Posts: 765Laid back city in a laid back country, Asunción, Paraguay
Nothing to see, Nothing to do. A City / Country Divided.
I want to thank Lexton, Hollywood124, Alpha Alemand and other posters from past on their reports and experiences to various Depaertmentos / casas. This really helped for me to build a list and a profile to start with. After reading Hollywood124's reports, I had packed the other necessities including flip flops to use at Depaertmentos / casas.
Paraguayans are the world champions at drinking beer. Both men and women drink everyday from morning and probably through night with a beer bottle on the bedside. Probably born with a litre bottle of beer in each hand. Budweiser has a strong hold as I like to drink local beer and sometimes it was difficult to find as the locals did not know what their local beer was. It was Budweiser everywhere, big bottles.
August 14 Thursday Arrived at ASU at 2. 50 AM in the morning. Took Avianca Airlines from Lima to Asunciand, Paraguay. It was the only airline offering me a direct flight from Lima to Asunciand. All the other airlines wanted to turn a 4 hour flight to 9-12 hours by taking me on to a sightseeing tour of some Latin American countries airports and long layovers. Avianca is a great airline with beautiful and shapely slim stewardesses than the double wide we get on American Airlines. I was staying at Hotel Palmas del Sol which is on the north east corner of Centro where Espana ends and Tacuari starts. A monger had stayed there before and recommended it. I had tried to rent an apartment in lower Centro but had great difficulty communicating with the agents. This is already documented on ISG. The choice of hotel / apartment is very important as I learnt more being in Asunciand every day. I'll touch this topic as we go along. The agreed rate with the hotel was g154 mil per night for single room. The hotel was going to pick me up at the airport and they confirmed it the night before. The flight arrived on time. There were some hot Paraguayans women on the plane. There was also a young couple who just got married and were coming back to Asunciand. First stop at the Visa counter. Paid USD $160.00 and got a 90 days visa. Next immigration and baggage pickup. Also changed USD $50 into Gurranies at a low rate in case the hotel airport was not available. No problems going through immigration and customs while they did open up some people's suit cases. Outside, awesome. There was a band playing for the young married couple and they were dancing and singing with other family members. On top of that, there was a returning football team who had won something with TV cameras and Press. But there was no sign of the hotel pick up with my name. I wanted to try and call the hotel first before I took a taxi. My Spanish is limited and tried looking for a phone. I saw a place people could make phone calls in booths for charge. I went there and explained to the young woman there that I was expecting an airport pick up from the hotel. She understood some English as my Spanish was limited, she called the hotel from her phone and explained the situation. The hotel was going to send a van and she told me to stay in their office and the hotel will pick me up from there. I asked to pay but she would not take any money. Hollywood had said how helpful Paraguayans were and this was a great example. She also make some coffee for me. About half an hour later, the Hotel van service came and we went to the hotel. I thanked the young lady for her help.
Arrived at the hotel and they apologized. Put me in a room with no AC working and used shampoo / conditioner and soap in the bathroom. I just wanted to sleep as I was tired and woke up just in time for the last hour of breakfast. The breakfast was great. Lots of different fresh juices, different cuts of meats and cheese, fresh bread and buns, eggs and lots of fresh fruits. Enough for different tastes with coffee or tea. The two young girls who worked were quite decent and had nice asses. That was something I started noticing about Paraguayan women. They had nice rounded natural asses, not ultra big like Brazilians, just beautiful as I like them. I just wanted to grab them! I also noticed that the girls had a laid back demeanor and did not seem to get riled. They seem to wear extra warm clothing in temperatures where I wore a tee shirt or short sleeves and shorts. It may have to do with their inferno summers. The temperatures during my trip were from high 70's F to 90's F degrees. I had also heard Asunciand being described as a laid back city in a laid back country. So far so true.
After breakfast I showered and spoke to the Manager about the room and lack of hotel pick upon arrival. He upgraded me to their premium room on their highest floor, 3rd and also no charge for August night 13. The room was huge, nice shower, big bed and nice views with AC. During the afternoon, I walked Centro round to get my bearings and look for the main spots like Plaza Uruguay etc and went to bank to change some money. I had a late lunch at a family type restaurant and had some parilla beef. She asked if I wanted the big cut which seemed like the side of a cow and I said that I will have just the normal cut as it was for lunch. I saw just 3 pieces on plate. Little did I know that they would each be about 2 inches thick and about 8-10 inches long. They come with Yucca root. If you do not like Yucca root, tough. I do like it. WARNING: do not start on a salad diet before coming to Paraguay like I had a month or so before. The portions are big and tasty. It cost g35 mil with a soft drink. I struggled with the first portion but downed the three portions taking breaks! Then I went looking for a Claro office to get a sim card for my phone. The slim beautiful ladies outside and inside the office were very helpful and also shared their terer with me which is Yerba Mate with some other herbs and made cold. They carry their own thermoses with them. The cost for the sim card was g15 mil and that included texting and minutes. The young ladies were anxiously looking at their watches as it was getting near 5. 30 PM.
I noticed that the Centro is a hub of activity during the day and tails off during the evening as everybody goes home and it becomes a ghost town. Just a few restaurants open here and there and hence the choice of the Hotel / apartment is important. Are you going to stay inside the hotel at night or like some entertainment? Also, are there any restaurants close to where you are staying, especially Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday when most places are closed? Taxis are not cheap to go from one place to another. Buses are 1950's running ragged. I did see 3 new buses! All this is important and I'll dwell more on this on a Hotels thread for Paraguay.
As it was getting late, I got some beer and water from El Pais grocery store across from Plaza Uruguay and walked to the hotel as it was close by. Had hotel buffet dinner which was good for g33 mil. Prepared notes of casas to go to during the day from next day. Slept early.
Yes, the sidewalks are pretty much broken in the Centro. It is not a good idea to put 2 inch square tiles on the sidewalk. These go in bathrooms and kitchens for design effect. Some rich white must have sold those to the Government as he did not want them. I'll tackle the rich white issue later. I did not find the roads to be in bad shape.
As a passing note, I did see plenty slim very pretty shapely Paraguayan women. Lexton had said that they are fat as they eat too much pasta. I beg to differ. They were slim, gorgeous, delightful, approachable and a lot of fun to be with. They were slim compared to a lot of women I have seen elsewhere. I'll have to take Lexton with me next time and get him some slim honey. I think I have covered most of the non mongering stuff and will start on the mongering stuff on the next post as this post is getting big.

Hi mongers. I am in ASU and my detailed reports will follow on my return as I got hit with a bad attack of diarrhea last 4 days in Peru. Questions on these departmentos from recent users.
Deseos Agency on 14 Mayo 1008 corner Manduvira. I tried on Sunday, no music and no answer at the door. Tried today on Monday about 1. 30 PM in the afternoon. Same. No music, no answer when rung door bell. Is this an evening casa and what are the hours?
Lilith 313 Cerro Cora. No answer on Sunday afternoon and no answer again on Monday at about 1. 00 PM. There is a note saying something about Cerrro Cora 817 near Tacuary and EEU. Open or closed? Opening hours?
Casas Open on Sunday. Does anyone know which casas are open on Sundays and what times. I no luck yesterday at Lilth, Deseos Agency and Iturbe 838 and I knew that PY Escorts was also closed on Sunday. Thanks.

And to all: Don't get excited about Montevideo / MVD. I live there partly. Wouldn't recommend for mongering. Poor Price / value, mostly poor attitude.

Please RTFF! I just did several reports on my trip to ASU! IMHO I did not see many "7s" in ASU. If you are looking for "7s" you may have to try several "Casas" until you find her.But just IMHO! But everyone I met was very nice to me. Maybe you should try EZE or MDE if you are looking for "7s" or above IMHO.
Good luck!

Posts: 64Very sorry Gwai, I did not see your post!
Hi Gwai, sorry for the late answer.
Please see my friends TL ((Tejano Libre) and Gyselle in EZE. They will send you to their friends. I think TL charges $100 USD for a tour of EZE and set up. And please see Gyselle's new website for prices. Both have wonderful Paraguayan GFE!
Take care and good luck!

To me IMHO ASU looked like a Hurricane just pass through. The first day when I just got off the bus (remember you have to jump off as the driver most times does not make a complete stop!) I commented to a nice lady who rode next to me that the bus should have been trashed 50 years ago (the bues are in very bad shape) and she replied "CORRUPTION!" The placed looked like everything was falling apart IMHO! I guess your typical everyday Latin American government Corruption. IMHO. But everyone I met was very nice to me. I'll be back. BTW, please bring a wingman or meet up with some of the members on the ASU board. Everywhere I went the people told me to be very careful. Taxi drivers, hotel employees, restaurant workers and police officers all told me to watch out! I just PM another member today the same comment. Good luck!

Posts: 27Will stay the rest of the week in Asuncion. Advices?
Hey guys,
I will be in Asuncion until Sunday starting from tomorrow. Seeking for advices for nice places with good fucks at around 20 $/30 min.
My little research make me to think that 14 de Mayo 1008 (Deseos Agency) might be the place I am looking for. Any other advice?
I am looking for 7' at least. Or 6's if body is nice. Love very slim girls.
Thanks!

Posts: 9Agencias with Paraguayas in BsAs
Dear Hollywood,
I am even more often in Buenos Aires then I am in Asu, so it naturally cought my attention what you wrote about sweet Paraguayas in BsAs, checked your profile to search for any reviews of yours on BsAs, but didn't find any. Are the Paraguayas evenly spread all over the agencias, or are there specific agencias with Paraguayas in BsAs you could recommend to me.
Thanks in advance!

Posts: 59Well Paraguay is poor, but the girls are much prettier than most of the other Latin countrys (excluding Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela).
Mongering isn't my thing, picking up non Pros can be sometimes frustrating, as traffic under the week is hectic, girls of beauty are walking really fast / nervous. Also they are shy to "Gringo" men, and hard to drag into a conversation.
Once they warm up, they are really friendly and probably really great in bed. And you will get your real GFE.
The only choice to get a true GFE is to go try to pick up. Streets, Shopping Malls, Supermarkets, Bar, Pub, Mercado 4. Virtually anything goes.

Hi Tomasb,
No, not really, because everyone in ASU was so very nice to me, it wasn't that bad. I never had any trouble with anyone and the people were always helpful to me. I think it was more of a "Culture Shock" than anything else.
Good luck!
