Ok I have couple of caveats and info to share from my last trips to SA.

First off I could confirm that the official exchange rates in Argentina are ridiculous! If you go with a dollar to an official agency they will give you 84 pesos. But if you go to an informal agency or pay directly to the girl they will take it for double that much! Yes, 166. So have that in mind.

That's the reason many Paraguayan girls are retuning to Asuncion and even many Argentinians are crossing the border since there are not many tourists anyway.

I had a couple of experiences with girls in Buenos Aires and then work took me (fortunately) to Asuncion.

If in BA is not recommended to go to a "privado" (kind of 21st century bourdels) in Asuncion is even less so! Stay away from privados, trust me. Better off taking the time to find a fine escort that works on her own. Then take her to a hotel if possible.

In my case I contacted Aracely.

    https://pkadoras.com/escorts-aracely/

    https://argendivas.com/escorts-aracely/

She works in BA most part of the year but was staying in Paraguay for the month. So I asked her to a hotel and we had no problem having an agreement.

Apparently the economic situation won't be much better any time soon, so foreign currency is really valuable in these countries. Of course that's really sad when you look at it from a humanitarian POV, but that's the way it is right now.

Can't say much about the nocturne movement, discos and all that. To be honest I wouldn't dare to show up with an accent and try to go undercover. Robberies and criminal acts tend to rise in times of crisis.

But boy! Aren't those Latin women a joy?

Great site and info. Thanks to my job I have visited BA many times. I'm actually about to visit very soon and from my investigations I can confidently say that if you are traveling with dollars just don't you even think to but local currency in any official agency.

Actually I will not change them at all, apparently local girls are taking them like pure gold.

    Cheers.

    Paraguay. Not a monger's paradise

I went to Asuncion last week for a business trip but a monger will always find a way to get out and experience the local cuisine. First off, there are no American style titty clubs. The only places similar to a titty club are these residencies that they use to play music and dance for customers. A friend took me to one and we were asked to sit in a room in the front of the house. 200,000 for two chicas to dance for you for 10 minutes. If you wanted to get full service, it would cost 300,000 each for 30 minutes. We chose two of the slimmest out of the five presented. The dances were high mileage with a lot of grinding, FIV, grabbing, etc but it was just weird going to a residential neighborhood for pussy so we left after 10 minutes.

My friend also took me to a similar thing in centro called Playboys. Sorry, I forgot the exact address but the sign outside the club has a black playboy head on it. Same setup except there were around seven chicas to choose from. No dancing on stage even though I saw stripper poles. We chose two of the youngest and bought the girls several fichas for 40 k each. After half an hour, I decided to take the plunge and paid 30 k with a chick with a black playboy bunny on her right ankle (sorry I forgot her name). The only room was occupied so we went to the front of the club where she closed all the curtains. Couldn't nut with people walking around and mosquitoes eating me alive so I ended the session.

My friend said it's more fun to get escorts to a motel for a couple of hours so that's what I'll do next time I'm there.

At the time of my visit, the exchange rate was $1 to 6170.

How about for your first post on the forum provide practical information than just innuendos such as 'it can be dangerous going to their own place' without any factual information. Also the website you are promoting, did you use it to meet anyone and if yes, who exactly and how was the experience?

The weather does suck here, very hot and humid.

Thanks for that link! Hadn't seen that one before. Why would it be dangerous to go to independents place? Indi girls are all the rage now in Asuncion and I hadn't heard any problems on the local board.

Thanks Tomjackin for yet another one of yours helpful, useful and factual reporting of the local scene. By googling clubs names you mentioned, some have websites with addresses and contact numbers that may come handy for the next ISG visitor to Asuncion (could be me for all you know!

LOL Tomjackin your assessment of Asuncion is exactly the same as mine! Some good restaurants to be found, but very hard and frustrating on the puta front. I too would never return! Some of the worst mongering I have experienced in all of my travels. And too funny about the German thing! It just so happens that there is a small German population in Paraguay. Many of them can be found in a place called Ciudad del Este, which is right at the border with Brazil. Maybe he thought you were one of them. Keep up the good writing!

Seven night romp in Asuncion, Paraguay!

Why Paraguay? I've never been and I was curious about the capital city.

    Logistics:

    Flight:

You can get coach flights out of San Diego for around $1850 and change.

    The Visa on Arrival:

A passport is required to enter Paraguay. USA Citizens arriving by air may obtain a "visa en arribo" (visa on arrival) at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Asuncion. This is a multiple entry visa valid for 10 years and costs $160, payable in USA Currency (credit cards are not accepted).

*IMPORTANT: US Dollar notes must be in perfect condition. Old, torn, or marked notes will not be accepted by officials (I used new unmarked 20 dollar notes).

Immigration also asked me to show them proof as to where I was staying and they also checked that I indeed had a returning flight scheduled.

    Logging:

I rented a nice two bedroom apartment on Airbnb for $80 per night. The place had 24 hour security and my host was great.

    Money:

Just like Colombia, the currency is in thousands, which takes a day or two to get used to. The rate I received at the cambios was 5,625 GS to 1 USD. So, 100,000 GS was around $17.50. There are cambios throughout the city. Many close early on Saturday and most are closed on Sunday (be aware of that).

    Getting around town:

My Airbnb was not really close to anything. Thus, I took taxis everywhere. The meter starts out at 5000. I was getting around town from 4 to 7 bucks. Every taxi I was in had a meter. And for some fucking reason, every taxi driver asked if I was from Germany. After a while, I just yes, I'm from Germany dammit!

Beware: From 10 pm to 5 am (when I used taxis the most), Sundays, and holidays, there is a 30% surcharge for all the taxis.

Some of the drivers had a clue to where they were going, while others could not find water if they fell out of a fucking boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! Prepare to have an address and use Google maps to track them!

    Language:

Very few people, taxi drivers, and restaurant workers knew how to speak anything but Spanish. I struggled at times, but that was part of the fun of exploring a different country.

    Communication:

I have the T-Mobile North American plan. My plan gave me unlimited data at 2 G speed, calls at 20 cents per minute and free texts. Thus, I started using WhatsApp on my regular phone. I started chatting with my apartment host before I left. As long as I had a WiFi signal, WhatsApp was free of charge. I was chatting on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Skype; including video calls for no charge whatsoever.

Where and what I ate in Asuncion.

    Bar San Roque (twice):
    Sopa Paraguaya (good).
Bife de Loma a Caballo con Cebollo (excellent).
    Sopa de Venduras (good).
    Pasta caseras al Champiand (excellent).

    Bolsi:
Canastia Tipica several regional foods (excellent).

    La Paragualita:
    Vori Vori con Pollo (excellent).

    Bar San Miguel:
    Chipa Guasu (very good).
Lomito al Champiand con Papas a la Crema (excellent).

    Lo de Osvaldo:
    Seleccion de Parrillero (very good).

    Bar Lido:
I asked for a menu, and got an order of Mbeju (very good).
I guess I need more practice with my Spanish

    Alma (twice):
    Bife de Chorizo (excellent).
    Espinaca Gratinadas (excellent).
    Croquetas (good).
Ravioles de espinaca, ricota, and Nueces (excellent).

Overall thoughts on food: As you can see, I ate a lot of chow during my trip. I tried to stay with the regional food and I wasn't disappointed.

    The Venues:

First off, I'm not a big casa type person. So even though I did gather a lot of information and addresses, I had trouble finding the ones that were listed. And when I did find the right address, I didn't want to just walk up, knock on the door, and ask, "Are there any putas here?" I found a few of the clubs and a couple of casas. And some that were presented as clubs, turned out to be casas; Asunciand was a tad confusing and frustrating to say the least.

I was determined to gather as much information as possible. In each bar / club / venue, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me. All of the prices are in Guararis. I'm now drinking vodka and soda water when I travel. The fichas were various prices, I am quoting the lowest ficha price.

    Club: Playboy's.
    Cover: 20,000 included one drink.
    My drink: 40,000.
    Ficha: 40,000.
Sex: 50 USD /30 minutes, offsite 100 USD /1 hour.
    On site: yes.
    Number of chicas: 7.
Quality of chicas: good to very good.
Night / Time: 11 pm Thursday.
Comments: Nice little club and the girls / staff were friendly.

    Club: Karim.
    Cover: 30,000 included one drink.
    My drink: 30,000.
    Ficha: 50,000.
    Sex: 220,000/1 hour.
    On site: yes.
    Number of chicas: 2.
    Quality of chicas: good.
Night / Time: 1 am Saturday.
Comments: Went by there Thursday night around 11 pm, the place seemed closed. The manager was a nice guy and wanted to practice his English with me. I asked about the number of girls, he said the cold weather was keeping them home.

    Club/Casa: LE Bacan.
    Cover: none.
    My drink: 40,000.
    Ficha: 40,000.
    Sex: 250,000/1 hour.
    On site: yes.
    Number of chicas: 5.
Quality of chicas: good to very good.
Night / Time: first time, 12:30 am Thursday.
Comments: I liked this place. I played with 3 different chicas there. All were fun. No pressure to buy drinks, but I did anyway. I was there on three different nights. Yes, threesomes are available!

Yegos 1250 (one that I found): It was 10:30 Friday night and there were only 2 average looking chicas. Price: 230,000/1 hour.

La Mansion VIP: Nice house, but when I was there, they made me and the taxi driver wait outside. AND it was 38 fucking degrees outside. I waited for 5 minutes and bailed on the damn place.

    Other clubs listed:

Toc Toc Club: regular dance club. However, there is mention of a active bar near the Gran Hotel Armele. The bar is Toc Toc Bar, but it was closed when I stopped by the place.

Studio 54: couldn't find the damn place.

Naomi producciones strip club: couldn't find the damn place.

Baba's strip club: couldn't find the damn place.

    Street girls:

I made my rounds 4 different days at different times of all the places listed; I did not see one single SG!

    Cupid:

    No luck whatsoever.

    Tinder:

    No luck whatsoever.

    Overall thoughts on Asunciand:

I had a good time, but yet, it was very frustrating at times trying to find the casas and other fun things to do in our hobby. Having said that, I enjoyed what this city had to offer. The city was very tranquil and the people were very friendly. And the regional food was pretty damn good. I also like the fact that I HAD to speak Spanish to communicate with the chicas.

The weather was freakish to say the least. The temperatures ranged from 38 to 82 degrees during my stay.

I still had a great time exploring and documenting stuff for our community; no regrets whatsoever!

Would I ever return to Asuncion? Fuck no!

As always, just my dos pinche pesos of course!
