica friendly, clean, with air conditioning and fridge in the rooms, the best breakfast feast in South America and a cheap restaurant at night if you want it. I took a number of different chicas there without fuss and nothing but a smile from everyone.
I have also stayed at La Espanola, cheap, cleanish, average breakfast, with air-conditioning for 80K GS per night. Chica friendly, but because I paid for a single room every time I brought a chica back they charged me an extra 40K, even if it was for an hour. That was a year ago.
Go to any of the shopping centres during the week, like Shopping del Sol, Villa Morra or Paseo Carmelitis, and you could fire a shotgun and hurt no-one. Why: because they cater to the 5% with money, and they only come out at weekends. If you want to find the real paraguayan people go to Mercado Cuatro. Some people find it overwhelming or unfriendly. I found it intriguing and fascinating. The little alleyways, the mix of people and things for sale. I had a good haircut in a salon near the meat section for $3 and it was as good as any anywhere else. I also bought clothes, Cds, a mobile phone (with genuine 8 day warranty), and heaps of other stuff. I also never wore anything expensive or too dressy. Of course people looked at me, but all I did was say "hola, hace demasiado calor, si" and they all smiled and answered me back.
Try riding the colectivos for a new experience. Getting on an off in the microsecond the driver takes to change gears is a lesson well learnt; likewise watching the driver steer, change gears and drink terere at the same time; the venders jumping on and off selling a glass of cold coke or sprite for 25cents, fresh fruit etc etc; but at least you can pay with a note and get change, try that in Buenos Aires, Santiago or Sydney. I bought a colectivo guidebook in one of the bookshops in Plaza Uruguay, but normally everyone knows where all the colectivos go. For example my hotel told me to take a No 30 to get to my spanish school, doorstep to almost doorstep for 2100GS, and the school told me a No 23 or 24 would get me back, also 2100GS. 2100GS will also get you to the nearby towns if you want to.
As already posted, cars are not cheap, but that is because there is hardly a middle class here. You either have money for a car or you don't. Cars retain their value. Look at it from the glass half full aspect, when you want to sell your car it will still be worth about the same as when you bought it. Try that in any 1st world country. My teacher at spanish school said the cheaper car yards are near the intersection of Santa Teresa and M. Lopez. There are also expensive car yards there as well, but there's a lot of them.
Cheap pussy.
The paraguayan girls are gorgeous. It must be the mix of southern european and indigenous, but they are outstanding. I wasn't looking for a girlfriend so I personally visited and can vouch for the following privados. I won't comment on most individual girls because everyones taste is different. I didn't have a single bad experience, a couple of average ones perhaps, but in the whole excellent.
Deseos. 14 de Mayo 1008. Easy, clean, 120, 000GS per hour. I had 5 girls there and repeated with all of them
Valkiries Azara 905 Up the stairs, 1st door on left, clean 120K per hour, Excellent
El Eden Azara 495 Top of the stairs, 200K per hour, poss. Gringo pice
Claus II Tte Farina 1442 Top of the stairs, 120K per hour. Lorena was perfect for me and on a couple of occasions came to my hotel for 300K per hour.
P2K Azara 1340 walk in, 100K per hour, a bit dark and the bed was collapsing. The girl was enthusiastic
Hot Girl Eusyabo Ayala 326. 3rd block on the right after the road becomes 6 lanes wide and changes name from Pettirossi at Mercado 4. Walk in. 120K per hour. Beautiful girls.
Ceci Productions 2 girls with the best breasts in Asuncion. I'm not supplying the address. Look her up on asunsex and ring for directions. 300K per hour, reflecting the area. I repeated a number of times, even at the price.
I didn't go to any nightclubs so I can't comment. For the record Í'm Australian, 56, and Í'm well over loud music and drunks late at night.
It's a country well worth getting to know, slowly, at their pace, with a thermos and mug of terere.

Posts: 12Paraguay is in my heart forever!!
I have lived here in Asuncion for more than two years now and have great respect for the women and the country.
Yes if you want threesomes you can go to Cafe Arena and get it really cheap or if you want to go to any apartment for the pros they will help your whim any time. The non pros will more than likely not participate but that is normal in most Catholic countries like Paraguay. When you do find a non pro they will make you very happy because they really are the best under the sheets than any other women that I have met thru out the world. I am sure glad that Paraguay is a long ways away from the tourist spots because the women really don't know how incredibly beautiful they are. They arent stuck up like the surrounding countries.
I think why the women here are so aggresive is because of the Chaco war and also if you look around the women are hot and the men are fat.

Johan, you're right that the discos aren't all that expensive, but they can still be all that loud. Big speakers and amplifiers are cheap in Ciudad del Este.
I actually had my so-far-one-and-only threesome in Asuncion. There was more story behind it than I'd care to share in public; but I will say it was my last night in ASU, that trip, and it was something of a "grudge match."
Would like to get back some day, though, for Bavieras on ice at the Choperia del Puerto - and the weekend-evening buffet, if it still goes, at El Ciervo Blanco. Not to mention Aquarela and the Paulista Grill, in Villa Morro.
Cheers - Westy

The sun here can shine very hard here and temperatures can rise as high as 40 degrees Celsius EASELY! Thats why they all walk along with their thermos filled with ice water and terere
If you speak spanish and love hunting non-pros this is a very good place to B.
IMHO Asuncion is way more safe then Caracas, Bogota, Sao Paulo or Rio.! But don't push your luck when your put on your rolex and are walking in a not so nice area at night. YOU could be in for a NASTY surprise!
However I do live here for about a year and I must say it can be a bit BORING. I do miss the sea side.

And somehow I think just touching a chick is enough. Why talk a lot? They think we white people are all millionaires. Like the ones who own a Villa here and drive AMG Mercedes.
Nice to see there are fellow guys out there who not just want to come over for Pro action. If you need some wing guy hit me up at my hotel.
Well here are good news.
Mercado 4 seems like a hidden Casa de Masaje. I dunno but the women who sell look at me and seem to wait for something, sometimes they even talk about me with their female friends and giggle. I like that. (well, afterall women here love threesomes.) But Iam damn bad at opening women (Yes Iam scared of rejection LOL) If someone has Pick Up skills PY is THE place to be imo.

Posts: 446Thank you very much Dickhead and Westy for your point of vue,
I still think that Asuncion is a good destination for me. I am not so interested in touristic things, I much prefer dating girls and learning the language by talking to them or just by reading the newspapers or books or watching the tv....
So there are 99 % of chances that I will go there in a relatively next future....

Posts: 3359While conventional thinking says Paraguay is land-locked, I'd argue that the river border makes it less "land locked" than say Bolivia or Afghanistan. But yeah, it's kind of boring culturally. No famous paraguayan authors, musicians, playwrights, inventors, or anything that I am aware of. However, and importantly, I have mongered on five continents and paraguayas can remove their clothing faster than any other women on the planet I have encountered so far. BTW nationalities are not capitalized in español so don't flip me any shit about that.
The all-time record was achieved by a paraguaya by the stage name of Lise. I picked her out of the line-up, she entered the room, and in fewer than ten seconds she was naked and I had entered her. I do believe it was around seven seconds.
And after the deed is done they are in no hurry to put their clothes back on. Anyone ever fuck a dominicana? "¿Terminaste? ¿Terminaste? ¿Terminaste?" every five seconds. Fuck that shit.
I used to have this paraguaya, maybe the best fuck of my entire worthless life, come to my apartment in Buenos Aires and fuck me while her husband waited in the coffee shop downstairs. Her favorite saying was "Dame toda tu leche in mi concha mi amor. Dame dame dame." Haven't seen her in five years as she landed the big kahuna and moved to Spain, but I still yearn for her tragically. She was from Jaguarè or however the hell it is spelled.

I had been without a girlfriend for well over a decade, before my first "vida loca" visit to Asuncion; that visit was a great turning point in my life.
Paraguay is a relatively poor country with a low gross domestic product. Consequently the price of visiting is low. Good lodging is inexpensive, dinner out is "muy economico, " nightclubbin' is cheap as well. And this leaves a visitor from a "rich" country (such as the USA in my case) with plenty of money in his pocket. You can take your sweetie to a good restaurant (like Aquarela, the Hacienda de las Palomas, or the Paulista Grill. All in Villa Morro) for less than you'd pay to go to a cheap place in Washington, DC, by yourself. You can easily afford the little gifts and generosities that'll sweeten her even more. And even the way that "first-world" gentlemen are accustomed to treat our dates, leave the Paraguayita feeling like a princess!
In return, those I've been with made me feel like a King!
But do realize that Paraguay is landlocked, and its low economy means there aren't a whole lot of "interesting" things to see and visit and do. Other than improving your Spanish with "una diccionaria con pelo largo", and all the pleasures that go with this "Great Game. "
(And as I think of these pleasures, I'm wondering if it's time for a fresh visit!)
That's my perspective. Hope it helps.

Posts: 446Is Asuncion so boring ?
Funny, I have just read the 5 first pages on this forum and so many write that Asuncion is boring.....
If you speak Spanish, why Asuncion is boring ????
It seems that it is easy to date, to get 1 or 2 girlfriends....
Sex is very cheap in brothels.....
Good meat....
Paradise would be the correct word instead of boring....
It seems to me a very good way to improve the level of Spanish by having a good time.
That would be nice to read your point of vue, guys...

Ok for starters I don't hate anyone here. Just sometimes myself because I am still wondering WHY I ever married my first wife.? Thinking with the little head downthere never is advisable.
Secondly I'd only gave you a few pointers but reading your postings its obvious you allready know almost everything.
Thirdly I don't know sh*t about Poker and I also don't want to know it. Because I make my money in another way. I don't have the time to stray many hours a day (or night) in my computer in internet to play a cardgame.
Fourth. I told you to learn spanish. Thats the KEY here just as in many other SA countries.
Fifth. I know many barrios were there are BIG expensive houses with guards and domestic workers (empleadas). Who sell for 500. 000 USD or more. And also the Paraguyans love to ACT as if they are poor but in fact DO have money. What you see just is a facade.
HEEE in about 2 weeks my business is up and running and you come in and eat some "reibekuchen" or a real belgian waffle. Hows that? Relax man.
I also have real "Zapf Bier".
AtZon: welcome here. PY is a nice country to monger but you NEED to speak spanish. If you NOT speak it. You will get lost. But I assume you speak spanish.
I myself too was rather found of the DR. But for personal reasons I choose to live in PY. However I know in the DR you have many many pretty women.
However I think in PY you have more personal freedom.
PY women are quite the opposite of DR women in many ways. They tend to be shy and timid. But thats only the first impression IMHO
If you have more questions feel free to PM me.
Bye

Posts: 59You guys made me laugh for a decent 5 seconds.
Thanks for the constructive criticism, especially to Jon, who reasoned my attitude just by "being german". Seriously, how narrow minded can a person get?
Thats like I would say that all americans are fat. You are 32? You make me sad. /Offtopic: And yes many Poker players are nerds, like Elky, a nerd with around 6 million dollars. Bye Jon.
So I will just reply to Johan (PS: Whats up with our "date? "; the Maybe rate someone after you got to know him.)

Interesting isnt it? I made some female online friends from SA and they said that they like germany and would like to visit germany one day.
Mexican mafia blabla, if the women like me, then the women like me and no Mafia papi chulo can do a sh*t about it. My problem about San Antonio and the States in general is, obviously I dont possess a green card so SA is out of question atm (until I have built serious capital..then probably)
Have to inform myself about immigration in Mexico. Should be easier there.
