    Asunción Day 8

Definitely bored with this place. Today I went to Harem, República de Francia 226, just off Yegros. I reported for duty at 1130 hours. Upstairs, as noted, and there are two doors. Ring the one on the left. It is obvious because there are stickers advertising the sex websites stuck on the door. Cheerful fag let me in. This place is gorgeous. Crystal chandeliers, a real marble fountain, plush leather couches, and a baby grand piano.

OK it doesn't have any of that stuff. The living room is dark and run down, with worn furniture. I was presented one chica and then immediately four or five more all at once. No chance to view from the rear. The first chica rattled off all their names too fast for me to remember so I chose the one with the best teeth and nicest smile. Her "name" was Coral. 21 years old, from Asunción, a one year old kid, still some leche but not to where it was squirting out or anything. I like that sometimes but mostly when I am drunk. 120k the hour. 80k the half, normal pricing structure. Sturdy type gal, fairly tall, ten extra pounds. Nice gal, decent service, everything covered, no kissing, did not get turned on, nothing to write home about. Nothing to complain about either. None of these chicas was anything to write home about, looks-wise. Coral said this place is the same owner as Deseos and that the owner, as well as the managers, is a poof. I was in sort of a mustard colored room, large and clean, with the bathroom right outside, also large and clean. Toilet worked, clean towel provided, soap, but no hot water at the sink. There probably was in the shower but I did not check. No rush, an hour from the time the chica entered after I had washed up.

Out of all the privados I have ever been to, this is one of them. Neither recommended nor not recommended."Tania" at Yegros 1250 is right around the corner if for some reason there is nothing to your liking here. Coral recommended Hollywood Dance at Independencia Nacional 950 as a place to go dance on the weekends. Says she and her friends go there and "sometimes" go home with guys. It is just a couple of blocks from Harem and Tania. Also nearby is Mercado 1, a very scaled down version of Mercado 4. Lots of people eating lunch there and too crowded for me to go in there. The entrance is in the 1000 block of Yegros.

I might go to Tania tomorrow. Or not. Found a German bakery, Presidente Franco 828 near Ayolas, that had good baguette.

    Some practical information

Again, I don't recommend this country for most people but if you want to check it out, here are some practical tips.

Getting from the airport to centro: Take the #30 bus but make sure it is branch (ramal) #2; in other words. 30-2. Coming from the airport this goes down Mariscal López and Presidente Franco. Going to the airport you catch it on Oliva (one stop is between Colón and Montevideo) and it then goes down España. I think this still just costs 2.3k guaranies (like any city bus ride) but I will verify this next week. I also found a transfer agency on Oliva between Ayolas and O'Leary:

    www.asuairport.com

The office was not open when I went by at 11 AM or so, which seemed odd, but it is not out of business because there were two of their vans in the lot. Ridiculously, the website does not list the price. It does say they only accept cash, either guaranies or dollars. It also says the exchange rate will be the rate at the airport = bend over. Timetable is on the website. No reservation necessary on the inbound side. Fuck them. Take the bus.

Grocery stores: Best one I found was Supermercado Santa Rosa, Presidente Franco 638. Weekday hours are 7:00 to 11:30 AM and 1 PM to 5 PM. The ground floor is a grocery store and there are other departments on the upper floors such as clothes and so forth.

Other bus info: Buses to the intercity bus terminal, botanic gardents and Mercado 4 can be caught on Colón between Palma and Oliva or on Oliva. Bus #12 goes to Catholic University, a source of eye candy.

Taxis: Do not cruise but must be taken from taxi stands, which are located every couple of blocks in Centro. The flag drop is 5k.

Teatro (theater) : Presidente Franco at the corner of Chile.

Free wi-fi: Plaza de los Héroes, Estrella and Nuestra Señora de Asunción, across from the Guaraní Esplendor. There are also recycling bins there if you want to be a green traveler.

Hot looking regular chicas and 2 for 1 happy hour: Restaurant Bolsi, Estrella and Alberdi. Bar Gales on Estrella and O'Leary also has happy hour from 5 to 9. Bolsi's ends at 8 but I don't remember what time it begins.

Cheap lunches: 15 de agosto between Presidente Franco and Estrella (two blocks' worth). Various options between $8-$12k. Empanadas $2k with bread. Why you would want to eat bread and dough is a question I can't answer but it will fill you up. Portions looked modest and I don't think they eat very big lunches in this culture.

Laundry: I used the one next to the Asunción Palace, Colón between Estrella and Oliva. One time they charged me 20k and one time 15k (paid in advance) and the loads seemed the same size to me. Found another one on Estrella between Montevideo and O'Leary but it was closed Saturday morning when I attempted to use it.

    Asunción Day 6

spent some time last night with other gringo mongers drinking in the casino in the guaraní esplendor. i don't gamble in casinos because i am pretty sure they did not build them with the money the customers won. the 630 liter brahmas, which were 13k the previous night, mysteriously were 13. 5k. that compares to 11k at the chopería and 9k at "biggest" at estrella and 15 de agosto. had quite a few and was pretty buzzed when we left at midnight. was solo the last five blocks or so and moderately paranoid because i had hit an atm much earlier and had 950k or so on me. it was cool so i had my hoodie with me. took off my glasses and pulled up the hoodie to hide my irish face a bit, but it was fine. no streetwalkers on estrella.

breakfast at the armelé is better than i remember from last time, but not as good as the palace, and the coffee is especially terrible. but they had fresh watermelon juice today, and a pretty good fruit pastry. a few days ago i had seen a barber shop in the 700 block of diaz that advertised 10k cuts on mon and tues so i went there but it was fucking closed for no real reason. i mean, there was someone in there, but the door was locked and she came to the door and said they were closed. it was 11 am so i have no idea why that was. went to another place down by the port and got a good cut for 15k, which is the normal price around here. a razor cut, trimmed the eyebrows, shaved the neck, so forth. went to the park by the port and read, and more and more cops kept gathering, with bullet proof vests and like catcher's shin guards on their arms. after there were about 12 or 15 of them, they picked up their cheap looking metal riot shields and took off in formation. don't know if this was routine drilling or if something was going to go down.

around 3 pm a wing man and i took the city bus for 2. 3k (each) on oliva down to estados unidos and walked six blocks or so up to república de colombia to gozanos vip's new address i posted earlier. this is a good physical facility. inquired how many chicas were available and were told four. asked the prices and were told 100k and 150k for completo (buggery) and then some price i forget for half hour (either 80 or 90) and 45 minutes (wasn't paying attention) of conventional, and 130k for an hour of conventional. the last poster from the previous address had said 120k. asked to see the chicas and were told it would be a 10k viewing fee if we did not take a chica. don't know if that was apiece or total. if i had been by myself i probably would have left. wingman was okay with it and it's his last day here. we saw a cute chica who was obviously sick, all hoarse and stuff, a chica i don't recall who was not bad, yesica who had a really cute face, and ingrit with a cottage cheese ass. it was my turn for first pick and it wasn't a hard choice, yesica. wing man i think would have taken #2 but we could not remember her name after our discussion about #1 being sick. he decided cottage cheese was better than strep throat.

my room was upstairs. very nice room, private bath, nicely furnished, blah blah. as nice as the "high end" place we went yesterday. bathroom was clean and yesica arrived with two towels. i would request this room if you go there. wingman was downstairs (actually the second floor as you go upstairs when you enter and the chicas are on the ground floor sequestered behind a prison-like door; you can see them peering out at you) and said he did not have a private bath.

yesica's body already has the ravages of child birth, the "mondongo" belly and sucked on titties although the titties were still okay. said she was 19; i would have guessed 22. session was okay. no bbbj, but she liked to kiss, but she had a bit of dog breath. good bj skills and did what i told her to do. loose pussy. what i should have done was taken the 45 minutes. finished in flat dog after about 40 minutes and had time for a bit of a chat. she lived in argentina for six years in her youth, la plata, and had a very low opinion of argentineans, to say the very least."why are argentineans so arrogant?" she asked, and i told her it was because they invented the ball point pen. i did say they were a lot less arrogant once you got outside of greater buenos aires. so she asked me what the us invented and i mentioned electricity, the cotton gin, and the mainframe computer. then she asked what paraguay had invented. i deflected this question by talking about how hot larisa riquelme was and mentioned that juan o'leary was very well known and respected in the us, which is utter bullshit. at least she had some intellectual curiosity. although, i get the feeling intellectual curiosity is not all that high on the list of requirements for most of you sick fucks.

place is worth the extra 10k imo as compared to the places on cerro corá and azará, but it's a ways away. we did walk back and it is about 25 blocks from the armelé. i might go back there once to see if there are any hotter chicas. haven't seen any really hot chicas in any of these privados on any of my visits and doubt many exist. the one my buddy fucked yesterday was the hottest one i have seen, maybe an 8. this yesica was definitely an 8 or 8. 5 in the face but that was well offset by the mondongo, loose pussy, and dog breath. went to biggest and we split a 630 ml pilsen, he had a double burger with fries for 22, and i had an omelette that was too crispy for 18. so 49 total and we would have tipped 5 but the waitress said "el servicio no está incluido" when she brought the check. she never would have said that if we weren't gringos so we left her 1k instead. i hate that shit.

    Dickhead, I've been there.

No really, but I feel as if I were when reading your trip reports. Great writing, it's as simple as that. Thanks for taking the time.

    Only good energy to you!

    Asunción Day 5

Moved to a better room at Armelé after some discussions with management. This hotel is not recommend either. In fact nothing in this town is really recommended. Most people should not come here, as has been discussed. Had a decent lunch of ravioli stuffed (actually stuffed this time) with carne and a decent tomato sauce that was not oversalted as in Buenos Aires, at Chopería. Again I thought the portion was small. 26k or 28k a la carte. Went to Mercado 4 which was mildly interesting and would be where you would go once a week to shop if you lived here. I am sure bargains are to be had if you needed to buy anything, and everything was available. I needed nothing so it was just a way to waste an hour or two. One funny thing was the number of walls that said,"Prohibido Orinar," which almost might lead one to infer all unlabeled walls were fair game. In contrast to many other markets in third world shit holes I've been to, there were a number of clearly marked public bathrooms for 500 guarani. The one I used clearly indicated that only #1 was included in the price of admission. What the consequences for #2 would be remains unclear.

Went to a "high end" privado in Villa Mora. 180k the half hour and 250k the hour. The cab driver had to get directions from Mercado 4 from some kid manning the hack stand before setting off, and of course got a bit lost but not seriously so. In the 500 block of Garay a few blocks off Mariscal López. Nice big house. Only 3 chicas working, only 2 available. Mine was in her thirties with bad teeth so you are just paying for a nicer room and clean sheets. The toilet in the bathroom did not flush and there was no soap in it. No BBBJ but an unexpected extra which was at odds with no BBBJ. Chica had been there only two weeks and so was pretty horny and not real jaded. Not the brightest bulb in the box and the conversation was not too stimulating. This place had different prices for different chicas but none of the more expensive chicas were there anyhow. Some other price for anal so I will leave it to you fudgepackers to check that out. I forget. 35k cab back to downtown. Would not repeat but it was worth doing once to see how the other half lives.

Then got some beers and I will say I gave the clerk 2k too much and he gave it back. They are definitely more honest here than in Buenos Aires. But then again they are more honest anywhere else in Latin America than they are in BA. The only more dishonest places than BA that I have personally been are Jamaica and The Bahamas.

    Asunción Day 4

Sunday so very dead. Also 95 degrees F. Some wing men arrived today, although one did not due to finding out at the airport he needed a visa. Proper Prior Planning Prevents [CodeWord140] Poor Performance. I guess everyone assumed he knew that. Saturday I had been to Azará 479, Morena Mía, after another session just to ascertain they would be open on Sunday. Three of us went there around 2 PM and the fag madam came down and told us there was only one chica, and we looked at each other and decided, fine, let's see her."Well she is busy." So then there are zero chicas, right? Anyway he said more would be coming at 7 PM. We went to 14 de Mayo 1008, which allegedly is 24-7. No answer. So we decided to hook up for drinks at 7:30. By that time one guy had already been there and fucked what he described as the "house pig," whom he deemed a 4. He said he had seen some better looking chicas arriving as he was leaving. So we went to the casino in the Guaraní Esplendor and had a couple of beers to cool off, and then went back there about 9 PM. Four chicas were presented but given the loud music and the fact they did not give their names until asked and then kind of tossed the names over their shoulders, it was a bit confusing. My buddy had offered me first choice. The cutest one was maybe a 6 in my book, one was fat, one was unfuckably fat, and I forget the other one but I think that is who my wing man fucked. My chica went by the name of Joanna. Chose a half hour for 80k. It was not good at all. I kept telling her to go slow and she would for ten seconds and then go back to the rapid up and down. Her big, flabby ass was pounding my balls every time she did that. Blow job, she would go nice and slow for ten seconds and then start the 90 mph head bob, and then go to the lawn mower pull. I just mostly lay there and kept telling her,"despacito," but it didn't work. A waste of time. But, better than a poke in the eye. Baño was terrible. No soap or TP and no water at the sink. They had a thin hose or tube attached to the shower head that reached to the sink, was all. Not recommended. On the way out I told the fag,"Arreglá el baño," and he laughed.

Today it is much cooler, cloudy, and windy so I hope to have a bit more energy.

    Asunción Day 3

Spent yesterday afternoon gunning down beers at an alarming rate, then listened to some ESPN radio baseball until the business from which I was stealing the signal apparently shut down. The internet in the Asunción Palace finally went up for a while, then down, then up, then when it came up more permanently the signal was not strong enough. For that reason and the street noise I moved today to the Armelé for a couple of dollars more a night, an interior room, after gorging on the excellent Palace breakfast, where I met four gringas who were in the Peace Corps. I was armed with top secret intelligence and knew one of their names, which astounded them. They were all dogs, although at least they were not fat. Around 11 PM I went out. I thought about going to Toc Toc but it was still early for that. Went back to the Chopería which had live music. Ordered a 630 ml Pilsen for 11k and alleged tacos for 12k. Or maybe it was the other way around. The last time I ordered tacos was in Concordia and they were not really tacos but it was very good. What I got on this occasion was chopped up meat rolled in a stale tortilla. Nothing else. No cheese or onions. Did get two little things of hot sauce, one green and one red. Waitress said the red was hotter. I immediately dumped the entire contents of both ramekins on the thing, which alarmed her. Started eating it and it tasted a little spoiled but I figured the hot sauce would counteract or else die of ptomaine, one or the other. It was not that spicy and not that good (bad, actually; tough and gristly) and I did not eat the stale tortilla. But, I did not get sick either. I do have a head cold now, though. Felt myself coming down with it so I added extra beers to my diet and ate some limes to ward off scurvy.

Although the food was not very good, neither was the live music. But then a decorated city bus showed up and about twenty women in costume piled out. A bachelorette party. I am thinking,"Great, some drunk chicas to hit on." The bride to be got up on stage and did a bit of bump and grind with the organ player to the tune of Joe Walsh's "You Can Leave Your Hat On." Looked promising. But then I noticed one gal had a big cardboard sign saying something about "prendas." I could not read the whole sign but it soon became obvious they were hustling contributions for the wedding dresses, or maybe baby clothes."Prendas" means like articles of clothing. Then they all left to repeat the procedure somewhere. Else. I thought briefly about Toc Toc but then I remembered I was thirty years too late for that. Thought maybe Viking Bar but that was full of fat Germans so I went to bed.

After completing my move in the morning, I rested a bit and then headed to Elite Productions at Cerro Corá 217. I did not like this place. Was presented with six flabby chicas, who introduced themselves from five meters away to where I could barely hear their names. For research purposes I was going to fuck the least flabby one but was quoted 100k for half an hour vs. The posted 80 so I left. The madam slammed the door behind me. Suggest avoiding. I believe this was another place we walked out of on my first trip. So then I had promised to go to Azará 479, Morena Mía, to see if it was really open on Sundays for my friends who arrive tomorrow, but crossing Caballero I remember a 903 on the list and figured to go there.

At Caballero 903 I was buzzed in and there were four chicas just standing in the living room. I do not like that set up too much either, because you have to face the ones you reject. But I am a cold hearted bastard for the most part so I looked at the cutest one by far and said,"¿Vámonos?" and she nodded. I asked,"Cuánto es el arancel?" and she looked nervous and confused. Another chica, chubby with a fishnet top and no bra, took charge and said,"70 la media hora, cuarenta minutos 100, 120 la hora, lo normal." I interpreted "lo normal" to mean "typical pricing." Went in the room with the chica, a very short morocha with a cute face and decent teeth. She left and came back and asked if I wanted "normal o completo," at which point I realized I had misinterpreted the earlier statement about "normal." To quote one of the famous Peruvian sisters from Buenos Aires, referring to "completo," "Esto es para putos." Not my thing. So I said "cuarenta minutes, normal."

This chica was an ignorant campesina. How ignorant? She actually believed me when I said I was from Bolivia. Probably could not find Bolivia on a map. But I am not here for intellectual pursuits. She knew sexo, though. BBBJ and was not stopping and and it was very good and I wanted to CIM but could not. I do not know what she would have said or done if I had but she sure did not seem too worried about it. Said she had only been there since Monday and that is probably why. She has not yet learned she is supposed to be cold and detached. Lots of kissing too and she was wet as hell. So it was very fun. She has three kids already so her pussy was loose but a good time was had by both parties. I am probably the first gringo she has ever met. Pamela is (not) her name and she said I should come back on Monday and if I went with anyone else she would be mad. I said I would definitely be back but of course I won't be. Bathroom here was out of both soap and toilet paper. I always bring soap though. I think maybe the chicas live here. It was quite an informal atmosphere and for the sleazier among us, could be worth a visit for a gang bang. I think this would be a good place to go to shit faced. Not open Sundays.

Grabbed a cold beer which was 4k in this 'hood vs. 4.5k around Colóand, a huge savings of 12 cents or so. I was dizzy from the sex so I slammed another one, which for some reason made me even dizzier. That made me think I should sit somewhere and pound a liter but mindful of my obligation, I deviated almost a block to Azará 479, rang the bell, and confirmed they are open on Sundays and in fact are open 24-7. Or, a chica lied right to my face. That has happened maybe once or twice before in my life. I guess tomorrow we will know for sure.

Then I went to El Lido, a diner on Palma and I think Chile. This place is great. Fat, old, professional waitresses. I was a line cook for a lot of years and worked in a couple of diners so it was fascinating to me. Had a really good slice of ham and cheese quiche and an ice cold 630 ml Pilsen in a bucket of ice, and flirted shamelessly with the two women having lunch next to me. Gato Hunter, this is not the place they burned the burgers. I might eat here every day. Slammed two more cans of beer on my way back to the hotel and I think a nap is in order.

Oh yeah, the drinking age here is 20, unlike most places in Latin America. I am sure it is rigorously enforced. Although, the doormen at Toc Toc were definitely checking IDs last night. Also 2011 is Paraguay's bicentennial in case anyone gives a shit.

    Asunción Day 2

Beautiful weather here. High 70s (F) and sunny with a bit of a breeze. Could not sleep in the Asunción Palace, way too much street noise, and the wooden windows were so loose the bugs were coming in. So I went down to the next block to the Hotel Armelé and looked at the rooms there. They were advertising $49 US but when I got there they said $55 US. I figured I would look at the rooms before I started to beat up on them about the price. Saw two rooms, one with a balcony on Palma and another interior. Even the one on Palma was much quieter than the Palace, because the windows were better and because it is on the seventh floor. That was a much bigger room too, and not near as run down. But, the bathroom smelled funky and I had that issue in Formosa; smells like a stinky toilet but it comes up from the floor drain. So, I took the interior room which did not have that issue. I stayed at Armelé on my first trip and I remember the breakfast was not very good, but if I have a refrigerator I can work around that.

Then I beat them up on the price until they came within 5000 guarnies of the Palace. I just kept saying that $49 US is on the internet right now as we speak. They said their website was down which is obviously bullshit:

    http://www.reservas.net/app/hotelreservation.exe?2623

Then they said, well the price in dollars is going to fluctuate in guaranies. That is same excuse the Palace, which was advertising either $35 or $39 US, gave me last month when I made the reservation. So then don't advertise in dollars; advertise in guaranies. Anyway the dollar has been strengthening against the guaraní the last few days. Finally at the third level the manager (cute) agreed to 185, 000 guarnies if I stayed 11 days (as I plan to) and paid in cash each day. Fine. Hello? If I pay in cash each day and then decide to leave before 11 days are up, what are you going to do, sue me? I decided to stay one more night at the Palace because I had unpacked all my shit (note to self: don't do that, but I was tired of living out of my backpack). It was too late to eat, pack, and check out on time so I went back and ate, massively. I will say that is a very good breakfast. But Armelé has a pool which might help combat boredom.

Bought a couple of 99 cent mysteries for my Kindle and headed out to the Plaza de los Héroes for some light reading. BTW the [CodeWord140] smelling restaurant is at Estrella 769 in case you want to avoid it, or have some kind of fetish or something. Read for an hour or so. The big thing the vendors were selling there were knives. Big ass knives, like a Swiss Army Knife on steroids. They weren't too pesky but didn't your mama teach you not to interrupt people who are reading?

Then I walked to the Plaza Uruguaya, which is tent city and quite nasty. I had a hamburger from a street stand after I watched for a few minutes and saw he was using plastic to handle the food and that the patties were in a cooler. 6k for the burger with tomatoes, ham, and cheese, plus 4.5k for a Pilsen. This is not the place to sit and read so I proceed to Azará. I figured when my legs got tired I would hit a privado. BTW things are not as far away as they seem here because there is no 100 block. So you go from General Díaz 101 to Azará 101. In other words, there are no one- or two-digit street numbers. Ran out of gas around 900 so went to Azará 905 which looked familiar.

Entering the place, I recognized it as one of the places I had been to on my first trip, but one where we had left without having sex. Chubby young madam was friendly as advertised. They had a lot of chicas, as advertised. Waiting room has coffee and a water cooler. There is a separate door to exit by, although I don't see what good that does since it's right next to the entrance. I was shown five chicas. Four doable but one had a cold attitude. Fifth one had too much junk in the trunk. The waiting / viewing room is not well-lit. Primarily for that reason I decided I would go for a half hour in case I got fooled by the lighting. Chose Diana for 80K.

Nice body, especially the tits. My guess from the tits is, no kids yet. Had not had regular dental care in her youth, unfortunately. No BBBJ this time. But it was a good CBJ so I just let her suck me off, which took her about twenty minutes. So not much time to chat. She asked me how I knew about the place. I never mention the forum so I said some Dutch guy named Eric told me about it in Iguazú Falls. She said, 'Oh, yes; we all know Eric. Where is he from again? ' I said he was from Holland and she said, 'He got mad because I thought he was German. ' So I explained about Hitler and such. The thing is, I made that all up about Eric. Weird. Then she asked about the guys in the white shirts with the name tags so she got a brief history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. God, I hate those sanctimonious fucks. She asked if they came to the privados which was pretty funny. I was explaining how they couldn't even go out alone and how they couldn't even drink coffee. None of that made any sense to her, or to me either for that matter. Then the bell rang. OK place, nice girl, won't repeat, of course. No hot water in the sink but the bathroom was clean. Probably there is hot water in the shower but I don't shower in privados.

What else? I noticed that the exchange rates are better on the side streets of 14 de Mayo and O'Leary than on the main exchange area on Palma. Saw 3880 on O'Leary at Oliva. Bought two beers at a C store / kiosco and the gentleman steered me away from the Pilsen, which he said was still a bit warm. I appreciated that and bought Brahma instead. In Argentina they sell you lukewarm beer all the time and often charge extra for beer from the cooler vs. From the shelf. But then in Argentina you get BBJ with CIM. So, you win some and you lose some.

    Asunción Day 1

Took the chicken bus from Clorinda (never go to this town; it reminded me of Cambodia) , Argentina. Had a little trouble because they will not let non-Mercosur people cross the foot bridge in Clorinda, because they have no way to give them the exit stamp. Had to take a combi van, very uncomfortable. 10km to Puente Falcóand, to catch the chicken bus. 5k guaranies. This bus goes to the bus terminal so I got off at Mariscal López and took a city bus into town. I think that was 1500 guaranies. Got off at Colón and B. Constant and walked two and a half blocks to the Asunción Palace. Could have ridden one more stop but the exhaust fumes were getting to me. This hotel is not a palace. Kind of run down in the lobby, and run down in the room too. Small TV (like 13 inches max) , poor lock, but good hard bed and roomy. Got cleaned up (raging hot water, good water pressure, flimsy shower curtain so leaked everywhere, but decent thick towels). Shampoo smelled funny which fit right in with clothes I had washed in Clorinda, which smell like disinfectant or insecticide. So all that made me feel quite romantic.

I had changed 100 Argie pesos in Clorinda for 87k guaranies, but was then offered 89. 1 on the paraguayan side of the bridge. That was just to have money for the bus and the cab I did not take. I figured I'd take a cab from Mariscal López but some lady on the chicken bus told me what city buses went to centro so fine. Anyway I needed to become a guaranillionaire, one of the things I like about Paraguay. Got a million guarnies at the HSBC ATM on Estrella and O'Leary. Had seen a clean looking restaurant on Estrella between O'Leary and Ayolas but when I went in, it turned out to be a buffet with lukewarm chafing dishes. I must say I have not seen Sterno in a very long time. Left. Went in another restaurant on the same block, smelled like [CodeWord140] worse than any restaurant I have ever entered. Left. Went to the good old Chopería del Puerto on Colóand and Palma and ordered tallarines estofados con carne. This is supposed to be bow-tie pasta and estofado means stuffed. What it actually was, was spinach linguine with large chunks of stew meat. I was starving since I had not found anything even remotely resembling a meal since I had left Formosa on Monday. It was actually quite good and the Pilsen beer was near freezing as usual. On the chalkboard it listed two prices for all the specials. I think this one was 7k and 12k. 23k total was the bill, so I asked the waiter what the difference in price was and he said 7k was for a half portion. I am not a big eater and if this was the full portion I would hate to see the half portion. I could have easily eaten two and probably should have.

The outlets in the hotel are of the two round prong type which will not work with anything I had with me, so I bought an adapter for 3k and of course it did not work because it had no ground. Also bought some beer and snacks at a fairly large grocery, which had no Pilsen. Got some cheap brand called Kaiser, never heard of it, tasted fine. Time for pussy now. Because I could not stay on the net long because my computer was not charged, I quickly pulled several addresses that were all on the same couple of streets. Had a bunch on Azará but before Gral. Díaz turned into Azará I recognized 14 de Mayo and headed up the hill to 1008, an address that seemed familiar, and the neighborhood did too so I knew I had been there before.

Yep. Blue door, cheery fag receptionist, definitely familiar. So out comes a chica, looks okay, friendly, missing a tooth or two, introduces herself, stands there. Ummm there is only that one chica. Well, my feet are sore and I have not had pussy in about five days. Confirmed the price, as reported. 120k la hora. Andrea is her name. I am not expecting too much at this point. Room is fine and has a clock and I think I have been in it before, fake brick wallpaper. Immediately starts BBBJ! An Asunción first! It was good, too, not just nibbling around. Thought about cumming in her mouth but I think she knew what I was thinking so on went the plastic condom (even though my perfectly good US condom was displayed prominently on the mesita) and then it is the dick breaking, ball smashing guaraní reverse cowgirl. But she had a firm body and a nice ass so that was okay for a while and then some more positions and busted a nut around the 40 minute mark. Washed up, had a nice chat about Buenos Aires and how there are no clocks and they knock on the door after 40 minutes. 24 alleged years (my guess was 23) , one kid, a 5 year old boy. I guessed both age and sex which amazed her. The age guess was based on her age minus 18. Talked some more about why Argies are racist and why paraguayas thus lie in the clubs and say they are from Misiones. Nice gal. Will not repeat, of course. She did insist they were open 24-7, about which there has been some discussion on the board, but said they really did not have very many chicas working there right now.

Tomorrow I will go to some places on Azará. I think my approach will be one street per day. My budget is only going to allow one chica a day unless I want to go the half hour route and-or find a cheaper hotel. The former seems more likely than the latter but I will be interested to see what the breakfast is like. If it is very poor I may bail on this hotel. The big thing for a lot of guys is it is chica friendly but I cannot really see bringing chicas back to my hotel in this town.

Liters of beer at the grocery are more expensive than in BA by 10 or 15% but single cans are cheaper by about the same margin. So you win a few and you lose a few.

Finally AVIS propably gave me the best offer for 900 all inclunding and for sure without a car you are in the big trap that calling MICROCENTRO. And something more about how cheep is the country, I found to be same with Argentina in everything except privado prices and this not in all privados, there are places that are out of logic asking for one hour even 1000000 G that meens with today rates more than 250 US. I ll be back if I have something intersting.
Are the car rentals offering gps loaded with the Asuncion road map?

Going out with her for dinner or drinks and then end up at my hotel for the night?

Semi-pros or gf type of girls instead of hard pros?
